Hello, I’m Lauren. In all my work, I strive to show the magic and interconnectedness we all share in this precious life. Everything fades but what we continue to have are the images, the memories. These are our small, everyday moments and the big celebrations. Every one becomes transcendent. Let me bear witness to your life. I will be a witness for you.

I offer a candid yet artful documentary approach to your wedding through photo and video. I’m your aunt or your cousin, the one with four different cameras documenting everything. I’m the archivist for your story. I’m operating in the shadows where the light shines from, where you may not even notice I’m there. A portion of my profits goes towards expanding resources for BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ people through donations to various organisations, or direct reparations. I also offer sliding scale price points. I believe in the power of the printed image, so every single photo session comes with complimentary print options.

    From the moment we connected with Stars of Brightest Blue, Lauren was quick, positive, and fun. She has a dreamy and timeless style that perfectly captured the joy of our special day. Despite us not having a detailed shot list prepared, Lauren already had some beautiful ideas in mind, including getting creative shots of our wedding attire. She also arrived early to scout the venue and found a gorgeous location for our first look photos. Lauren was constantly on the move throughout the event, ensuring she didn't miss a single meaningful moment. We emphasized the importance of family photos, and she skillfully wrangled our group to get those shots without a hitch. She was able to get us a few preview photos the next day and we can't wait to get the rest!

    Working with Lauren and her team from Stars of Brightest Blue is hands down always the best experience.
