Our wedding we can say truly was a dream come true and we feel so blessed! The wedding venue is absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with it more and more from our first visit to our wedding day! Truly something different than the norm and it does just feel magical -the outside and then when the lights hit as you enter the barn! The outside is incredible with the green grass hills from the golf course, to the newly built pavillion, and all of the secret gem places to take pictures with the photographer -the bridge at sunset, beautiful pond, beautiful wild flowers creating the most beautiful pictures ! The inside becomes so dreamy with the not only the newness and upkeep of the barn but the chandeliers and twinkle lights with as many add ons to choose from -the drapes and little decoration touches the barn can provide make it magical! We are serious when we say our guests kept coming up to us saying how beautiful this wedding was! They were torn to hit the dance floor or hang in the pavillion on our beautiful day :) The team at the barn as well could not have been better -everyone there from initial contact to the very end couldn’t have been more professional, highly and quickly responsive and communicative, experienced, and kind! Every question went answered and truly every request was made -even until the last minute changes the night before wedding day! Thank you to the Barn Team -a huge shout out to all of the management team, our servers, bartenders, setting up and clean up team-Rebecca on that team thank you for helping us make our vision of the floor plan and changing tables last minute -your hardwork did not go unnoticed as well as your professionalism, kindness, and true care ! It’s been 3 months since our October wedding and our friends/family still rave about our wedding night. Glenpharmer was still relatively new to weddings and most guests had never been to the location before. The compliments of the facility were endless. Everyone was beyond impressed with the food that was cooked to perfection. The quality of the alcohol and drinks provided are far and away better than your standard venue. I’m not much of a review person, but your wedding is important so we need to give credit where credit is due. Glenpharmer knocked it out of the park for us. We used the Tree Top Room. A little under 100 guests. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. It’s deceiving because we were wondering how our guests would fit but it was more than enough. It’s also shaded which was perfect for a hot day. Wedding packages are very inclusive and don’t leave a lot for you to worry about. We went with the Ruby package which included 4 passed apps, a cheese and fruit display, champagne toast, salad course, choice of 3 entrees, wedding cake allowance and center pieces for the reception tables(sweet heart table was an extra fee but was reasonable). We added a late night snack station as well. We worked with Janet and had a Day of coordinator, banquet captain and a bridal attendant. The entire staff were absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly everything went, how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you are looking for an all inclusive place that will literally do everything and take away any chance of stress.. I cannot recommend them enough!! They really know what they are doing!

Pleasant Valley was recommended to us by a friend that got married here also. We easily made our decision after seeing the venue, the ballroom is beautiful and can hold so many people. Pleasant valley was also much cheaper than a lot of places we looked at. Getting married during covid was not an easy process. Donna and the team at pleasant valley allowed to us to have our small but perfect wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. All our guests complimented how beautiful it was at PV and so many people told it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding!! Couldn’t recommend PV more!

I've been a wedding photographer on the North Fork for 10+ years and since The Halyard came on the scene it has quickly proven itself as a top event venue. Not only is the location itself like none other, literally hugging the water's edge, the food is beyond outstanding and the staff is wonderfully professional. The recent renovation under new ownership was so well done, featuring modern and nautical decor while maintaining the charm of the North Fork. The Halyard is connected with The Soundview Hotel making it a truly ideal wedding location, allowing couple's to relax without having to shuffle around on the big day. And no matter what light is given, the closeness to the sea at The Halyard ensures beautiful photos always. It's a special place on The North Fork and hands down my favorite waterfront venue.

They were incredibly responsive whenever I had questions and always were courteous, professional, and gave real answers (not just canned responses). Working with Cathy was great, she really understood who we were as a couple and our vision for both the ceremony and the reception. She gave us lots of great ideas on how to incorporate our theme (lemon and lavender) into the decor while still maintaining the charm of Paige Hall and the outdoor arbor. Our wedding day went so smoothly and we could not have asked for more.

We discovered this venue through Zola and fell in love with it immediately from the very first look online. Right away, we knew it felt like the perfect place for our wedding day! We scheduled a tour on January 29, 2023, and brought our parents along because we wanted to see if they liked it as much as we did. Seeing the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Moira showed us every detail of the property, including the Barn and the Winthrop Room (the two reception spaces), the Alpheus Room (indoor ceremony space), the patio, and the beautiful lawn where we could take family, wedding party, and bride-and-groom photos. By the end of the tour, we knew this was the one, and we officially booked our wedding for October 26, 2024. Throughout the planning process, the venue staff’s professionalism and experience stood out. Moira was able to answer any and all questions we had about any aspect of the wedding from the dimensions of the arbor in the Alpheus room to special meal accommodations for a guest. Also, we initially planned our ceremony for 5 PM but realized that with our late-October date, we wouldn’t have enough daylight for formal photos after the ceremony. We talked to Moira, and we were able to adjust the timeline, pushing the ceremony earlier so we could capture outdoor photos before sunset. On the big day, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was a highlight, with our guests raving about all of the food, which included filet of beef, grilled salmon, vegetable lasagna, and chicken tenders for all the kids (or kids at heart). The venue also ensured that we had some food to eat during the photo session during cocktail hour to make sure that we were happy and not hangry while taking pictures! Because of the earlier ceremony time, we were able to utilize the gazebo on the property for some formal photos and a first look with Kayla and her dad before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, we took the remaining photos out on the lawn with the stunning fall colors as a backdrop. Overall, The Barn at Wight Farm supported us in every way and did everything necessary to give us the wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend it more!

Shining Tides is an absolute gem of a venue for anyone who wants a beachy wedding!! My husband and I got married on 6/28/24, and it was the best day ever! Elizabeth was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was extremely communicative, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole planning process. The whole day felt seamless and perfect, and our vision truly came to life. The venue itself is stunning- truly picturesque! An added bonus that Shining Tides teams with Russell Morin for catering- the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and our guests can’t stop raving about it all! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have!
