For over a century patrons have found comfort in this historic building nestled in the heights of the Meadowlands, presently home to Ivy Inn. Opened in the 1870’s as a stagecoach inn, travelers in horse and carriage along Polifly Road (later named Terrace Avenue) stopped here to eat and drink in the tavern below and sleep in one of six guest quarters above. After the turn of the 20th century, the inn evolved into a fine dining restaurant (a popular speakeasy during Prohibition), but eventually fell into disrepair. Here at Mill Creek Caterers we are a private venue. Therefore, you will not share the venue with other weddings or events during your own wedding. Also, depending on the size of your wedding you can have access to the two ballrooms we have here. Along with privacy, we have a beautiful on-site garden where we hold the ceremonies and an outside patio with a fire place. We offer a bridal suite for your wedding day so that the bride is able to touch up during the day. We are located right next to an Inn if guests need rooms close by.
