For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. Capturing the elegance of a bygone era, the Arts Ballroom is a beautiful setting for life’s feature occasions. Our floor plan boasts a magnificent Grand Ballroom, a signature granite staircase, a mirrored Sylvania Room, and a Lounge & Mezzanine overlooking the full venue. Our customizable 10,000 square foot space lends best to events from 300-550 guests. Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm offers spectacular farm views and unique settings worthy of your vows. The serene farmland & rolling pastures paint an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. The Barns accommodate intimate weddings of 50 guests or larger celebrations of 150 guests. The farm itself dates to 1692, with a magnificent stone bank barn that has been standing since 1787. Country chic with a hint of rustic charm, Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm, offers lush pastures & authentic spaces.

From a small wooded road, over an antique steel bridge, you enter lion-guarded iron gates onto a dramatic white crushed stone drive, lined with old-growth pines, there emerges The Ashford Estate. A stunning estate surrounded by hundreds of acres of preserved farmland, complete with sparkling fountains, waterfalls, a floating gazebo, stone ruins, garden arbors, and sprawling views. In addition to the natural beauty of its grounds, The Ashford features immaculately preserved and architecturally astonishing structures, such as the Barn Chapel, Carriage House, and Grand Ballroom.

Grounds for Sculpture was built in 1992 to foster appreciation for modern sculpture, the venue wows guests with 42-acres of landscaped grounds dotted with over 270 pieces. The event spaces are versatile: We have two different venue locations on property – The Gallery Museum Rooms at the Seward Johnson Center of the Arts, a contemporary sculpture gallery offering a modern space with art exhibits from sculptors from around the world AND Rat’s Restaurant, designed to be reminiscent of Claude Monet’s beloved town of Giverny, with rustic French design influences and whimsical decor. The food is divine: Catering is provided by Constellation Culinary Group at the popular Rat’s Restaurant on site, which Hamilton Township natives know for its scrumptious cuisine, Zagat-rated ambiance, and attentive service. FringeArts is a unique venue in Old City with two versatile spaces that can be rented separately or together, based on the couple’s vision. Most often the spaces are rented together. Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.
