What an amazing experience we had! Truly the most accommodating, friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. The venue is absolutely beautiful at all times of the year, and the staff is extremely prepared for any sort of weather change in a matter of minutes. Zoe was immediately welcoming & wonderful to work with, and helped to explain everything to us every step of the way. Reasonably priced, all-inclusive, customizable packages - we so appreciated only having to coordinate with 2 outsourced vendors!! The food was -delicious-, the bartenders were friendly and professional, and the clean up crew was so organized, efficient and kind. The getting ready experience was one of the most memorable parts of the day; Sarah was hands on & made sure we had snacks, bubbles, and anything we needed! Our day-of coordinator Alexandria was hands down, -incredible- in every sense of the word. Because of her expertise, the day flowed effortlessly without a single slip up; I had even forgotten my flowers up in the balcony, was literally walking down the aisle, and the -second- I turned the corner, she appeared with them out of nowhere and placed them in my hands. (I’m not kidding, it felt like a movie experience). My wife and I truly couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience for our wedding. Thank you, Empress Estate!

Moonlight Events is a beautiful, modern venue that can accomodate all couples. We have small packages and packages that are all inclusive to fit your needs. The entire building was renovated in 2019 making everything modern and simple to match YOUR theme and style.

Our wedding took place 11/20/2021. When we toured this venue in March of 2020 we immediately felt like this was the perfect place! If you’re on the fence about an all inclusive venue my suggestion is to say yes. It is sooooo worth your money to have someone else set up, clean up, serve, bartend, decorate, etc. The staff was working constantly throughout the evening and making sure people were taken care of. Kylan, the owner, deserves a special shout out because she really does make this day your dream come true. We have been in communication with her over the last year and a half. She gave me her personal number from the beginning and she was easy to get ahold of via text/phone call whenever we had questions come up. She loves her job and it shows. I came in the day of our wedding with some extra decorations and all our desserts and she immediately took over and I trusted that she would make everything perfect, which she did! (She even decorated our cake) Kylan was always making sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night and we couldn’t be more appreciative of her guidance, professionalism, and fun personality! If you’re lucky her and her friend will also jump on the dance floor ;) Overall, we had so many compliments on the food and the venue as a whole. Thank you Kylan and staff for everything. It was exactly what we envisioned!

The location right on the water was beautiful and made for a romantic backdrop. Our guests raved about the delicious meal and many said it was one of the best wedding dinners they had enjoyed. The space itself was elegant yet comfortable, with large windows to showcase the views and a great dance floor. We felt it all came together seamlessly on our big day thanks to Asia, the Events and Sales Manager and her attention to detail. We were beyond impressed with this venue. They have so many options of areas to be married. The crew is so kind and makes sure everything is exactly how you want it. The bridal suite is to die for and the room for the groom is really neat. This place has a speak easy feel with a modern twist. We even had Halloween inflatables at our wedding! We got married October 2023. This venue is absolutely stunning and the train tracks for pictures are beautiful as well. They communicate very well, also. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue.

Black-owned open floor studio with large windows and original exposed brick. The large windows allow a hefty amount of natural sunlight to fill the room. Good for photo shoots, exercise classes, small banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, launch parties, and meeting space. There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading. This is your premier and intimate event studio.

I have hosted, and decorated a number of events in this space. The PDX Suite Spot is spacious, with beautiful exposed brick walls and large windows to view the “Portland” sign from inside. This space has room for VIP’s, Kitchen, DJ’s and more. There are elevators to take you to the second floor or a stairway that leads up with no issues. The hosts are just as kind. and professional. Communication is always returned within a reasonable time frame. I have also witnessed the host help setup for an event when the coordinators were late. This is definitely the type of over and above service I am looking for when choosing a venue to host my events. I highly recommend The Suite Spot and hope you’ll give them a chance as well.

We've got options. Bar Carlo is a unique venue that has multiple spaces for mingling. Guests at the bar can spill out into the outdoor, covered space on our very wide sidewalk on a warm night while groups chat on our plush couches and others snack out of view. We even have a covered alley for overflow guests, kid's zone, smoking section, piñatas, dance party, you name it. With a full bar and kitchen, Bar Carlo is a perfect photo-ready relaxed steal.

Melinda and everyone at Bar Carlo did such an incredible job of making everything perfect for us and our forty guests. The spaces (both restaurant and the outdoor alleyway/stage that served as the aisle and the altar) were made available in plenty of time to decorate, and it all looked gorgeous! The food was AMAZING (especially the shrimp, and the best chips and guacamole I’ve ever had), and I’m still getting texts like “What a beautiful wedding, Em. You looked beautiful. But the FOOD, oh my God, the food was SO GOOD…” It truly was the exact opposite of the dreaded Rubber Chicken wedding. Communication was smooth and answers always came fast; my random requests were always met by a “Yeah, I’m sure we can make that happen.” And happen they did! The bartender was fabulous, drinks were amazing, and our “signature” Negroni slushy was…well…it was maybe a little too good. Everyone has an amazing time, and my *husband* and I are eternally grateful to Mel and her staff for making it happen.

The best location ever! Beautiful venue. I think I knew it was the one the first time I visited and we looked at 3 other venues. EVERYTHING went as smooth on the wedding day. The ceremony (which is the most important to me) and everything else went the way I wanted it to so I was very happy about that. I thought it was perfect! THANK YOU especially to our Coordinator, Noel. She was just a delight to work with! Anyone would be so lucky to have you as their coordinator. We just felt at ease with you. I will definitely recommend you guys for anyone planning their weddings or other events. You are just simply the best! Their in-house vendors are fantastic to work with as well. Possibly the best decision we made during our wedding process (aside from getting married), was choosing this venue. We were able to rent and use 3 locations throughout the weekend (Pavilion, House 3, and Thunder Island), and each was accommodating and gorgeous in its own way. The ease of having everything from welcome night, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception in the same spot made our logistics 10 times easier. Lots of wedding venues are gorgeous, but what sets the Locks apart is their this place is that they are truly flexible and hospitable. They will actually listen and try to make anything work for you! We had 200 guests so we really pushed the capacity, and the team worked flawlessly to make sure we got what we needed. Jeanetta (the manager) offered so much helpful perspective, was easy to reach and communicate with, and went the extra mile, even helping us put up and take down lights, bringing her personal tools. It felt like showing off the PNW to our east coast and Midwest guests. They were blown away, and so were we. If you want a low-stress, high-flexibility, and completely stunning outdoor wedding, this is the spot. Hidden gem for sure.

The general vibe was very open and accommodating and relaxed. We are also an lgbtqia couple and we did not experience even a moment of feeling uncomfortable because of that. The venue is absolutely perfect. You do not need to over decorate. The background, beautiful trees, the pond, the pavilion, the lawn, the lights- it’s all stunning. Five stars because you should absolutely book with them!! These are wonderful people to work with.

The team at Ironlight have created something so special. People choose to get married in the PNW because of the unparalleled beauty. But....we also have to deal with wind, and the occasional smoke from a wild fire. Because mother nature can be so fickle, its important to have a venue that has flexible options. And that, Ironlight has in spades. Their indoor space is elegant with incredible natural light. It is truly a space every couple can customize and make their own. Their outdoor patios allow couple and guests alike to enjoy our beautiful days and nights, with one deck showing off a view of Mt. Hood, and the other highlighting our amazing PNW sunsets. While the space is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed, I also appreciate the other amenities like a dedicated parking lot and garage, easy loading dock for vendors, fully private restrooms, and complete handicap accessibility. And while the venue speaks for itself, I also want to highlight the customer service this venue offers. Their team is made up of brilliant, service oriented women and everything from the ease of tours, to internal processes to client communication is done with care and thoughtfulness. As a caterer, this venue is a favorite of ours! It is easy to find and get to, beautiful, and the staff is always great to work with. Our team is also in Hillsboro, so it is close to our location which makes catering there great! The have tables and chairs onsite, as well as a prep kitchen, which is convenient for the client and vendors. The space is very adaptable as well -- I've seen weddings held here, memorials, cocktail parties and more. Including my own highschool prom! 110% recommend checking out this venue, if you are looking for a Hillsboro event space with beautiful architecture.

We were overly impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism from the staff. Our wedding reception went so smoothly and as the bride I felt so confident that if anything was going to go wrong the staff would handle it. We were told from multiple guests, and agree, the food was delicious and the best wedding food people had ever had. I highly recommend as a venue and am so happy we were able to find it for our venue 6/30/2022.

There's just so much to love about these 28 secluded acres—rustic, welcoming buildings, a peaceful pond, trickling creeks, springs, meadows, and trails, all surrounded by forestland. Exchange vows in the perennial flower garden, then celebrate under the charming peeled log pavilion. Enjoy cocktails at the outdoor bar, or come up with an idea your hosts haven't seen yet. they love it when couples get creative! Enjoy your overnight stay in the cool glamping yurts, platform tents, and honeymoon cabin. Spend the day cycling the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, hiking, or playing lawn games, then gather around the fire pit at night reminiscing over s'mores.

Vernonia Springs is THE place! We got married in October 2020 and fortunately had planned on a wedding ceremony with less than 30 people pre-COVID. I had several questions about everything and was constantly emailing Jeff to ask about all the ins and outs. He wrote back quickly, consistently, and professionally. We visited twice beforehand and Jeff was helpful and friendly. He was easy to work with having food trucks come in and pre-approved day before with a couple drop offs. When the big day arrived, the venue was beautiful, had safety protocols in place and we heard several compliments on the atmosphere. The venue is quiet and tucked away with limited cell service, so at the end of the night, when everyone sat around the fire place, it was relaxing and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in one of the yurts and the bed was so comfy! Other guests said they enjoyed their bed and setup as well. Honestly, I have only have great things to say about Vernonia Springs!

There are so many amazing venues in our area, but finding one that has been created with such care and attention to detail and experience can be a bit more challenging. This property offers so much variety for both indoor and outdoor locations, and every single one is picture perfect. The indoor options all have tons of natural light, and great lay-outs. The entire indoor-outdoor flow is also very well planned, between all the buildings, and outdoor spaces. As a photographer, I often wonder why venues are laid out the way they are when it comes to the position of the sun, timing of ceremony, best sunset lighting, etc etc. But even the gorgeous outdoor lawn under the ancient tree is in the most scenic spot for perfect light. A photographer's true dream venue for sure! And I haven't even mentioned how kind and attentive the owners are yet! They will feel like your best friends for the day, and will help however they can to make your vision come to life. It's clear that Redland Family Farm is a project of love, and I can't wait to visit again and photograph more events there!

It was BEAUTIFUL. Nestled right next to the cutest plant shop, we were in tropical plant heaven. It was so nice to have so many amenities in one place.
