We hired Liv to be our day-of coordinator for a June wedding. We also added on an extra month of her services, so we had her begin working with us to plan in earnest about two months out from the wedding. In the leadup to the big day, Liv was helpful and responsive, typically handling the intercommunications between all of our vendors (we had two different sites for the ceremony and reception and had to bring in everything, including transportation between the two venues) to make sure that everyone was on the same page. She did this work behind the scenes, handling things deftly and in a timely manner. Whenever we needed a check-in, Liv was prompt and responsive and we were able to get quick responses via texts/emails and longer check-ins over the phone. While Liv is still in the early part of her career, she has a clear talent and drive for this sort of event planning work. We were very satisfied with the utility that she provided in helping us to put things together ahead of our wedding date. However, where Liv truly thrived was on the day of the wedding. If she was helpful in the lead up, she was truly indispensable in “running the show.” With all of the logistics involved in moving people between hotels, the ceremony venue, and the wedding venue (as well as a move indoors for the cocktail hour due to rain), Liv was on top of it and in complete command of the situation. She responded to urgent needs with a calm demeanor, clear and concise direction to associated parties, and a constant bent towards customer service. Our wedding day featured rain. A lot of rain. During the reception, which was under a tent in a field, Liv never stopped moving. She helped move people between locations, communicated with the caterer and DJ with ease, and insured that all of our guests were taken care of at every turn. My lasting image of Liv at the wedding is of her running between the catering and reception tents to cover our caterers with umbrellas as they carried the various courses to each table. Despite a downpour during dinner, everyone’s food was perfect and plates were dry. While this is just a microcosm of the work that she did for us on our wedding day, I believe that it encapsulates what makes Liv so good at what she does; she is the kind of go-getter that will do everything within her power to guarantee that your wedding day unfolds as you imagine, and she’ll do it with a smile, a laugh, and a kind word. I cannot recommend Liv Charron highly enough.

She was hugely helpful in managing communication with our vendors, including a complicated venue, and helped us anticipate and plan for all the small details, like making sure we had something to eat after the ceremony, helping with the layout of the different spaces, and even providing a steamer for my dress. We put our full faith in her abilities and she totally delivered--we highly recommend her!

We had requested Madison for Day of Coordination as we were planning a two-day interfaith wedding (Hindu on one day, Jewish the next). Although Madison was only responsible for coordinating the day of, she really went above and beyond all weekend and for the weeks leading up to it as well. She was amazing at keeping in touch with us and checking in with us weekly in the months leading up to our wedding weekend. She also was willing to meet with our families and address all questions and concerns so that we were as stress free as possible throughout the entire weekend. She was extremely organized throughout the weekend and worked well with our vendors so that we did not have to worry. We truly feel like she went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to have hired her for our wedding weekend. Cannot recommend her enough!

If you are anxious about planning a wedding, don't know where to begin, and are bad at confrontation then I would hire Katelynn as your wedding coordinator. It was single-handedly the best decision that my husband and I made when planning our wedding. She was able to guide us through the wedding planning process with absolutely zero judgement and the patience of a saint. She was able to give us choices on all our vendors with detailed breakdowns of the pricing so that we were able to make the best choices for us. She kept us on schedule so that we were meeting all of our deadlines and milestones on time, and she always kept a positive attitude. She even caught a price discrepancy with our venue, where they charged us more than the contracted price. We were able to talk to the venue about it and they corrected that mistake-saving us 1000. Her insider knowledge was invaluable and her experience shined throughout the entire process. Katelynn, in no small part, was the reason that we had the perfect wedding and I will sing her praises to anyone interested in getting a wedding coordinator. You don't have to look any further, she's the coordinator for you!

We found Cassie roughly 4 months before our wedding, when the panic started to sink in that there was no way for us to manage all the different pieces of wedding planning ourselves. Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

She went above and beyond. Always checking in communicating with me . Quick to respond! She lives in Boston and the wedding was in FL yet she was easily available if I needed. (That says a lot about her) I gave her A LOT of information and she remembered it all for the wedding. Best investment I made was hiring Before You Say I Do . She was super organized, thoughtful and experienced! There were things she knew to look out for that I hadn’t thought of. Annie truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. She is passionate and patient! Annie, I am so grateful that I found you thank you so much! There’s so much I can say on this but it be like writing a book. 10/10 recommend She also works with your budget and is willing to do a budget plan if needed!!

I can't say enough about this team! Best wedding decision my husband Brett and I made was to hire them on board to be our planners. I am a bit of a control freak and super picky, so at first I was not planning on hiring wedding planners because I wanted full control. They came recommended by a friend who knew them from an engagement shoot, and felt their personalities and experience would be a great match for us. One phone call later and I was all in - I realized how much I could benefit from them and make the wedding planning process so fun and enjoyable. We specifically worked with Allie who is amazing. She understood my vision and was SO easy to work with. The type of planners you want to be friends with and are as equally as excited for your wedding as you are! That was important to me. It's impossible not to love this team as they're all so kind, fun, personable, professional and get the job done so seamlessly. A true dream team!!! Allie is very organized, responsive, and gets to the point to get stuff done. She took on so many tasks and responsibilities, and always had an answer or solution to a problem. If we didn’t hear back from a certain vendor or get answers to certain questions in timely manner - she was persistent and got it done. Allie didn't skip a beat, she knew everything about the wedding day and how things were suppose to go - I felt at such ease knowing I had her and her team (and didn't have to rely on parents or wedding party for day of responsibilities) because CityLux truly did it all. I don't know how we could have done it without them. Our wedding day was so magical and went so smoothly. The whole team was running operations the day of - being everywhere at once, communicating with one another through their ear pieces, and going above and beyond for a perfect day to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. I didn't hear of any mishaps because they handled all the chaos and ensured Brett and I were having the best time and not having to stress about anything. The saddest part of wedding being over has been no longer working with Allie, Sarah, or their team! I want to plan another event just to be able to work with them again (which after a big wedding with lots of planning may sound crazy lol). Trust me, I may not have felt this way prior to having them, but after planning a 200 person wedding, with 10 vendors, and so many details - the most important vendor decision is your planner and I can’t recommend them enough!

Nene was our Day of Coordinator and helped us stay on track throughout the entire event. We put together a backyard wedding and Nene helped us to put together an entire schedule for the day. She became the point in contact of all of our vendors, and she helped control the flow of the crowd during this event. Where Nene shines is that everything I said Nene took control of unprompted. She never needed any direction and most of the time gave us ideas we did not initially think of. We were so lucky to have Nene on our side. She made our day special.

We hired Nightingale for Wedding Coordination as they came recommended by our venue and I just have to say: WOW. I had the HONOR of working with Rachel. I am a pretty organized person, so I was able to book vendors and get all the initial portion set up. The amount of work Rachel put in those last moments before the wedding is almost indescribable. Let me just tell you that I felt that Rachel had my back the entire time when did have some hiccups with a different vendor. Rachel took care of it and handled it so well. Leading up to the day, she had us thinking about things we would never consider thinking about. Since I have never planned a wedding before, Rachel was the expert and mastermind to pull everything together. When I was booking vendors, it was once one was done, I booked the next, but the last 1-2 months, you are talking to ALL of them it is a very daunting task. If I were to do it all over it again, I would rebook Nightingale in a heartbeat. The day-of was magical. Rachel was my bridesmaid, friend, and me all in one. She anticipated ALL my needs and was the voice of reason the whole day and night. Our groom gal, Amy, was there for us too and I swear, they all were so so helpful so that Mark and I could enjoy our day. We felt like guests at our own wedding. Our job was to enjoy the day and they made it happen beyond our expectations. We didn't interact too much with the third gal but thank you so much for setting up the details of the room so nicely! She makes the time for you, is super attentive, has an eye for detail and keeps a level head while navigating the real-time happenings and changes that come with any event. Even though we only hired Nicole as a day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond in helping in so many other ways in the lead up to our wedding day. We were pretty hands on in our planning, but Nicole always made thoughtful suggestions to help us push things along and fill in the gaps we were missing. She guided us on a work-back timeline and stayed in contact with us throughout all of the planning. She built out our day of timeline, which helped us fill in the gaps that we were forgetting/missing. If we could rewind, we would have chosen a full-on coordinator for all the planning and logistics vs just a day-of coordinator after experiencing how helpful Nicole was. It’s worth mentioning that Nicole had minor hand surgery in the months prior to our wedding, and even though she was healed up the day-of, she made sure nothing could possibly go wrong by enlisting her super kind husband to come along for the day to help out with setting up, which was above and beyond what we had signed up for. So you can feel confident that Nicole will deliver for you regardless of the situation! Another way Nicole went above and beyond… we were hoping to have candle holders for our reception tables. We were hesitant to purchase some ourselves due to the price and knowing we’d only use them one day, but Nicole offered up her own candle holders she had on hand, so we could have the vibe we envisioned. It’s that level of kindness and thoughtfulness that really makes a difference in the experience and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did. If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further than Nicole. Her wedding business is flourishing and we’re so happy to have worked with her!

Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!
