From planning my surprise engagement to our wedding Carice provided smooth communication, was very responsive and handled any issue that came up with any vendors. She was very flexible and thorough throughout the entire process. She had great vendor recommendations and an awesome checklist that made our wedding day as smooth as possible from photographer, florist, dj, etc. As the day of coordinator, Carice did not stop moving to ensure our day went as we wished, even when things occurred she handled them with grace. Michelle was very communicative through out the whole process of wedding planning. She was great with sharing ideas and helping me to find my style for my wedding. She was great with collaborating the wedding decor ideas with my vision and making it come to life. She is always putting in the time, energy and effort for all her clients. I admire the hard work and dediction she gives to her clients, because she is truly commited. She lives for her clients and puts them first. She is very available and ready for anything which I appeciated very much. Nights, weekends, holidays, it didn't matter. I also hired her as my florist and she did an amazing job with the flowers. Words do not begin to describe how incredible working with Brooke has been. We were originally having our wedding in St. Pete before finding out that our venue had cancelled less than 90 days before our date due to damages from the Hurricane. Brooke overextended herself and found multiple venues that were available for the same date knowing that was important to us. By the end of the week, she had set up multiple interviews which she attended and helped us secure our new venue at the Tampa EDITION which we ended up loving more than our original venue. Brooke was dependable and available whenever we had a question and kept open lines of communication. She is innovative and her organizational skills/attention to detail goes unmatched. She originally helped us plan a fun beach wedding and in less than three months pivoted to help us plan a formal affair. On our wedding day, Brooke and Ada did an amazing job with setting up the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces; we were in shock by how perfectly they enacted the vision we had in our heads for our wedding. During the wedding, they kept the timeline of events going and kept the vibes high while we were busying having an absolute blast with our friends and family. The audio guest book supplied by Brooke is an absolute must. Listening to everyone's messages a week after the wedding brought us so much joy and laughter; just imagine more chaotic messages as the drinks flow and the night progresses. We decided to include the photo booth last minute and am so happy we did as it was a complete hit with all of our guests throughout the entire night. Catering for this planner was challenging, but fulfilling. I'm based in a different state, but I offer a specific cultural Puerto Rican food that the family desired. Needless to say, they did their research for this family! I planned from a distance but I delivered what I needed to deliver. To me, the food was good and it had choices. Setting up to serve the food was a feat, but what made the difference serving it was the help from your the FWS staff. It reminded me why I love what I do, and I hope to work with them again. My daughter and I hired Chloe Deal to be our onsite day-of wedding planner and she was excellent before, during and after the big day! Pre-wedding, we had two zoom meetings to review what the plans were and what she would be doing to oversee it all. Chloe's communication assured us all the details would be completely taken care of on wedding day. The day of the wedding, we had a big surprise. An unexpected storm whipped up just as we were about to begin the outdoor ceremony. Chloe and her assistant quickly rallied to make last minute adjustments moving tables and displays under the reception tent, coordinating with the vendors on the change of plans and remained calm throughout it all. After a bit of insanity as our guests ran from the outdoor ceremony into the tent, Chloe and her assistant went into overdrive drying off chairs and getting them moved into the reception area which was a huge undertaking. The groomsmen were supposed to help but they were the only ones not under umbrellas and were absolutely soaked. Chloe easily helped guests find their seats and kept us all on schedule with the reception events of introductions, dances, happy hour, dinner, cake cutting, send off photos etc. Post wedding, we had to be all cleaned up by 9am the next day so the night of the wedding, Chloe and her assistant moved heavy tree log displays back to the woods, put everything that we needed to save into our cars or the locked space until we could pick it up the next day. Chloe's performance as our wedding planner was truly impressive as she thought of every detail and despite the unexpected weather, my daughter and son-in-law had a truly magical day complete with double rainbows! I would highly recommend her services to any bride and groom to-be!

Macy is so kind, thoughtful, organized, communicative, and took away all of our stress leading up to the wedding day by being so organized and prepared! She coordinated with the different vendors to ensure a timeline was created and distributed for when each would arrive. I didn’t have to worry about a thing except for confirming details for her. She made sure the wedding party and our parents were at the right spots at the right time throughout the evening and helped keep guests contained during cocktail hour so we could step away with the photographer for photos. She even assisted with clean up and helped pack dessert for us to take and enjoy later! Macy is by far irreplaceable in our eyes, we cannot recommend her enough! Caitlyn did an amazing job with my wedding florals. She worked with me on what I wanted, communicated with me on when she was making things and sent pictures of the progress along the way to make sure everything was turning out how I envisioned it. She let me know as soon as she shipped it, sent me the tracking information and even checked in with me a couple days after I received it to make sure it had gotten to me okay and I was pleased with everything! My husband and I got married this past September at the Omni Grove Park Inn, and they require a wedding planner. At the time I didn’t realize just how invaluable a wedding planner was. I started looking around for Asheville planners, and came across The Planning. After reading a bunch of amazing reviews and reaching out for a quote, we chose them. We decided to do the month out package as that fit our needs, and we were so blessed to be given Kylie as our main wedding planner and correspondent. Like most brides, although super excited, I was also feeling very overwhelmed and experienced a lot of anxiety leading up to the wedding, especially since we were planning a wedding in another city (we’re from Nashville). From our first phone call with Kylie, she eased my fears and made me feel relaxed and even more excited about our wedding than I originally had been. I completely trusted her. I looked forward to our weekly phone calls starting the month before the wedding, not just because we were getting more things in order, but because I genuinely loved talking to her as well. My parents, who honestly were both skeptical about the need for a wedding planner, were quickly won over and at the end of wedding weekend were wondering how they ever thought it was possible to go without one. Because our venue was a pretty large one and because we had about 135 guests we needed an extra planner, so we ended up having the help of both Kylie and Autumn (who was also incredible) wedding weekend. They were there for our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and all day/night on the day of the wedding right up until we got in our getaway car, and I don’t know what we would have done without them. They helped us figure out the layout of the ceremony, helped everyone understand when to walk, etc, kept track of all of my belongings, kept us on a timeline for the day and night (which was very important for a big group like ours), coordinated with all of our other vendors, helped me make decisions I hadn’t even realized I needed to make, and so much more. Kylie and Autumn were both so kind, organized, level headed, and just fun to be around. They were both so professional and knew when to get down to business, but being around them still felt like being around good friends. Everyone loved them. Both of our families are very large so as you can imagine there was a LOT going on - many different personalities, many opportunities for us all to get distracted - and they handled all of the chaos so well and took everything in stride. Any issues we ran into they quickly and carefully handled. Also, once I got to the altar and we were in the middle of saying our vows, I realized I had left my engagement ring in a public bathroom on the floor we got ready in while I was fixing my dress…after the ceremony Kylie sprinted upstairs and found my ring and quickly became a hero to both my husband and I haha. All of this to say, we could not have had our beautiful wedding weekend without the help of Kylie, Autumn, and The Planning. We could not have had better wedding planners and wouldn’t do anything differently. If you don’t think you need a wedding planner, I can assure you that you probably do, and if you are thinking about hiring them, you should!! The Planning is an amazing business. We wish we could do it all over just so we could hang out with everyone again!
