We recommend renting a car and driving to Devil's Thumb Ranch. When we last checked, there were many affordable rental car options if booked early! If you will be renting a car and making the trip from Denver, the drive will take approximately 2 hours. To get to Devil's Thumb from Denver, head west on I-70. Take exit 232 onto Hwy 40. Follow Hwy 40 for approx. 30 miles through Empire, over Berthoud Pass, and past Winter Park and Fraser. 2 miles past Fraser, take a right on County Road 83. Take the right hand fork, and follow it 3 miles to the Ranch.
