Hillside sits where the Wet Mountain Valley meets the magnificent Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado. Our barn was originally built in 1861 in Northern Indiana. We moved and rebuilt it in Howard, Colorado (just 15 minutes outside of Salida, CO) in 2019 to become a rustic yet elegant backdrop to wedding celebrations. We offer an intimate space for your guests for your ceremony and reception. Our 1890’s 11 acre property is an active farm complete with honey bees, growing hops, hay pastures and more. We are located on the Arkansas River. Our gorgeous views of the 13,000 foot Twin Sister peaks of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range are the perfect backdrop for your I Do’s.

Illuminations at Arrow Vista Ranch is a rustic outdoor wedding venue located in Hartsel, Colorado. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, this property promises stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside. Illuminations is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and wildflowers. The venue runs off solar and wind power, making it the perfect venue for environmentally conscious couples. A dedicated cocktail area is available, complete with bistro lighting. Couples have use of Illuminations at Arrow Vista Ranch for 14 hours on the day of their wedding. This plan also offers benches for up to 120 guests during the ceremony, as well as a quaint log arch. Various round tables are supplied for receptions and cocktail hours. Couples and their loved ones will stay comfortable whatever the weather with the ranch's tube heaters. Our outdoor grassy field area will accommodate large or small weddings up to 200. With all the beautiful surrounding views, it truly makes for a lovely and special outdoor event. Black Forest Meadows offers a story book setting with a bridal changing room in the Main Barn, the Forest Pavilion, Great Lawn and Grassy Knoll for your ceremony & reception, views of Pikes Peak and Alpacas!

The Venue at Flying Horse Ranch was built as a private vacation home in 2005 before Flying Horse Ranch purchased it and transformed it into an exclusive wedding venue in the middle of 1,400 acres of rolling Colorado landscape. The Venue includes multiple ceremony sites (indoor and outdoor), a luxurious Bridal Suite, en entertaining Groom's Quarters, an elegant Ballroom, a Natural Wood Barn, a Breathtaking patio, and plenty of Landscape for all your photography needs.

Hillside Colorado: Cottages, Weddings & Events is a park and outdoor wedding venue set in the historic township of Hillside, Colorado. Nestled on 9 acres, Hillside Colorado: Cottages, Weddings & Events features a grove of historic black willow trees. You can say 'I do' in the meadow underneath the canopy of 100-year-old trees. Combined with the flowing brook, these details create a magical setting for you to celebrate your love. After the ceremony, you can head over to Hillside Hall to enjoy a meal and dance the night away. The space features vaulted ceilings, a classic stage, vintage clapboard walls, antique oaken floors, and exposed timbers. You can host events of around 100 guests in this location. If you're hosting a larger gathering, you can add a tent to the property.
