Hi. I’m Angelica and I’m a Brooklyn native, a momma, and gamer who has been into art since a child. I focus on capturing candid, wholehearted moments portraying your true personalities while always keeping the vibe relaxed and intimate. Your wedding is a unique and precious celebration of love. It should be fun for you and your guests. Just be yourself as I capture all the happy, emotional, romantic and quirky moments that make you and your partner who you are.

Angelica captured our special day absolutely perfectly. We had hired her for our wedding that was supposed to happen in 2020 but had to be rescheduled for 3 years later due to the pandemic and through that entire time she stuck with us! She was communicative and responsive, and her shots were absolutely gorgeous. She managed to capture every single important moment of our celebration and the way she guides and corrals everyone into taking pictures that look good is nothing short of a miracle (trust me, I feel so awkward in front of the camera and I look incredible in all of my wedding shots.) If you need a photographer for your wedding, Angelica is 100% your girl.

Jess and her second shooter were absolutely clutch - they came EARLIER than expected, took a look at all the spacing, and planned out what exactly what we would do and where. Jess also managed my absolutely crazy family by figuring out who should be in what photo EVEN THOUGH she had never met them before. And she did amazingly beautiful getting ready photos. I don't know what to tell you except that I'm in awe of her artistic talent and what a complete steal she is. For someone who already had really high expectations to live up to from the engagement shoot, Jess hit every single expectation we had and more! We chose a crazy artistic venue with a courtyard, garage, townhome, and gallery - but Jess managed to find all the best lighting while also managing to keep us away from guests during our first-look photos. She has just such an eye for style it's CRAZY! And she captured all the small details perfectly. There's really no choice here - if you want someone who captures the real moments and gives you photos that let you remember what your wedding FELT LIKE - not what it looks like on a postcard, but the real gosh-darn emotion, then you need to book Jess. You 100% will be so happy you did - because the person behind the lens is also a gem. <3

Adorable Times Photography

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Big Indian, NY

Journalist and professional photographer/cinematographer in good standing since 1980 Member of the most prestigious wedding and event associations, Internationally and the States. Serving the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia, with a level of excellence unmatched by our competitors.

I looked into several photographers, and the low budget ones were basically bad, and the good ones were thousands of dollars. Adorable time gave us top quality photos at a reasonable price. We went out to Robert Moses beach to shoot our engagement shot, it was easy to meet up and communicate with him. He was very professional, and it was a breeze to do business. The contract signing went without a hitch. Ive posted our engagement shoot photos so you can get a good idea of the quality. My moms an amateur photographer and she really likes them as well, which is surprising since she is very picky. I'll probably update this review when the wedding pictures come in.

From my first moment as a wedding photographer, I knew I wanted to kick tradition to the curb. I was tried of seeing wedding photography that excluded the communities that I hold closest. I work hard to form a real connection with each of my clients to craft an experience that captures their unique spirit.

Ashley is so perceptive and talented! I told her a little bit about us and our style and she created the right balance between moodiness and fun that we wanted. She always got back to us just under 24 hours and answered every question that we had. She is dedicated to her clients and their needs. I enjoyed being in her company because she made us feel comfortable. She understood our needs and never pressured us to do anything out of our comfort zone. We are a more laid back, care-free couple, so we gave Ashley lots of space to experiment and it definitely paid off. If nothing else has convinced you, we have already booked our 1 year anniversary photos with her and I will continue to go back to her for any event that should be photographed.

Veronica was a pleasure to work with—especially in the midst of our cancelled wedding due to covid and planning a private elopement. She was quick to respond and more than willing to help make this unplanned day very special. She was flexible about time and place, whatever worked for us! She was upfront about costs and what we could expect in return. She was extremely professional and focused—she made the most of every minute of our time together with no unnecessary small talk (which we appreciated). She scoped out the setting and quickly noticed all of the opportunities for great shots. we saw her visions come true and her photos were absolutely stunning, creative, and top notch quality. I love her pictures more than I love the pictures from my re-planned wedding a year later. You will not regret working with Veronica!

Sava Weddings

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Big Indian, NY

We (Melissa & Michael) became wedding photographers because we truly believe we have something different to bring to the table. Our goals are simple: to help you relive each moment of your wedding day every time you look at your images, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and blend into the crowd like we're your guests. We pride ourselves on open & honest communication with our couples, a seamless booking-through-wedding-day process, super speedy photo delivery, and lending a helping hand in any way we can.

This review is long overdue and well deserved. If you only have time to read one more sentence: Hire Melissa and be confident that you will get the photos and vision you want on your special day! We partnered with Melissa at Sava Studio for our wedding this past September and she shot, composed and edited our engagement photos as well. Melissa as a vendor is responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, creative and gregarious. She was always open and transparent with us, patient listening to what we thought we wanted and our vision and was always available to offer feedback as we requested. She walked us through the entire wedding process with respect to the photography aspect and she also offered assistance as we needed in related areas as we got closer to our wedding date. Our first interaction with her was our engagement photo shoot and Melissa made my partner and I feel comfortable while she was shooting and she was very flexible in the shots we wanted to take and what we wanted to see. Very importantly for me, Melissa has a great eye for a memorable photo! Getting to see the raw photos as well as the edited ones Melissa showed us her talent and professionalism. We shot in bright sunlight, shade and darker areas and Melissa was able to handle it all. Our wedding was a few months later at our parents house and the area that the ceremony took place in was unique in that there were a lot of trees/shadows/light patterns to manage. Melissa handled it all! She and her partner used every trick in the book to get the best photos of my wife and I and were able to take some classic natural/unposed shots of us. It speaks to her professionalism and vision that she knew where to be and when to get the best shots! Post-wedding, Melissa had us a sizable preview to review almost 24 hours after the wedding so she could collect feedback before sending us our final photo collection. Once sent, Melissa/Sava made it very easy for us to share photos with family and friends and access them in the future for when we wanted to reminisce. We can't thank Melissa enough and we recommend Melissa at Sava for all of your photography needs!

Susan Shek Photo + Video

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style

With nearly two decades of experience capturing weddings, I've honed my craft into an art form. As a lifelong New Yorker, the city is my canvas. I’m not just a photographer; I’m your insider, offering expert recommendations to make your special day truly unforgettable. My passion for preserving love stories is the driving force behind every image I create.

When you book Susan, you book an entire team. I was so confident the whole night that photos were completely handled because Susan's team was ON TOP of it. Before I even thought about a shot, they were already taking it. It didn't feel cheesy and they were so fun to work with. Susan was very patient and kind with me too whenever we did pre-wedding calls and I was an utter mess trying to plan everything.

Weddings are celebrations that are full of emotion and romance all in a highly dynamic environment. Wedding photographs are timeless and irreplaceable so as a photographer, I feel I have a great responsibility at hand. I try my best to work with clients on their needs, provide flexible coverage hours and I work within their budgets. I am drawn to those unguarded candid moments. I attempt to portray an artistic feel that reveals feelings of emotion onto the viewer. Be it a gaze, a beaming smile, tears of joy or a blurred image to depict movement my goal is communication. It is these moments along with many others I feel should be captured.

Jose is fantastic! He has so much experience and very professional. Before our wedding day, he always had quick and clear communication. We loved his artistic eye and dramatic style of photography. He knows how to give good direction for those that aren’t used to posing or being photographed, and was always looking for the next shot. He definitely lets you be you and can still get amazing shots. We were surprised at how quickly we got to preview our gallery. After the wedding day, I realized that there was so much I didn’t get to document personally to remember the details from that day. But after seeing some of the shots, Jose had made me so happy to see how much he documented from the day! I highly recommend Jose :)

Ishan & Preeti | Ishan Fotografi

5.0

  • Serves Big Indian, NY

Relive the moments as you experienced them. When it comes to your wedding, what are you most excited about? The ceremony? Dancing the night away with family and friends? Indulging in the emotion of the day? The photos are important so you can relive each memorable moment. But the moments are only memorable if you take the time to experience them in the first place. This way, you'll not only experience the moments of your wedding day - you'll remember them well. Who better to photograph your experiences than a husband and wife team who understands the importance of this day. And the moments that shape it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do we even begin with Ishan and Preeti of Ishan Fotografi?! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I (and all of our guests!) would highly recommend Ishan Fotografi to any couple looking for talented, thoughtful, creative, adventurous, understanding, professional, responsive and downright fun photographers! I first got introduced to Ishan & Preeti a year before my wedding at another wedding they were shooting. I really liked their vibe/personality while working with the couple - they were really thoughtful in their approach and shots they took, had great ideas/visions and were really great at demonstrating poses for the couple because they're a couple themselves! I immediately reached out to them the next day to get to know them a bit more. Ishan and Preeti were very communicative from the beginning - answering any of our questions via email, text or phone call; inviting us to their place to see their work; asking us how the wedding planning was going; etc. We got along with them instantaneously and knew we didn't want to book anyone else. Not only were Ishan & Preeti great photographers, but also GREAT company! We loved every minute of our engagement shoot with them. It can get a little awkward taking photos in public, but Ishan and Preeti made it super fun and relaxed. That kind of energy and vibe cascaded throughout the wedding weekend. We were so appreciative of this, especially because they knew how to help us navigate stressful situations as they arose throughout the weekend and made sure our photos still came out great! They also took the time to walk around our venue and scope out the best places to take the different types of photos we wanted. We received our photos very quickly after the wedding. There are so many amazing shots we are having a hard time picking our favorites!! Definitely a good problem to have :) If we ever are in need of photographers again, we know exactly know who we'll be calling!

Stay Gold Tyler

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Big Indian, NY

Celebrating the wholeness of life and the perfection of love I truly ask you to "stay gold"! My beautiful clients are couples of all genders, orientation, and identities who have found each other and want this moment in time captured in heirloom quality. We leave the churches and the hotels and venture into wild world, up the mountains, to the islands, into the forests, and out into the deserts. Stay Gold Tyler delivers stunning portraits, family heirloom formals, and b-roll candids that will have you laughing and "aww"ing for a lifetime. Tyler splits time between South Florida, New York City, and Seattle.

My husband and I got married on a hiking trail near Seattle in 2015. We lived in Nashville, and had never even been to Seattle, yet we had a trip planned there and decided to elope. I found Tyler's photography website online, and immediately could tell his style was exactly what I was looking for. The entire time leading up to our trip, Tyler's communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure our elopement went exactly like we wanted it to. He even let me ride with him to our elopement spot, as my soon-to-be husband rode with our officiant (we wanted to do a first look, so I didn't want to ride in the same vehicle). We didn't have a specific plan for that day, but Tyler facilitated it so effortlessly -- as if it had been planned all along. He suggested a first look at the base of the hiking trail, and after that we hiked together until we found a good clearing in the woods for the little ceremony. When that was over, we hiked the rest of the way to the top, where we took a few more photos and signed our wedding license. Tyler even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate! Tyler, his assistant, and our officiant were the only ones there besides my husband and I, and we enjoyed the day together as if we had been friends all along. Now that I've made it clear how highly I think of Tyler's communication, suggestions, and helpfulness, I'll add that his photography is incredible. I wasn't sure how the pictures would turn out, as our elopement day was overcast and seemed to be on the brink of rain-- but as soon as I saw them for the first time, I was blown away. In the years following, several people have told me our wedding photos are the best they have ever seen. Tyler took a beautiful location, and truly did it justice with his camera- a feat not every photographer can achieve. (And to think half of the photos were taken WHILE he was hiking alongside with us!) If you want a personable, professional, and helpful photographer who can deliver the photographs you'll cherish for the rest of your life, look no further. Tyler is your guy!!

You know those first few months that you fall in love & everything is so wonderful & terrifying & just so damn GOOD? It's that “new love” feeling & I’ve never been able to replicate that feeling with anything else, except photography. Your wedding day tells the story of your love. From that “new love” to the more comfortable kind, it is the culmination of all those moments leading up to “I do.” I consider myself the narrator of that day, telling that story and documenting your connection through my photographs.

Jenny is an absolutely wonderful person and amazing photographer. So kind, friendly, organized and talented. She is a pleasure to work with always. She listens to your needs, guides you through the process, and delivers work that showcases all of the love and fun of your day.

Husband + Wife duo! NY transplants. We have a 7 year old son Finn, and a 3 year old daughter Goldie, as well as a goofy golden doodle Bernie and an extremely sassy cat named Scout! You can typically find us at home drinking way too many lattes, or taking advantage of everything NYC has to offer!

This was the best day of my life and the best part of our day was Teryn flying into Las Vegas to shoot our Elvis elopement. The photography is seriously the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen! Make sure you check them out on there instagram. Her energy is so amazing and she made us both feel so comfortable and natural. Her and her husband are both incredible people and totally out of this world creative artists. A few months later we got married again in Brooklyn and threw a big party for family and friends and her husband Dakota shot that party and the photos are incredible and he was so lovely to be around and made us feel so comfortable, we got married at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar and he out did himself with the amount of photos we got and how artistic and cool they look! I recommend them to everyone I know. So do yourself a favor and hire Love Like Ours to do your photos!

Jason and his team were absolutely amazing on our special day. From the beginning of our time with him, he offered budget friendly plans that included so many perks that most photographers/videographers do not offer. My husband and I choose the highest package because we couldn't turn down all that it had to offer. Not only did we get a beautiful engagement shoot, we got another shoot we can use for the future, we received a leather bound guest book for our guests to sign, a scrapbook with messages of all the photo booth pictures our guests took, a highlight video of our special day, and all day coverage capturing all the special moments from beginning to end. Jason even tried something new and did a same day edit slideshow for us during our reception. He is so personable to work with and ensures you feel comfortable taking pictures. He accepts feedback and really works with you to create a unique experience specific for the people he's working with. We will continue to use Jason Pierce Photography for all of our special life moments! Thank you for a job that exceeded our expectations!!

I'm a storytelling photographer specializing in photojournalism inspired weddings. I'm an actual photojournalist too! My work has been viewed internationally in publications such as National Geographic, Time, Rolling Stone, People, Reuters, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Newsweek, Aljazeera, NBC, CBS, CNN, BBC, MSNBC, CBC, Reddit, Buzzfeed, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Esquire, and more. When I'm not taking photos you may find me mountaineering, playing an accordion or piano, tending to my tiny house and tiny garden or riding my bike here, there, and ev'ry where. Also, I'm afraid of gum.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot say enough great things about Lindsay as our wedding photographer. She has such a talent for capturing emotion and truly telling the story of your wedding day through her photos. So many of her photos bring me right back to how I was feeling in those moments. She shoots a perfect blend of traditional portraits and the candid "in-between" memories. She captures details and moments that you never even realized she was there to catch. During the formal portraits she does a great job helping you feel comfortable and giving posing directions. However, I truly think she stands apart because of her ability to capture “real” moments and be discreet during parts of the day where she isn't explicitly giving direction, while still getting every aspect you could want (e.g. during the ceremony, dance floor, etc.). She has some angles of our ceremony that I still don’t know how she was able to capture them, we didn’t even notice she was right there! Her work truly speaks for itself. I am so very grateful that we chose her to photograph our wedding and that we have continued to work with her in the years since our wedding for our maternity, newborn and family photos. Lindsay has truly become a friend in the process of being our wedding photographer. I recommend her to all of my friends who are planning their weddings and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Hello, I'm Cheryl I'm a Philadelphia/NYC based photographer specializing in engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and family photography. While working as a nurse, I found my passion in photography. My goal is to document genuine moments and provide results that you can cherish forever!

My husband and I were so lucky to work with Cheryl for our wedding and engagement photos! Cheryl went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident, and we were so impressed by how detailed, prepared, responsive, flexible, and kind she was at every step. Cheryl and Alyssa were so wonderful to be with on our wedding day, and they made everything feel so easy and fun. Beyond being the best and sweetest human, Cheryl also has such an incredible eye! There is a dusty old photo album that I’ve looked at hundreds of times. It is from my parents’ wedding more than 40 years ago. It shows me a little piece of my history every time I look at those images. When I lost my father, I realized his memory lives on in those images for me. It’s like this perfect window into the past that I want to give each and every one of my wedding clients.

When we received our wedding photos from Monika, my husband and I sat for hours looking through them, laughing, crying, smiling, reminiscing and enjoying moments exquisitely captured by Monika and her team. In the end, we looked at each other and said: "Let's get married again!" Part of the magic of our day was Monika's ability to capture forever cherished moments. The look on my husband's face of me coming down the aisle, my mom watching me dance with my dad, our friends cutting a rug on the dance floor, our families gathered together-- all of the things that we didn't get to witness on the day, but were beyond thrilled to see. We knew from our initial conversations with Monika that she would bring her utmost professionalism and talent, but also her genuine excitement to be there with us on our wedding day. She made the whole process a breeze. She made us feel comfortable during our engagement photos (which can sometimes be awkward) and helped us find our flow so we were ready for the big day. She arrived to our wedding venue early, with her shot list and the full day plans in hand, ready to go. She captured photos of all of our friends and family-- giving our wedding guests beautiful mementos from our day. Monika delivered a "sneak peek" album the day after our wedding (AMAZING!) and she sent a tear-jerker slideshow with some of her favorite moments along with the full gallery. Everyone that has seen the photos is in awe of her work. We can't recommend Monika enough, I've already sent her information to my recently engaged friends, only to be able to see her work her magic again! Thank you for everything!

Keith MacDonald Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the very first interaction, his communication was clear, transparent and made us feel comfortable. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations - he captured every shot we had envisioned, even when we unexpectedly had to shoot our first look in rain and sneak the bridal party photos in during then too. Keith made us so comfortable during our photo sessions, helping us feel at ease despite our natural discomfort in front of the camera. Keith has a true talent for seeing through that and capturing us exactly as we had hoped. He is a one-of-a-kind photographer, and we are thrilled with the beautiful memories he was able to create for us on our special day. I would recommend Keith to absolutely everyone and would book him again in a heart beat.

I stay behind the camera because I'm more than a little introverted. That is, until I get to know people. Then I open up and we can talk about movies, music, dogs (I'm happy to show you pictures and videos of my rescue dog). Upstate New York-based wedding photographer that believes in breaking in the rules and keeping the energy laid-back and fun. That's right, we do things a little differently around here. Believe me when I say I get it, having your picture taken is scary stuff. Now throw in the nerves and stress of a wedding day and you're a freakin' hot mess. Here at CLP I'm fully invested in you and in making your wedding day kick-ass!

My husband and I got married in June of this year. One of the hardest vendors for us to choose from in the beginning was a photographer. Once we met with Cheyenne, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was so personable and kind from the first meeting with us. She did an amazing engagement photo shoot with us back in September of last year and gave us option to choose where ever we wanted for the location and also helped give suggestions to a location as there are so many to choose from! Cheyenne was also tremendous in figuring out our wedding day timeline. This was something my husband and I were both stressed about just making sure we had everything right, but she just asked us simple questions and did everything from there! This was so beyond helpful! She also shared it with all of vendors after she put the timeline together too. Fast forward to our wedding day - she was nothing short of amazing!! She got there early to check out the venue first and then was right on it with photos of the guys and then the girls! Cheyenne captured amazing photos from every single part of our day. I attached just a few that she captured. She was amazing getting all of our family pictures done after the ceremony too! Cheyenne also bustled my dress for me before the reception with ease and so quickly! This was beyond helpful and so kind of her as it wasn’t something she had to do, but she was so happy to do it! She was with us for almost 12 hours on our wedding day and had a smile on her face the entire time. She is so genuine and amazing at what she does. We are so thankful that we did because she’s the absolute best! One more thing that Cheyenne does that I didn’t see a lot of vendors do that was so helpful - you can do a payment plan with her and pay every few months before your wedding (depending when you book). This was really helpful as weddings are expensive of course so having this option really helped us plan and prepare better! Make sure you book Cheyenne! You will NOT regret it, I promise!

I’ll try to keep this short: I’m a silly, introverted, rule breaker with a sincere whimsical streak. Originally from Iowa with a decent chunk of time spent bopping between Minneapolis and Oregon, I love weddings + photography (duh), my nephew, a stiff gin + tonic, propagating too many damn houseplants, and my cats. Last I checked I’m an INFP, Enneagram 4, and Capricorn which makes me quite the pragmatic daydreamer + observer: as unnecessarily prepared as a Boy Scout, curiously creative, and hella laid back, all of which uniquely prepares me for the ebb and flow of a wedding day.

Caitlin is a dream. From the time she arrived to the beginning moments of our wedding, Caitlin right away was comfortable with everyone. She brings an ease which allows people be calm and we honestly forgot she was there, snapping away. There were many moments where she would check in and make sure everyone was good, the energy was so sweet. We received our photos right when she said they would be done. The work Caitlin does captures the warmth, and light of a love event. My husband cried the first, second and third time we looked though the collection. We will treasure them forever. Highly, highly recommend her! 100%

I would highly recommend Ivy Lane Photography! We used Brittany for our wedding day and were so glad we did. Me and my husband are both a bit camera shy and typically really don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera. However - Brittany was able to set us both as ease, and capture some truly beautiful shots that we will treasure forever. Overall I was happy with the experience - we had fun during the process and were so happy with the end result!

Our passion for visual storytelling and photography began over 20 years ago when we started capturing incredible stories, weddings and life’s most important events behind our lens in a little town in Abruzzo Italy, and later on we expanded onto South Florida’s warm beaches and New York's charm. As a worldwide family owned brand that started as a husband and wife team, our DNA is down to earth, creative and artsy. We are outgoing and full of creativity. No two weddings (like no two paintings) will ever be the same. Our approach: candid, photojournalistic, natural. We are here to capture the creatives in love. The real, the authentic you.

Acromatico is amazing. The quality of photos down to how they delivered our pictures was with the upmost care and professionalism. Marietta broke down pricing for us and accommodated our chaotic rainy wedding day schedule. She’s the best, so patient and kind yet the best photographer I have ever had. I'm not here for insta-worthy moments. I'm going to capture the wind in your hair and sand on your feet. I will photograph you dancing in the pouring rain and laughing at the cake you just smashed in your partner's face. Life is messy and beautiful, joyful and sentimental. I don't believe in perfection, but I do believe in perfect for you.

Anton and Natalie were absolutely amazing to work with! I was stuck on making a wedding timeline and they took right over and sent me one to get me started! Communication leading up to the big day was frequent and helpful. On the big day, Natalie went above and beyond, holding my train, holding my drink, and stepping in and buttoning my dress when my mother wasn't able. I will forever be grateful for all of the extra things she helped with that day. The photos were excellent and had their artistic touch that makes them unique and standout photographers. They definitely have a long and successful career ahead of them.

Dear Heart Film + Portraits

I created Dear Heart Film + Portraits in college when I realized just how much I love photographing other people. It started with fun-loving seniors and now has developed into capturing adventurous couples who are so unashamedly in love.

We just had our wedding on 11/17/2023 and I cannot say enough amazing things about Shelby and her team who worked with us on our big day! From the very beginning Shelby was literally amazing, she is super supportive, kind, and organized. When we first got engaged, I talked with a few different photographers over email but Shelby was the only one I felt like matched our style, vibes, and her personality was also a great fit for us. When we did the intro zoom call, I felt like we were a great fit! My husband and I are more on the casual side of things for photography, never big fans of posing for the cameras but Shelby made us feel comfortable during our engagement session so I knew she was the right fit and I couldn’t wait for the wedding photos! Fast forward almost 1.5 years later, Shelby created detailed schedules and met with us a few times to go over the details of the wedding day. She has super detailed forms that you get to fill out to make sure you get everything you want on the day of. I will say, the schedule that she made was SUPER helpful, I sent it to Hair/MUA as well as my bridal party so everyone knew where and when to be at certain times throughout the day. Finally it was the big day! Shelby was scoping out the venue early and started taking the detail shots (dresses, perfume, rings, etc)! We also had a second photographer and videography included in our package. What I loved most about our experience with Shelby is that she was just a calm and confident presence during our big day. I feel like sometimes people get flustered, nervous, jittery, etc with everything going on but Shelby was there for us whether it be cheering us on to get the perfect shot, encouraging us to get that kiss, directing family members so we didn’t have to, or holding on to our tissues for all the happy tears. Shelby also is mindful of what YOU (the couple) want on your big day. If you change your mind about certain poses or things you want to do throughout the night, no big deal, Shelby goes with the flow! I loved all of the natural poses that she put us in and we are literally IN LOVE with all the sneak peeks she sent us. We can’t wait to see the entire gallery as well as our wedding video in a few months! Shelby, thank you for everything you and your team did, you are so incredibly talented and amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend using Shelby at Dear Heart Films for your wedding!! 100000/10!!

Hello! My name is Katie, and I am the wine-loving, adventure-seeking, memory-making human behind the camera. I am passionate about supporting small and/or local businesses, especially when I travel. You can usually find me trying out a new brewery or restaurant or exploring a different trail leading to some new view!

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Katie for our wedding photos was our best decision! We would hire her again in a heartbeat. For the entire year-and-a-half that my fiancé (now husband) were engaged, Katie met with us periodically on the phone to check in about specific topics such as scheduling or a family photos “shoot list”. We got our initial response within a couple days of sending our inquiry, then met on Zoom that week to meet her. She asked about our relationship, our personalities, etc. to get to know us, which was great and made everything more personal. It was easy to book a second shooter through Katie to get more photos, since she will find and contact another professional photographer for you, which is a step out of the way while you’re busy wedding planning! Our wedding day/photos being taken: What we loved about Katie is that her photography style is that her photos don’t feel awkward or too posed, and they feel more journalistic. There will of course be lots of formal portraits of the couple and wedding party, but Katie does an amazing job to get genuine smiles and laughs out of everyone. She is super funny, kind, and down-to-earth. Katie got along great with the wedding party and made everyone feel a lot more relaxed on our wedding day. Photographers are such an important part of the wedding day and keep the day going smoothly and on-time, and Katie did an exceptional job. Our edited photos: My husband and I were in LOVE with our edited photos from both our wedding and our engagement photoshoot. I am usually not the biggest fan of photos of myself, but when I looked through our wedding photos, I loved every single one. We immediately put together photo albums for our parents and had such a hard time picking our favorites! We would put all 1000+ photos in there if we could. I still look at these photos almost daily, and can’t wait to have nicely framed ones in our house. Professionalism: Lastly Katie was extremely professional. She wrote a contract, kept notes of everything so that nothing was forgotten, and was always on time or early for everything. You could tell she really cares about every single client, and puts the work into getting to know each couple far in advance before their wedding day. Altogether we would definitely recommend any engaged couple to hire Kate Elaine for wedding photos. We rate her 100/10 and could not have picked a better photographer!

Wow. This woman is not only a great photographer but an all-around great person. Just my upfront vibes from her made me feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot. She gave us a suggestion of a location and she really helped us out when it came to different poses that would work and different photo ops. I was so excited when I got the engagement photos back and when she arrived at my wedding venue the day of the wedding I knew that I could trust her to capture our wedding beautifully. I got some sneak peaks and I am in love. I cannot wait to get the rest of the photos. I would hands-down recommend her as a photographer to anyone! I found her on this app and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my wedding.
