Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes! I am happy to learn specific songs at your request within a reasonable time frame & quantity. I specifically love to learn and perform songs that are specific to your ceremony (Processional, Bride Entering, Recessional) and meaningful to you.

Q: Do you take music requests?

I generally do not take on-the-spot music requests, as I already have a carefully curated lengthy repertoire that I feel most comfortable performing. However, I am open to learning a song beforehand that your Uncle is just dying to hear at your wedding.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes! Both of these are my favorite to play. I honestly feel as though DJs are more appropriate for receptions/dance floors rather than my solo singer/songwriter vibe. But ceremony and cocktail hour are both my wheelhouse.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

I like to arrive at least 1-1.5 hours prior to the event to make sure I know where to park, where I need to set-up, make sure the sound system is ready to go and sounds excellent, meet the venue coordinators etc. and hopefully say hello to YOU!

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

I charge an additional $50 for travel more than 25 miles outside of Glenside, PA.

Caitlyn Deviney (Di-VIN-ee) is a singer/songwriter based just outside Philadelphia. Writing songs for the last 12 years, Caitlyn seeks to sing captivating stories about loss, love, and existing in-between. Influenced by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Phoebe Bridgers, Donovan Woods, Tow’rs and The Lumineers, Caitlyn’s ethereal voice met with memorable melodies creates for a peacefully energetic and authentic experience for listeners.

With over ten years of performance experience on guitar, piano, and vocals, she is versatile and able to cater to your music preferences and song choices. Influenced by artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, Joni Mitchell, The Lumineers, Jason Mraz, among others, she is available to perform at ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. Caitlyn was amazing for our wedding day! She took the time to meet with us and understand our music preferences. She went above and beyond and was willing to learn any song requests! She played a special song during our ceremony that was beautiful and our guests gave us so many compliments on the song. Caitlyn works hard to make sure the happy couple get just the music they need for their special day. Her incredible voice coupled with guitar or keyboard brings a distinctive beauty to any service or reception.
