Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

Preserved and dried wedding flowers are an excellent alternative to silk, sola, as well as fresh flowers, because they are in fact real and will last long past your wedding day. All of our blooms can be shipped nationwide directly to your doorstep or venue prior to your wedding.

This arch arrangement includes 3 flower sprays that can be put together to make one large spray or used individually throughout your arch. It is made in a way that can double as ceremony and reception decor. It has a loop so it can be suspended/hooked on an arch or hung as isle decor and then moved to the reception as a centerpiece table spray.

    Pick A Bloom-Preserved & Dried Florist provided exceptional service and stunning floral arrangements for our wedding day. Their communication was fast, communicative, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly beautiful, natural, and stunning. They created a gorgeous bridal bouquet, boutonnieres for the groom, best man, and father of the bride, as well as a wrist corsage for the mother of the bride. All the arrangements were beautifully made, and the vendor was always updating me on everything, which gave me great peace of mind leading up to the big day.     We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!

    I am a wedding coordinator and I have worked with Pick a Bloom! As a wedding planner, communication is crucial and this mother-daughter duo were always timely to respond. Their work was amazing, guests at the wedding were in aw at how beautiful the floral arrangements were! They could not believe that the florals were dried and real.
