Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is a wedding venue located in Renton, Washington that reflects the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Residing on the shores of Lake Washington, this picturesque venue offers easy access to downtown Seattle, Mount Rainier and many more attractions.

My husband and I wed here in September of 2021. We had the beautiful backdrop of the lake during our ceremony and cocktail hour and then glided in to a wonderful event space for dinner and dancing. Katie took great care of us. She was in constant contact to make sure our wedding was a dream come true. We had the most wonderful sampling of delicious food. The bridal ‘get ready room’ was so spacious, a safe place to keep items during the wedding festivities, and great to gather before and after the ceremony with the wedding party. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Our couples suite was so spacious allowing us to host throughout our weekend. We are truly grateful for this amazing establishment and all those involved that made the most important day a perfect one. Also, there are great photo opportunities all around the hotel and in the park next door. Thank you, Katie and Southport Hyatt!

Falling Water Gardens

5.0

Monroe, WA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $4,500

Falling Water Gardens is nestled right outside downtown Monroe, Washington. This gorgeous 10-acre property is surrounded by green pastures of farmlands, flourishing display gardens, and many breathtaking water features. This is truly a one-of-a-kind, outdoor, garden wedding venue! Your outdoor wedding is held on groomed lawns with backdrops to the gardens and water features. There are several ceremony locations to choose from, countless background options for your wedding photos, and immense space for you and your guests to mingle and wander throughout the gardens. We include our two glamping tents in your wedding package. This makes your wedding experience even more unique, stress-free, and fun! Also included in your package are tables, chairs, staff, and much more.

Falling Water Gardens is a hidden gem located in Monroe. Not only is the location beautiful, but you also have various spaces to use for your ceremony and reception. There is tons of flexibility and a lot of options. Rick, Ken, and Liz were easy to work with, and always responded to our messages clearly and within a reasonable time frame. My husband and I only looked a handful of venues, and when I saw this one, I knew place was perfect for us. I didn't feel like I could justify the cost of a florist, and if you get married here, you don't need one. The flowers and trees in the event space are enough! Not only does Falling Water Gardens offer flexibility and different options for your ceremony and reception, but they also allow you to come check out the space while you are going through your planning. My husband and I went back to the space a few times while we were planning to get a visual for where our decor would be setup, where the bar would go, the DJ, etc. And if you give the venue a heads up that you are coming, someone will greet you and will answer any questions you may have. Some venues don't offer a lot in terms of setup, but Falling Water Gardens has 200 chairs and plenty of tables for you to use, and they will set all of that up for you. We did our decor on our own, but having the tables and chairs ready in the spaces was a huge help. They also have a large tent for the tables and chairs, and smaller easy up tents for your vendors. We had a bit of an issue with one of our photographers, and did not feel like we had adequate time to take photos as a couple. Because of this, my husband and I wanted to take more photos. When I contacted Liz to ask if we could return to the venue to take more photos, she said yes. Getting a chance to take more photos/re-do some photos made the experience that much better for us. Again, the flexibility, kindness, various options, and beautiful space are all here. Falling Water Gardens was there for us every step of the way, and they made sure our day was everything we wanted. I could not have asked for more when I found this venue.

Waterfront Venue

Tacoma, WA
  • Up to 500 guests

Located on the shores of the Puget Sound, Waterfront Venue is situated within a former lumber mill that was recently converted from a boat house to an event space. Offering panoramic views of the Sound, the nearby Narrows Bridge, and the Olympic Mountains, Waterfront Venue boasts a stunning backdrop for any type of event. An outdoor patio allows you and your guests to take in this scenery as you exchange your vows or while enjoying a fresh pint of beer from Narrows Brewery Co. The indoor venue space features 20,000 square feet of event space, topped by a vaulted ceiling and flanked by white shiplap walls. At maximum capacity, this space can accommodate up to 500 guests. Waterfront Venue hosts events starting the first week of June and ending on the last day of September.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for my wedding. I loved having the Puget Sound and Narrows Bridge in the backdrop as we said, “I do.”. Having access to the dock for golden hour photos made for some beautiful photos. The venue was a great value for everything it comes with – tables, chairs and linens that view.. it can’t be beat. It was a hot, beautiful, but hot summer day (high of 83 degrees) when I got married at the venue and it was pretty hot throughout the venue, but especially inside bridal suite and cove (where we took a lot of our bridal & family photos). There were some fans in the bridal suite, but I wish I had brought extra fans for the bridal suite because it was HOT. It would have been nice if I had a hand fan for myself during photos because it was just super warm and I had a big hot dress on. The fans inside the main area of the venue helped when you were standing near them, and having the garage doors open helped too but the venue could definitely benefit from a few more giant fans. Other than the heat, it was a great venue. If I had to do anything differently, it would just be to bring some extra fans. It was a sweaty party, but it was a fun party! The Waterfront Venue is a great venue to host your event.

Their event coordinator was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls, making planning a breeze even from out of state. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with beautiful, modern rooms that wowed our guests. The Mountaineering Club on the top floor was the ideal space for our rehearsal dinner. The outdoor space and views of Seattle were one of a kind. Our guests raved about the delicious food. The central location right off campus put everyone close to all the wedding activities too. We highly recommend The Graduate Seattle - they made our wedding weekend smooth and special through their fantastic communication, event space and lodging.
