Hi There! I'M KALA (PRONOUNCED KAY-LUH) Let’s dive right in. I’m a wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer and if you don’t spot my hair first, you’ll hear my voice. I have a list for everything (yes, they’re color-coded) and am somehow still finding new ways to decorate a one bedroom NYC apartment (one word—plants).

I asked my fiancé to describe me in once sentence and he said “a mix between energetic and personable... also potatoes.” That’s all you need to know, right? In all seriousness, I love people. I cry at every first look and father daughter dance, and get so excited about photo shoots that I immediately start editing the pictures in my car following a session before leaving the parking lot. I can’t recommend Kala enough. She has photographed countless special moments for my family, friends, and even my pets. We started working together when she photographed my wedding in Vermont. She captured the day so perfectly and we have stunning photos. She’s photographed my growing family, from infant photos to first birthdays. She is a pleasure to work with. Kala is very timely and provides sneak peak photos usually 1 day after the event. She does an excellent job editing photos and will work with you if you have any feedback. I love working with her and highly recommend her!!
