Dawn On the Chesapeake is an exquisite outdoor venue designed for elegant events. Nestled along the waterfront, our location exudes intimate and romantic charm, perfectly complemented by a stunning Mediterranean-style mansion that serves as both a picturesque backdrop and the home for our spacious getting-ready suites.

Available for events year-round, Burlington is a wedding venue located in Charles City, Virginia. The main house was first built in 1818 and has been recently restored and expanded. Burlington offers couples the exclusive use of the property for the duration of their occasion. Two outdoor ceremony sites are available, as well as an expansive indoor ceremony space that can double as a reception venue. The indoor wedding space in the Stables features exposed wooden beams and custom chandeliers, while the gardens and lawn offer views of the surrounding countryside for an outdoor ceremony. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate up to 300 seated guests. The Bridal Cottage and Groom's Den allow the wedding party a private location to prepare themselves and relax before the ceremony. The Ice House Bar, an additional space converted from an 18th-century colonial ice house, can host cocktail receptions.

The party moves toward the barn for the celebration continues with dinner and dancing the night away.
