From the moment we started planning our wedding, Anna and the team at Hey Honey Photography were an absolute joy to work with. She was an excellent communicator even through COVID and our wedding date shifting multiple times. We could not be happier with our wedding photos, we are absolutely obsessed! All of our images came out so beautiful, Anna captured the day even better than we imagined. She not only photographed every detail, she also surprised us with a very sweet card and a sneak peek of our photos with some beautiful polaroids she took that brought us to tears. We absolutely loved working with Anna, she was very professional, sweet, and her work is amazing. We also used her services for our engagement photos and they came out beautifully as well. We highly recommend Hey Honey Photography!

Weddings by Katherine Marchand

I'm Katherine, a wedding photographer based in Oakland, CA. With over a decade of experience and features in Vogue, Brides, The New York Times, and more, I know how to create wedding photos that don’t just look stunning — they feel like you. No trendy filters, no forced poses, just authentic moments that reflect who you are. I believe the best moments aren’t staged. They unfold naturally, in the quiet glances, the belly laughs, and those unspoken connections shared with your loved ones. My goal is to capture those raw, in-between moments that truly make your wedding day yours!

Holy smokes! If you're looking for a photographer in California/Bay Area who's not just talented but an absolute blast to work with, look no further. We just had our engagement shoot, and let me tell you, Katherine is the real deal. Her personality is so infectious, we forgot we were even doing a photoshoot. Before we knew it, we were laughing, being silly, and just having fun with what felt like an old friend. She asked us all the right questions that made us feel at ease and boy, did it show in the photos. TLDR? If you don't book her, you're missing out big time. I would 1000% recommend her.

My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

WE'RE EJ § SARAH! Husband and wife team. When you look back on your celebration, you don’t want to see bits and pieces of the story. You want to see, remember, and feel it all. My wife, Meredith, and I had the immense pleasure of working with EJ & Sarah Stavick for our wedding this year, and we cannot recommend Stavick Studios enough! From the very first interaction, EJ & Sarah's communication was exceptional. They made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, ensuring that every detail was covered and that our vision was understood. Their organizational skills were impeccable, leaving us stress-free and able to enjoy our big day. On the wedding day, their team was phenomenal. They were everywhere, capturing every special moment, yet they were so discreet that we barely noticed their presence. Their creativity and attention to detail were evident in every shot. The candid moments especially, were some of our favorites. When we received the teaser film and the photos, Meredith and I were left speechless. The quality and artistry of their work are beyond words. Every shot, every frame was beautifully, bringing out the emotions and joy of the day in a way that we will cherish forever. Their passion and dedication were clear in every aspect, from the carefully planned photo setups to the spontaneous video moments they were able to capture. EJ & Sarah are not just talented professionals; they are wonderful people who genuinely care about making your wedding day as special as it can be. We have recommended their services to everyone we know who is looking to capture their special day. They are a dream team, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, EJ & Sarah, for your amazing work. You made our memories last a lifetime.

I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hannah captured our day beautifully. She was really easy to work with and it was such a relief to find a photographer we were so comfortable with. I was extremely picky when it came with choosing a photographer - I searched forever before finding Hannah and felt an instant connection when we spoke. Our search stopped there as we knew she was who we wanted at our wedding! I was really nervous for the engagement session but felt instantly at ease as soon as we begin shooting. She made my fiance (at the time) and I extremely comfortable and the session was actually really fun (not that we expected it to not be fun haha.... we were both just so nervous that we were scared for how it would go!). We had numerous guests compliment us for hiring her because of how delightful she was to have at the wedding. A few of our bridesmaids actually hired her to capture their wedding after working with her! I truly can't recommend her enough - Hannah is an absolute gem!

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Connie was so awesome to work with! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to communicate with and always responded to my emails quickly. When my wedding day rolled around she was at the venue on time and got to work. She was patient with everything going on, she had an assistant as well that was great! I told Connie that I was worried about taking pictures because I never considered myself photogenic, she told me not to worry. She did a great job! The pictures turned out beautiful! I love them! Now the hard part is choosing which ones to print.

Originally from Colombia, I now call California home! I knew this passion was more than a hobby, so I pursued a degree in production photography and after graduating I decided that it was time for me to start fresh here in the United States. Upon moving here I immediately became captivated by helping others capture their most wonderful memories, especially during what might be one of the most important moments in their lives- their wedding!

Stephanie took photos of the food and drinks at my fresh seafood restaurant for promotional material, she was able to highlight our food and unique dine-in a way that was captivating and real.

Hello! Whether you're seeking a content creator to capture the behind the scene moments on your big day or a photographer for your couples shoot, I am your person! I aim to capture all the details that are typically missed.

I recently worked with Kathy for an engagement photoshoot at SF City Hall. She was incredibly flexible when we arrived late, which we really appreciated. She took the time to capture a wide variety of shots around the area, and her friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable. She also provided helpful directions during the shoot, making it a fun outing overall. Thank you for your hard work! (Added my favorite photo. I like the motion of it which is quite apt given we were dancing, and the lighting is romantically moody.)

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Cherlyn is a dream. A friend of ours recommended her to us for our engagement photos and I swear she has some inside scoop with the sun because the lighting was insane (in a good way). She literally managed to find every single shimmer the golden hour had to offer. My husband (never gets old) and I pulled together a somewhat last minute ceremony and reached out equally last minute to see if she was available, and thankfully she was. Our ceremony was followed by dinner and drinks at two separate locations hours apart - so we had super low expectations for capturing the whole day. Cherlyn not only came to each location, she helped with set up, and did her thing making sure every special moment was photographed. She's personable, thoughtful and will go out of her way to make you and your partner feel comfortable. For us she felt like an extension of our community and a new friend. If you're in the SF Bay Area, look no further. You won't be disappointed.

I am an East Coast transplant wedding photographer based in the SF Bay area. I’m super laid back and kind of a goofball… I like to have fun during my photo sessions to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jess. We used her for not only our engagement photos & wedding but our pregnancy announcement, maternity photos with both my babies, & newborn photos. I know Zola is a wedding website so I will keep it wedding related. She’s professional & fun. She makes you feel beautiful & comfortable but also makes you feel like she’s not even there. She captures every tiny detail and is true master at finding the perfect lighting. If her photos aren’t a testament to her work just trust me (a complete stranger to you) when I say “book her now!”

Hello! I'm Varun, a photographer with a passion for turning fleeting moments into lasting memories. My photography goes beyond just capturing a scene - I strive to tell a story through my lens, one that evokes emotions and brings your vision to life. I have been covering weddings throughout the Bay Area for over a decade and have only had 5 Star Reviews. Check me out on Yelp!

Finding the perfect photographer felt daunting, but Varun eased all our worries. From the start, he impressed us. He wasn't just professional, he was meticulous. He delved deep, understanding our vision and those must-have moments. His punctuality on the big day was a lifesaver! But Varun's talent goes beyond organization. He's a creative genius! He captured candid moments beautifully, seamlessly switching to stunning portraits. His friendly personality put everyone at ease, even the camera-shy guests. The real magic? The photos themselves. Welcome. "I BELIEVE...connection matters. Photos tell our story and carry our legacy. Melanin matters on camera. Every human deserves to be seen. 8 out of 10 humans say they feel awkward in front of the camera; Laughter is the antidote." It is my loud passion to capture the personality of relationship...within couples, families, communities, and even organizations. And I have been this way since I was a kid. With my hot pink camera in tow, 8-year old me would capture the loud joy of my BIG extended family. Little did I know...they were my training ground in photography. And I am happy to say that my approach to photography hasn't changed.

Brandi and her team are extremely talented in addition to being thoughtful, kind, funny, and just a joy to work with. Our friends and family kept telling us how much they enjoyed her presence as well. Would highly recommend!!!

Offbeat Photography with a Narrative Twist. I've been having fun photographing weddings for over 18 years. I find the excitement, nervousness, love, and joy inspiring to create great photographs that tell a story. I have been in love with photography since I've been a kid. Since then I have photographed actors, film directors, authors, and some very unique characters that have informed my perspective on life.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Pat to do photographs for our wedding in 2016 - which was an informal event in our back garden in San Francisco with our family and friends on a glorious July day. Pat was lovely to work with. We only needed to chat a few times beforehand. And then on the day, she was a discreet, low-key presence - but somehow managed to capture us, our family, and friends in a joyous celebration.

With a candid style and two decades of professional photography experience, my passion is capturing real moments and creating photos that tell your story. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am proud to work in the diverse communities here, and welcome the diversity of my clients who are looking to both honor past family traditions as well as create some of their own. My approach to wedding photography is simple; the day of the wedding is about two people coming together to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones, and photos are about connection and trust. My goal is to have your photographs remind you of how you felt that day.

Sonya was amazing, she photographed our engagement and our Indian wedding ceremony. Even without being totally familiar with the parts of the ceremony, she captured all the pivotal moments beautifully. she is very intuitive and made us feel very comfortable. We loved the slide show she put together with the photos from our day, and sent it to our families who watch it on repeat. We can't recommend her enough, she is not only artistic, but a really nice person which made it so much easier. She was also able to keep our rowdy families in-line for the group photos.

I am so fortunate to call this my job for over five years! My photography work often describe as romantic, soft, bright and natural that lend itself from my love of film look and fine art. I am an Oklahoma born, but Cali raised - dancer, roller skater, photography stylist, photographer, momma to two little girls, foodie, crafter, lover of laughter, action and pyscho-thriller movie watcher, and sports player. I also find peace in the outdoors and California trees. I like to keep it active and adventurous. I believe in giving 110% at everything I do, but also want it to be fun. I chose photography to be my vocation because I have a true obsession with humans and the way we love, interact, and celebrate rituals personal to our families and cultures. I stand up for equality and justice for BIPOC and LGBTTQQIAAP.

Joy was so amazing from start to finish! We booked Joy and her team for our Engagement session and Wedding Day. She helped brainstorm ideas for the engagement shoot and made all our visions a reality with bomb photos of us featuring my husbands old school. As all brides know, the planning experience can be stressful and full of anxiety dealing with multiple vendors - but I never had that experience working with Joy. I 100% trusted her to capture our big day. I’ve heard stories from other brides about “I wish our photographer did this, was able to take photos of that..” but not with Joy! She communicated great leading up to and on the big day. Everywhere I looked Joy and her team was on the move capturing the best shots in the right spots. Our photos turned out amazing and we were so happy to have Joy there with us on such a memorable day. I highly recommend and trust Joy for any photo sessions, whether it’s family holiday shoots, grad photos, engagement sessions and wedding day! She is an absolute gem, so talented and pleasure to work with!

Relationships and Connection - most important in life. That's what my photography is about. Love, joy, sweetness, tenderness - emotions to capture and communicate. These are what you want to see in pictures.

We met Eliot back in 2008 when he photographed our engagement and wedding photos. They turned out so beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests. We recently hired him to photograph my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary banquet, and once again, he did not disappoint with his work. Want a trusted, unobtrusive, thoughtful pro photographer friend on your wedding day? Someone to capture the way the wedding FEELS as well as it looks. A little direction during portrait time, a little leadership during family portraits, and near invisibility all other times? I think you’re onto something. I’m in. What's exciting? What’s important? What's confusing? Let’s sit down for a discovery meeting and I’ll ask, listen, lay out options, and share suggestions. I want to learn about you. I'm on your team 100% before, during, and after your wedding. Bonus: I've shot 400+ practice weddings before yours and I absolutely LOVE what I do!

We found Olivia to be a wonderful, skilled photographer! Her eye for composition is creative, yet she demonstrated the connectiveness of us as a couple. The one thing that stands out is how Olivia totally put us at ease by using innovative ways to relax us as we were posing. She had us, as we were holding a position close to each other, to tell each other 3 things we love and appreciate about each other. This of course brought smiles and was totally relaxing and sincere. She made us so relaxed and comfortable . As a result , the photos look completely natural. We actually became engaged the afternoon, immediately after these photos were taken. She made the moment so relaxing and magical. It was serendipity. I recommend her highly, and will be spreading the word amongst my friends and contacts. We will treasure these photos forever.

My style is natural and photojournalistic. I love capturing unscripted moments because those are the type of photos that tell a richer story of your day. Working with me means nothing overly posed, nothing awkward, nothing that doesn't feel like YOU. While we'll spend some time doing portraits, my priority is for you to be present and enjoy your wedding day. I like to shoot discreetly with an emphasis on candids so from the moment you first see each other to that last hilarious toast, you’ll be relaxed and focused on one another and not even noticed I’m there.

We cannot recommend Vivian highly enough for your wedding photography! We had multiple guests compliment her professionalism and stealthiness on the day of the wedding. Vivian’s calm demeanor was MUCH appreciated on the hectic wedding day. She is a superstar. She made sure we didn’t fall behind with our timeline even though we had requested a large number of portraits. Even though we’re a bit camera awkward Vivian was great at posing us and guests for shots. But where Vivian really shines is all of the candid shots that capture the pure joy and excitement of the day! She was so fast to provide us with our wedding photos, and we love looking back at them. The photos are framed well, have true to life coloring, and are just beautiful.

Born in San Francisco, I grew up in West Marin, traveled to the East coast and Ghana for schooling and I am currently based in the East Bay. A mother, gardener, hiker, traveler - I have a background in dance and psychology in addition to photography. I've photographed weddings for more than 20 years.

Cindi and her team at Two Irises turned our wedding memories into incredible photographs that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives! My favorite thing about working with Cindi is that she listened to what I wanted and took photos that I requested (family/wedding party shots, getting ready shots, etc.) but she also took so many candid photos and captured real moments of joy of my husband and I and our wedding guests. Those photos ended up being my favorite pictures! I loved her work so much I recommended Two Irises to our friends, who booked them for their wedding - and in exchange we were gifted a beautiful print of our choice from our wedding! Could not recommend Two Irises enough.

Oh, Honestly is a Wedding & Portrait Photography studio out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We work with the beautiful natural light that California provides us throughout the East Bay Area, Napa County & Sonoma County.

Lia shot our engagement and wedding. She was so easy going and extremely fun throughout the entire process, especially when it can get uncomfortable and awkward getting photographed. She made us feel good and confident. When we got our photos back, we CRIED! They were all so beautiful and perfect - completely beyond our expectations. She truly captured all the love, joy and happiness of our wedding day - and we looked so good! Lia is so talented and has completely mastered her craft - we highly recommend her!

Hey, I'm Marisa! I work with couples to help capture their dream wedding day! Most days you can find me drinking coffee in front of my computer editing the day away. If I’m not home in the SF Bay Area, I’m most likely in the Sierras or at a session off the grid. Outdoor adventures light up my soul! I basically live out of a duffle bag. In my free time you can find me drinking wine with friends, maybe on a run, laying around with my dog, near a lake or finding the best tacos.

Marisa is truly the best! When my husband and I first booked her last year, we were nervous to do our engagement photos, we were and are (lol) not the “photogenic/IG” type couple. But Marisa ran with it and made the whole session comfortable and embraced our quirky-ness! Fast forward to our wedding (2weeks ago) Marisa and her team were a dream! My husband and I didnt feel awkward, they were all so great no matter what scenario and/or event came up! (Insert ants) I’m so happy to have had Marisa be a part of such a special day for my husband and I! There is no one else I would go to for my future life events! Thank you so much Marisa!!
