“Mushmouth is an absolutely incredible band—they had people asking us all night (and still to this day) how I found them. I think I turned quite a few of our wedding guests into Mushmouth groupies! From the beginning they were very accommodating, always quick to respond and accommodating to our song requests. They have a huge set list to select from no matter what your taste is, and they even learned new songs just for us so that we could do our first dance with live music. It really felt like we were part of a live concert just for us at our wedding. They sound so amazing and not only are they truly talented musicians, but they are also incredible performers who got everyone to dance and sing along. “Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. “All of our guests commented that the music at our wedding was lovely and really tied the whole event together. Our venue did not allow DJ's or amplified sound and Astrograss had no problem playing everything acoustically. They were really great communicating before our event. They learned 5 songs at our request and let us pick plenty others for them to play from their extensive repertoire. They even coordinated with our friend (who is a singer) who wanted to sing something for us which ended up being one of the highlights of the night.”

“Hoi Polloi - 10/10 having a band was super important to us. Hoi Polloi was everything we could have hoped for and more! They played all the music we asked for and were great to work with from the start. We booked them for our ceremony, our cocktail hour, and had 11 people with horns and a DJ. They were fantastic to work with and we loved working with them. Jim is super responsive which makes a difference. He made sure the band knew all the music we wanted to play and they even interacted with guests (which I loved).They are also VERY reasonably priced and should probably charge more! They were great. I think the biggest compliment is that people from all ages kept saying they loved them which was perfect to me. They opened with Runaround Sue which is one of the best wedding songs in the world. Everyone got on the dance floor once that song came on and they didn’t leave.”

SFC not only let us choose from a huge list of awesome songs for them to play before the ceremony, but they played all of my own works with gusto, excellent musicianship, and poise. I couldn't have asked for better. They truly contributed to making my special day absolutely perfect.
