Amanda
Everyone is born with a natural gift or two in life. Mine happens to be people, family, hosting and visualization. I am a planner that has clear creative vision, prides herself in detail, organization and gives every client a unique touch. Event planning isn’t a business to me but a memory I am helping to create for someone. I love what I do and if I have the opportunity to work with you I bring only joy, peace and love to the event! My motto is be present and HAVE FUN because after all it is a PARTY!
Amanda founded this company after 15 years of experience in the event industry. She strongly believes in the idea that the energy and flow behind the planning process contributes to the beauty and success of it. The name Salt and Sparrow represents vigilance, joy, creativity, purity and flavor which are all aspects that truly defines our company.

Description | THE FLIGHT This is a full service package. It includes initial design consultation, vision or inspiration board execution, design proposal to supply vendors with, together we create a cohesive design and flow and we set up and execute a plan, vendor and venue tours, tastings and bookings, contract reviews and signings, invitation design, coordination of all appointments, mailings, rsvps, etc., a timeline meeting, timeline distribution, vendor bookings, unlimited hours unlimited hours day of the event. Basically you tell us your dreams and we make them a reality! | THE POUR This is a partial service package. It includes initial consultation, vendor and venue walk through and design, tastings, contract reviews and signings, 2 additional meetings to be used however you see fit, a timeline meeting, timeline distribution, contract review, vendor referrals, unlimited hours day of the event. | THE PINCH This Month of package includes initial consultation, venue walk through, 1 meetings to be used however you see fit, a timeline meeting, timeline distribution, contract review, vendor referrals, coordination of vendors and unlimited hours coordination services day of. coordination of vendors and unlimited hours day of event. |

Our wedding day went perfect thanks to her!
Amanda is the definition of "Girl Boss". She is a very direct person with no fluff, who gets the job done, but she is very sweet and lovely to talk to. Her assistant Mariyah is so friendly, motivated, and helpful. This team makes a perfect pair. Reading some of these reviews, I'm honestly surprised. We had Amanda as our coordinator for our wedding at the 1880 Union Hotel, a venue that she goes way back with and we had a great experience. We had a lot of very specific asks from Amanda and her team and they were very enthusiastic about it and just made it happen. She was available for multiple meetings, both virtual and onsite at the venue. She took care of everything at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. She was also nice enough to let us borrow many items from her such as plate chargers, mirror, artificial hedges, polaroid cameras, etc. The morning after the wedding, the reception area was completely empty and clean with all of our personal items boxed up. I definitely recommend hiring Amanda and her team for your wedding!
Amanda made wedding planning a breeze
Save yourself so much time by getting married at the Inn of the Seventh Ray and working with Amanda, the Inn’s dedicated planner. Amanda was responsive to our questions via text and video call, and the access we got to her Aisle Planner planning platform (with an incredibly detailed planning checklist) kept us on track and reduced our stress immensely.
Did not even show up
We were required to use her at the Inn of the Seventh Veil, and she did not even show up to the event. She didn't even show up to meetings until we hounded her and the venue which had required us to use her. We had someone else we wanted to use, but we were required to use Amanda. If I had it to do all over again, I would use a different vendor which did not require us to use her. No vendor should require the use of her. She will ruin your irreplaceable day.

If you want the best of the best of the best, you have to call Salt & Sparrow for your wedding! Not only is the owner an absolutely lovely person, but her team is equally amazing! They work within your budget and are super creative. Amanda, Tanya and their team communicated with us every step of the way and really took the pressure off of us. We just had to show up and they took care of everything else. Our wedding was perfect, thanks to Salt & Sparrow.
