My inspiration comes from my time spent in stunning landscapes from the sea to the forest. I love capturing moments outdoors through photography. I have over 10+ years of photography experience and love working with all couples. I am originally from Dallas, Texas, but based in Portland and Los Angeles. I went to film school at the University of Texas in Austin. Besides having a camera in hand, I enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, surfing, drinking kombucha, painting, singing, and traveling.

Anchor and Pine gives 5% back to public lands. My work is inspired by the great outdoors and public lands. I enjoy elopement and intimate wedding photography and to help captures memories in the PNW and beyond. My work utilizes natural light and photojournalistic style to help preserve your most special memories from intimate weddings, elopements, engagement, vow renewals, family, branding shoots and more.

As the Mother of the Bride, i cannot say enough about Helen, our wedding photographer. When my daughter and her husband researched photographers, they were drawn to Helen's photos and her editing skills. And the fact that she was competitively but reasonably priced was a plus. During the planning process she was very accessible, and answered emails with complete and clear information. She is a warm and friendly person, but at the same time very professional. She had several virtual meetings with the bride and groom, and took care of every detail so that by the big day, we knew what to expect. During the wedding and reception, Helen was there to get the best shots without ever being in anyone's way. She emailed some beautiful shots after a few days, and then it only took three weeks to get the entire portfolio sent back to us! The newlyweds are absolutely in love with their photos. These pictures captured feelings and emotions, as well as wonderful visions of a perfect day. The wedding was at TImberline/Mt. Hood, and since Helen is a master of nature photography, the end result was perfect. I cannot recommend Anchor and Pine Collective enough!

Typically, couples book me about 1 week to 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Yes, I offer an ad-on for a second shooter if you prefer for your wedding or elopement.

You will receive a full edited online gallery where you will be able to download high resolution and web resolution photographs. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

I will send previews 24 to 48 hours post wedding. Typically, my turnaround time is 2-4 weeks after your wedding depending on time of year. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an edited gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and an option to order prints. However, you are able to get your photos printed anywhere you would like.

You can expect about 75 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on number of hours you have booked, number of guests, venue type, weather and other factors.

Yes, I do carry liability insurance. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I would be happy to email a copy over.

In my 10+ experience as a photographer and in the wedding industry, I’ve never cancelled a booking. Typically it is the couple that has cancelled on me. In the very rare event I’m unable to photograph your wedding due to illness or emergency, I will either find a replacement photographer and/or refund all money paid. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers who are available for your wedding day if I am unable to take on your wedding due to illness, injury, etc.

25% deposit and digital contract and the remaining is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. My services include an initial consultation and final consultation the week or two prior to your wedding. I am also able to assist with timeline if you need help putting a game plan together for your big day.
