I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me! I can't wait to get to know you both in the process and become your event bestie to make your day THE BEST DAY EVER! Once your Coordinator/Planner, always a friend!

    Katie Tinker from Wildflower Elegant Events was my wedding planner and coordinator, and I truly can't imagine my wedding day without her! From our first meeting, Katie's passion and dedication were evident. She took the time to understand my vision, and her attention to detail was impeccable. She anticipated needs I hadn't even considered and handled every aspect of the planning process with professionalism and grace. On the day of the wedding, Katie was an absolute rockstar. She ensured everything ran smoothly, from coordinating vendors to managing the timeline to ruffling my dress. Any unexpected hiccups were handled seamlessly, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Her calm demeanor, fun attitude, and sharp problem-solving skills were invaluable. Katie went above and beyond in so many ways. She was organized, communicative, and always available to answer my questions. Her support and guidance were truly a gift, and she made the entire experience so much less stressful. She also helped calm me down when nerves were high on multiple occasions. She reminded me about what really matters and what doesn't and helped instantly make a difference in my emotional state.     Katie was our wedding coordinator in November 2024, and she was absolutely amazing! Super sweet and easy to work with. She made our wedding day way less stressful and handled all our last-minute ideas like a total pro. (and we had a lot of them - sorry, Katie!) Any issues that came up, she took care of them right away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, capable, and genuinely lovely wedding planner/coordinator!

    Just stop looking and hire her now i promise you. I got married last August, and hiring Katie as our wedding planner was the best decision we made! I was initially hesitant because I'm super organized and a bit of a control freak, but now I can't imagine how I would have pulled off our 150-person wedding without her. To anyone considering a wedding planner: trust me, there's way more that goes into a wedding than you realize. Having Katie on board meant I didn’t have to stress about logistics, timelines, or the million moving parts that come with a wedding. Instead, I got to focus on the fun stuff—like my cute DIY projects, spending quality time with my bridesmaids, and enjoying my bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner. Katie is an absolute rockstar. I gave her my full trust, and she exceeded every expectation. She’s organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. If I ever get married again (haha), I’ll hire her without a second thought! If you’re on the fence, do yourself a favor and book her. You’ll thank yourself later! Oh and she's also just a wonderful human who has now become my friend! It's a win-win!

    My husband and I hired Katie to help us with our elopement, which probably was more of a mini wedding. It was the absolute best decision we made and even though Katie and I worked together up until the day of the wedding, on the actual day- my husband could not stop noticing how absolutely on point Katie was with all the details. It put him completely at ease and it meant for both of us that we didn't worry about any of the details and got to be present for our wedding. We both run logistics for our own companies in a way, but never a wedding and we had a ton of questions up to the last second. Katie was endlessly patient, kind, thoughtful and helpful and in moments when I truly felt decision fatigue I leaned into her suggestions when that made the most sense to me to trust her to guide me. We've been married for only a few weeks, and I'm finding myself still thankful for the small touches that Katie brought to the day. She helped me adjust my dress countless times because it was too big and instead of stressing, we just rezipped it. She literally RAN to get a different set of my shoes at one point so I wouldn't be in pain for the ceremony and she must have a 6th sense of where I had hidden them in my bag, in the limo. She also remembered small details, like to hand me my reading glasses to read the vows and to bring us a ceremonial item for our private vows filled with water. For the photos, she helped our photography team make many small adjustments and was there to fluff my train over and over. I felt like I had a best friend, a sister and a professional all wrapped up in one person for the day- not to say that those people should not also be invited but do not hesitate to hire Katie- you will have zero regrets. My suggestions to any bride working with Katie is to lean into her vendor suggestions, tell her where you are stuck when you first get stuck- don't wait! and be open to your letting someone else help. You don't have to do it all, Katie will have a clipboard with literally every detail so all you have to do is relax and get married.
