Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Williamsville, VT

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Williamsville, VT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Williamsville, VT
  • Offer

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

Boom & Bloom Floral Design

5.0

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Williamsville, VT

Having spent decades in the trenches of the floral design and event production industries working beside renowned NYC and Southern California designers, Eliza Rose has brought her unique style to her own botanical studio, Boom & Bloom Floral Design. Eliza's signature style blends the timeless, decadent allure of the Dutch Masters paintings with the ephemeral beauty of nature. Embracing the Dutch tradition of capturing the essence of each season, Eliza utilizes native grown and foraged flowers from her property in the Great Northern Catskills as well as supporting local farms by sourcing blooms from their sustainably grown, seasonal crops.

Eliza was the florist for our Jewish/Hindu wedding in late October in the Berkshires, and we cannot say enough wonderful things. She helped our vision truly come to life, but also gave guidance when needed which I appreciated. She created a custom mandap/chuppah and incorporated some personal family heirlooms which made it so special. Eliza is a true professional and also a lovely person to work with. She has a passion for sustainability and zero waste which was important to me when picking a florist. I highly recommend Boom & Bloom!!

We kindly suggest to book as soon as you can as we are a limited capacity studio and can only take in a certain number of customers per month.

I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. I'd highly recommend her services to preserve a piece of your special day.

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. A Blooming Affair made our Vermont spring 2024 wedding so special and beautiful! Christina was a pleasure to work with the entire time, and nailed the vision I shared with her… springy, bouncy, garden party vibes. I am petite and wanted a bouquet that wouldn’t totally block my body and dress in photos, and would also fit under my blusher veil, and Christina nailed it! She was on-time, and the option to rent glassware and floating candles was so helpful for us. Thank-you, Christina!

To be surrounded by love through flowers that all your guests can feel? That’s the magic Naomi brings to weddings that is impossible to replicate. The floral designs and artistry that Naomi and her team created for our day were simply stunning. Beyond being beautiful, they were unique and felt personal to us. It was the talk of the wedding that none of the guests had ever seen a display like the florals at our wedding, and that each tablescape and design felt like a work of art. A few things additional things about working with N&V we’d like to highlight: Design and vision: Naomi not only executed a vision for our wedding florals and design, she shaped it from the very beginning. The proposal powerpoint was a detailed mood board of not only the florals, but the overall vibe and design for the wedding. For the bride or groom, like me, who was overwhelmed with how to make a wedding feel cohesive, personal, and intentionally designed, trust in Naomi to help jump start that process and hire her as one of your early vendors. Flawless logistics and professionalism: Working with N&V was completely stress free because Naomi and her team are true professionals. She was respectful of our budget, had a clear, well-structured contract, and payment through her professional portal was incredibly easy. Everything was delivered, set-up, and cleaned up flawlessly and on-time. Importantly, if there were any issues day-of, we didn’t hear about it or take on any of that stress (though with her careful planning, I bet there weren’t any fires to put out!) While these sound like boring logistics, all of this professional preparation on N&V’s part saved us a ton of time and stress wedding planning. Positivity and good energy: Naomi herself is the warmest and most effusively positive person - that was clear from our very first consultation call with her and was even more true on the day of our wedding. We felt showered in positivity throughout our experience working with her, which is exactly what you want on your big day! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nectar and Vessel, and specifically, Naomi and her wonderful team. Hire her early, trust her to work her magic and give her all the creative control, and then watch your wedding venue transform. I cannot recommend A Natural Arrangement, Florist enough for your wedding flowers and decor. From my first conversation with Jessica, I was impressed by her prompt, detailed, professional, and caring communication style. Jessica asked thoughtful questions to truly understand my vision and style inspiration for the floral designs. When I saw the exquisite final arrangements on our wedding day, I was blown away by the attention to detail and extra special touches they she added. My bouquet and the ceremony arch were simply stunning works of art, with creative uses of texture and color that perfectly aligned to my vision. Even two weeks later, I still have one of the arrangements looking fresh in my home! My husband and I agree that besides our actual ceremony, the flowers from A Natural Arrangement were one of the biggest highlights of our special day and truly exceeded our expectations. Bluebird Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Williamsville, VT for additional fees

My passion for floristry began at a young age alongside the caring guidance of my grandmother. To me, flowers tell a story of family, about who we are and where we come from. Today, Bluebird Bouquets shares these meaningful moments with others through thoughtfully crafted floral pieces for life's special moments.

We loved working with Haley for our wedding! She immediately picked up on our vision and shared so many great ideas. We wanted bright and bold fall colors and she absolutely delivered. She respected our budget and offered creative solutions when our ideas were outside of the budget. Haley was flexible when we woke up to pouring rain on the day of the wedding and I texted her at 6am. The original ceremony plan was to make a flower wall out of hedges at the venue, but she came up with a plan to accomdate the indoor ceremony space. I also loved our bridesmaid bouquets. We wanted monochrome for their mismatched dresses, and they all looked perfect. Haley even made a mini bouquet for our 8month old flower girl, matching her mother's dress. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and we couldnt be happier with the flowers!!
