I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Community focused & love centered. I document your day as it naturally unfolds while being mindful, intentional and authentic to your story, the people you've chosen to celebrate with and all the emotions of the day.

    Cherlyn was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From our very first interaction, the she was warm, and responsive, which immediately put us at ease. The quality of her work was truly exceptional - intimate, natural, and she beautifully captured all the little moments and details we didn't even know to savor. Beyond just the photography, she also generously helped us find a day-of coordinator who saved us from ourselves! We are so grateful for her time, energy, and talent, which made our special day even more perfect.

    Cherlyn captured both our special days (we had a small city hall wedding and a large restaurant party) so beautifully, with such a natural feel for our vibe and the energy of our events. I’m happier with the photos than I ever could have imagined!! She knew all the spots at City Hall and identified great locations in and around our restaurant venue. Every time I look at these photos I’m stunned with how magical they are - they take my breath away. She was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

    Cherlyn is a dream. A friend of ours recommended her to us for our engagement photos and I swear she has some inside scoop with the sun because the lighting was insane (in a good way). She literally managed to find every single shimmer the golden hour had to offer. My husband (never gets old) and I pulled together a somewhat last minute ceremony and reached out equally last minute to see if she was available, and thankfully she was. Our ceremony was followed by dinner and drinks at two separate locations hours apart - so we had super low expectations for capturing the whole day. Cherlyn not only came to each location, she helped with set up, and did her thing making sure every special moment was photographed. She's personable, thoughtful and will go out of her way to make you and your partner feel comfortable. For us she felt like an extension of our community and a new friend. If you're in the SF Bay Area, look no further. You won't be disappointed.
