Tivoli Student Union is a historically beautiful and unique building on the Auraria Campus. Built in 1870 by German-born Mortz Sigi, the Tivoli was originally part of the Colorado Brewery. In 1901 is became the Tivoli Union Brewery, named after the famous amusement park in Copenhagen. The Tivoli houses a variety of spaces that can accommodate groups both small and large for business meetings, training sessions, lectures, conferences, and a variety of social gatherings, from intimate celebrations to weddings. The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. The Dickens Opera House, a venue located in Longmont, Colorado, harbors a rich history and legacy from its beginnings in 1881. William Henry Dickens, who originally built the opera house, obtained the land through his father who was given the land by Ulysses S. Grant. Not only does this land have ties to President Grant, but also to the author Charles Dickens, who was related to William Henry Dickens.
