On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me. I thought that it was above and beyond with service for her vendors. It felt good to work in an environment where I walked in with great impressions, service, and appreciation for my services rendered. I was grateful to have a setup that allowed me to work with ease and comfort. Each person who required makeup had a time slot and was on time and prepped very well. Justine did a wonderful job at making sure everyone was aware of what was going on and where we would be, if working. I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and how through her planning was executed. I also received an itinerary of the event and it was filled with beautiful moments and fun. As an attendee the setup of the event space was gorgeous. There was plenty of refreshments in a spacious and well decorated area. The food was also amazing. I loved the cultural diversity that she offered at her event to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. While I didn’t come knowing many people, because of the events and ice breaker games that we played, I left making many new acquaintances. I worried that our wedding was not the “traditional” beautiful venue of a mansion or an outdoor space with a view. But Ben made our modest Chinese restaurant look like a million bucks with his photos. We also took advantage of being close to prospect park to take photos before the wedding. Having Ben available for 10 hours on our wedding day and 2 hours complimentary engagement shoot to get to know each other was really generous and a good deal. The fact that he also understood and had previously captured our venue before and his years of experience was also really great and put us at ease. A true professional and a relaxing person to have around!! And the photos were gorgeous - worthy of Vogue, the New York Times and any photoshoot I have ever seen!!”

“Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”

Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers. He has toured all over the world and his drumming can be heard on various National TV Commercials, and is featured in the 2024 release of Paramount Pictures’ Mean Girls movie. Since even before leaving the touring life in 2015, Jon has been a fixture in the New York private event/wedding band scene and has been a drummer, band leader, talent booker and event producer for the biggest agencies and bands in the area.

“Full disclosure, my wife and I have known Jon for a long time. He is one of the most honest, transparent, trustworthy and hard-working, and talented people I’ve ever met. Separate of that, I just simply wouldn’t trust anyone else when it comes to music for events and weddings. When Dara and I got married, Jon was producing weddings and bandleading for one of the bigger wedding band agencies in New York. We’re also HUGE Marvel fans, Star Wars fans, Doctor Who, you name it, we probably watched it. We basically go to the movies every weekend. We love what we do, and want to make sure that all your memories are captured in every way possible so you can always look back at them. We’re here to make your day easy and fun!

“Stanley was truly the MOST communicative vendor we worked with throughout this process, from the moment we inquired, to the moment we got our sneak peeks. I always heard back from him usually within minutes (sometimes seconds!), but never longer than an hour or two. I always see the horror stories about brides not receiving their photos or not hearing back, but I never had to worry about that with Stanley. We also got our one minute teaser and about 60(!) sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after our wedding was over (about 1 pm the following day!). I could not believe the speed and they are SO good! His style and Allie’s style is so beautiful and it’s truly bringing our day to life so we will always have physical memories to look back on. Day of, Allie (our main photographer) and Stanley (video) arrived early and got drone shots of the venue and were quick to get to work when they found me in the bridal suite. I had so many photo requests for family photos and they worked fast (despite there being a lot of chatter), and got it all done so quickly. The second shooter (Ryan) was also amazing and had a fun time with my husband and his groomsmen. He also was great at getting shots of some of our family members without us (i.e. my parents, my sister and her family, groom’s parents) so we could be as productive as possible and have family photos, too! We decided to keep them an extra hour (9 hours instead of 8 ) and Stanley came to us about 30 minutes before the end of their service to check since we still had some things in the schedule we hadn’t gotten to yet and had offered and shared the cost to do so. We decided it was worth it and got so many more amazing photos. I cannot wait to see the full album in 8-12 weeks! And I will recommend Stanley and Allie to everyone in the meantime because everyone deserves to have their day captured as beautifully as they did for us!”

We went to one of their live shows before booking them to play at our wedding and we knew immediately they were perfect. The band is 7 guys who you would want to be friends with -- which makes them blend in seamlessly at a wedding. Their range of songs is awesome. Everyone raved about their playlist, including a few of our guests who are huge music snobs. They also did an awesome job of getting everyone involved. People were dancing, singing along, even getting a second or two on the mic. It was like having a private live show at our wedding, which we loved and all of our guests loved. The vibe is much better than other wedding bands we've seen. On top of that they were incredibly easy to work with and accommodating. Brooks never made us feel bad for requesting songs, no matter how random, and they learned anything we asked them to that they had the right instruments for. Overall it was an awesome experience and we could not possibly recommend them enough. If every wedding we go to in the future has Barnstorm as the band, we'll be thrilled.”

“We had nothing but positive experiences with Mario from engagement shoot to the big day! We used Mario for our engagement shoot in Philly about a year before our wedding. We were really unsure of locations and he had great suggestions that he ran by us and offered ideas ahead of time and during the shoot, he helped adjust as we looked at the lighting and space. We both expressed how unsure we were about taking professional pictures since this was a first for us and were not comfortable with a lot of the trendy shots and he really worked with us to make all the poses feel natural to us while still looking phenomenal. We decided to go with his associates for the big day based on our budget and they did not let down. Mario specifically picked two photographers who were familiar with our venue and had great suggestions for where to get the best shots. Our two associates, Rachel & Alyssa, were helpful, kind, fun, professional and absolute champs to get all the best pictures on our day. We had 100 degree temps and they worked so hard to make sure we were comfortable the entire time while not sacrificing the pictures we had planned for. They checked in with us often and were not afraid to tell our family that the group pictures were done so that we could actually enjoy cocktail hour (after confirming with us that is was what we wanted). They also took adorable couples pictures of our guests during lulls in the dinner service that my family and friends were beyond excited for.
