“It is not unusual for wedding planning to begin more than a year in advance of your big day. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. Liv didn’t let that happen. The groomsmen forgot tie clips. Liv ran 5 blocks to pick up tie clips for the boys and was back before the girls even arrived at the church. Her foresight and planning were impressive but her ability to think and adjust on the fly is what made our day go off with zero issues. We cannot thank Liv enough for her help. “Lindsay's music really took our ceremony to another level. Coming around the corner to walk down the aisle, hearing the first few notes of the song and then her beautiful voice transported me. I walked down the aisle with both of my parents and we were laughing and joking around while waiting. As soon as she started playing the song for us, something changed, we all had immediate tears in our eyes, it was time! That was one of the most amazing moments of my life, and her music as the soundtrack was a huge part of the feeling that I remember. My husband and I really wanted to have a live musician play at the ceremony but we had no clue where to start looking. I went on gigmasters.com and just started listening to local musicians pages. As soon as we landed on Lindsay's and listened to her video of 'On Raglan Road' the search was over. I was sold in probably the first 10 seconds of listening. Her voice is amazing and she is SO talented. She wrote me back immediately and was so friendly and enthusiastic, it just made me more exited to hire her. She was super helpful in the planning of the ceremony music too. I didn't really know where to start and she walked me through what to think about, the different songs I could choose from, etc. We even had particular song in mind for the processional and she suggested a different, slower way to play it so it would make more sense for the processional. It couldn't have been more perfect in the end. She played for the whole cocktail hour as well and I think it created the perfect mood for our guests. The party went until 10 pm. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

“Having great wedding photos was definitely a huge priority for me in planning our April 2022 Boston area (Assembly Row) wedding. I'm a visual person, and knew that, especially a few drinks in, the photos would be a big part of how I remembered our special day. When I came across Lindsey's photos, I knew she was the one! Her photos stood out to me among the warm-toned, softly edited photos I saw a lot of online. I loved how unique a lot of the weddings she featured looked, and everyone just looked like they were having so much fun -- and that's exactly how I wanted our wedding to feel: fun! She quickly responded to my inquiry and in the first zoom call she was incredibly informative, super friendly, and I could tell that we'd be a great fit! She walked us through all of the logistics, the pricing, etc., and there were never any surprises. Beyond taking stellar photos, what we loved was how helpful she was along the way. We've never planned a wedding before, but she's photographed so many! So her suggestions and reassurance along the way in terms of the wedding timeline, logistics, even offering to connect us with an officiant (though we ended up going with our friend), and everything was really reassuring! On the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly, and let us get ready and do our thing while she scouted out locations to take photos later. We never had to worry about a thing the day of. She was very flexible and able to adapt when we went slightly behind schedule, and did a great job making us feel really comfortable! Her second photographer, Brian, was also fantastic and made my husband and his friends feel really comfortable taking photos; and I think they both helped him feel extra confident before the ceremony. I think what you'll see from the photos I'm posting here is how much fun we had, and she was there to capture (and encourage) it all. I love how organic all of the photos feel, and she really caught the essence of how fun of a day it was. & she got some great personality photos of all of us-- and we love that there are some "less then perfect" photos in there too. We also loved that her and Brian both joined the party and danced all night with us! Not only did they bring the party, I think that made people feel even more comfortable in front of the camera and we have some true gems for the album. Everyone has complimented how amazing our photos are, it's one of the first things people say when I show them the photos, and it even convinced many of our friends/family that paying up for a high quality photographer really makes all the difference and is worth budgeting for. All in all, could not recommend Lindsey more for engagement and wedding photography and being an overall great resource for all things wedding in the Boston area.”

He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. He provided a questionnaire that made the whole planning process so easy, and his execution was simply fantastic. Joey G truly made our wedding day unforgettable!”

Flawless logistics and professionalism: Working with N&V was completely stress free because Naomi and her team are true professionals. She was respectful of our budget, had a clear, well-structured contract, and payment through her professional portal was incredibly easy. Everything was delivered, set-up, and cleaned up flawlessly and on-time. Importantly, if there were any issues day-of, we didn’t hear about it or take on any of that stress (though with her careful planning, I bet there weren’t any fires to put out!) While these sound like boring logistics, all of this professional preparation on N&V’s part saved us a ton of time and stress wedding planning. Positivity and good energy: Naomi herself is the warmest and most effusively positive person - that was clear from our very first consultation call with her and was even more true on the day of our wedding. We felt showered in positivity throughout our experience working with her, which is exactly what you want on your big day!
