Hi there! I’m Lindsey “Lensy” Michelle (she/her) – a New York City and Boston based wedding and elopement photographer specializing in non-traditional celebrations. My style is a mix of candid and directed coverage that seeks to amplify and celebrate what makes each couple unique.
I put in the time to get to know you and your partner so that I can align my coverage with what matters to you. Lensy Michelle Photography is not a "studio of photographers." I am one photographer who thinks that working closely with each of my couples matters in your overall wedding experience.

If it were possible to give six stars I would! I came across Lindsey via a google search "wedding photographers in Boston" (thank you, google) and feel very lucky. I was drawn to Lindsey because her photographs tell a story, they are filled with movement, authentic human expression, and life. I wanted our photographs to capture the realness of our wedding and I did not want to feel like I was constantly posing. Lindsey captured it all, from joy, surprise, boredom, love, fatigue, warmth, and more. I am especially impressed by her ability to capture all of the important and unique moments unique to an orthodox jewish wedding. Everyone in my large extended family was impressed and so was I. I recommend Lindsey to anyone looking to capture the full spirit of your wedding. No matter what it is that makes your wedding unique, Lindsey can do it. I literally look at my pictures daily, thank you so much, Lindsey!
Look No Further - You've Found Your Photographer!
From start to finish, Lindsey was a joy to work with and we wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photograph our wedding. Our meetings were so comprehensive and she walked us through every little detail and left nothing overlooked, which made us feel so prepared and in control! Our couple's shoot was a fantastic way for us to get to know each other and get a feel for being professionally photographed before the wedding (which was so important!). She gave great advice and made it so easy to be photographed; her friendly and warm personality and direct leadership really put us at ease. She didn't miss a beat during the wedding and was an absolute rockstar (despite literally falling head over heels for us, but battle scars are cool, right?!). Not to mention, the photos came out beautifully and she has an incredible eye! Our families could not get enough of the photos! She really has a passion for her work and will do everything to make sure your special day is memorialized in the most beautiful way!

We LOVED working with Lindsey. We planned on having her as our wedding photographer at our big family wedding, and when we decided to add a small, private ceremony with just immediate family and grandparents, she totally made it work to be there too. The photos she took are the best photos we've ever had taken of the two of us -- we didn't think it was possible to both look that good in a photo at the same time. Lindsey was fun to work with and made the whole process super easy by being up front about everything from day one. We keep looking back at the photos and the energy of the day really comes through, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Also, I would give 6 stars for clarity of communication if I could. Thank you Lindsey!!
Amazing!
We hired Lindsey for a Cape Cod wedding in late September and had a wonderful experience working with her (and her second photographer, Jullian). She brought so much warmth and enthusiasm to the planning process and made it a breeze. It felt like she really cared about getting to know us as people and understanding our goals and dreams. On the day itself, she was professional, flexible, and accommodating, but also super high-energy. Throughout it all, she seemed genuinely excited for us — and somehow, also, she and Jullian were seemingly everywhere at once, getting photos of everything and everyone. She told us her style was to be part of the party, and she really was — so many friends afterwards told me how fun it was to be photographed by her! A look through Lindsey’s portfolio will show you that her photos are stunning, personal, and unique to each couple — and that certainly felt true for us. We’re so thrilled with Lindsey’s photos and really feel like they capture what made our day special. Lindsey was also super respectful around questions of gender and identity throughout the process and during the wedding itself — inclusivity was a priority for us, and it’s clear that it’s a priority for Lindsey, too. Highly recommend working with Lindsey.
