From the moment we booked Above The Block for our wedding venue, the staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. They helped us find incredible vendors like our photographer and florist, and were able to provide us with a luxurious, hotel-like experience at a fraction of the cost of a traditional hotel wedding venue. The space had a beautiful, urban yet cozy feel, and our guests raved about the high-end decor and amenities. The lighting is magical at night with the grotto pool changing colors and the twinkle lights in the trees. Feels like you're in a fairytale. Because of the special ambiance, The Enchanted Manor is chosen for many kinds of themed events.

We were looking for a unique venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. The playhouse was a great place that the kids could escape to to watch TV while their parents enjoyed the party. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) I appreciated her communication and patience walking me through things - planning a wedding myself was a task that was draining on me! One thing I didn’t realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn’t do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I’d like confetti, but she explained why she doesn’t allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn’t enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. We’ve started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn’t feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can’t wait to start reading her book. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

We had the most wonderful tiny wedding in the East Room and the patio! My fiancé and I were looking for a venue that felt intimate, but that was in Downtown LA and had a private outdoor space, and the East Room met our criteria. We had a small 8-person luncheon, and it was exactly the experience we wanted: wonderful food and truly amazing service. The room itself was gorgeous, with really beautiful tile floors and a long counter. The patio was also very picturesque with views of DTLA, and we had a bar outside as well. We ran slightly late because of photos/congratulations from family, and the Redbird team was incredibly understanding and we never felt rushed. The meal was also coursed perfectly and everyone loved all of the food served. The events team at Redbird was also great to work with in the planning stages. I had originally planned to keep our ceremony/lunch VERY simple (i.e. wasn’t even planning flowers), and the Redbird team went above and beyond to help me find the perfect flower arrangements and even made a tiny cake to cut. They were easy to work with and super responsive to calls/emails, and were great about follow-ups. I would highly recommend Redbird - and the East Room - for smaller weddings. We had such a wonderful ceremony, and the Redbird team really helped us look beyond our original vision to something even better. Thank you so much!

We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: This multi-purpose room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Features a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass that provide views of the courtyard.

It was a wonderful Venue, and Cassandra answered all the questions we had (we had to be sure of everything so we didn't mess up , so sorry ). The plaza and stage is a great spot , we also had the community room but felt like we didn't actually need that much. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this location. Many many thanks to staff for putting up with us, We are so Grateful and Thankful.

Built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a fish and oyster company, an ice cream factory, and a commercial site for everything from far east imports to marijuana cultivation. This quirky history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible Marvimon was as a wedding venue. 
We had the wedding of our literal dreams — an all day affair that took place in both Valentine and Grass Room.

 Dana (Event Director) deserves every award there is in the wedding/event category. We opted out of a wedding planner because we were pretty confident in putting it together ourselves but of course there was A LOT to figure out and hurdles faced along the way. But thanks to Dana and Marvimon’s phenomenal team, the end result was truly magical. Between the organization, attention to detail, genuine care, and the list of unbelievable, pre-approved vendors (including a BIPOC, women-owned, and queer specific list which is where we primarily sourced everything) we didn’t realize that we not only got the venue of our dreams but the support it came with was extremely valuable. Not to mention the beautiful furniture, foliage and overall interior aesthetic that was there which removed any need for renting additional pieces. Weddings are exciting but everyone who has planned or is in the middle of planning one knows they are massively stressful. That said, the Marvimon team (ESPECIALLY DANA) didn’t have us worried at all. They were one of the biggest reasons we were at ease and confident things were going to run smoothly which I’m happy to report they did with flying rainbow colors! 100/10 CANNOT recommend enough! 
(We are already thinking about our vow renewal party at one of their other venue spaces - true story)

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.

What a beautiful and amazing space to work at as a photographer. My photo and video team couldn't get enough of the aesthetic that makes Savanna a one of a kind rooftop. It has simple beautiful views of the downtown city scape. Every part and detail of this venue is simply stunning.

The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Located in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the Arts District, Millwick is convenient to many of the best new and historic hotels, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.

Dana, Clare, and Anika have been amazing from start to finish. When touring at venues to see which one we wanted to have our wedding at, Millwick hands down felt like home that even other Marvimon venues did not compare to this one which gave my husband and I the instant feeling. The price is solid for the amount of space and venue offering that you get. The fact that it comes with tables and chairs and a lot of furniture, a onsite kitchen, Site Managers, the best support you can get, some in house DJ offerings, and a bunch of other stuff. The Marvimon staff is top notch. They jump straight into helping you in any way they can and they do the most stellar job. We loved that they were so down to earth, understanding, and patient with us. They made us feel right at home. The great thing about Millwick is you do not need to dress up the venue much with all the greenery, its the perfect vibe you need for an intimate wedding celebration, it was definitely vibes for sure! There are so many amazing features about Millwick that I can go on and on but one thing that is a must is if you book Millwick you can hot iron brand press and mark your memory at the outdoor bar and it will be there forever! We did that during our design meeting with Clare and our wedding coordinator and it was so much fun, that on our wedding day our guests got to see it when they were waiting for their drinks, even our dog took a picture with it! Another unique thing is that they have a magnet wall for the seating chart and we used that to make polarid magnets of all our guests which was a huge hit! You can customize the image you want displayed on the projector or play videos, photos, etc. as well! Millwick allows your vision and creativity to come to life and the sky is the limit. Whatever you are envisioning, share it with Clare, Dana, and your wedding coordinator and they will be there to support you every step of the way and give you great tips! Their preferred vendors are seriously the best ever!! Majority of mine were from their list and they really made my wedding exceed all of my expectations, my husband and I both had one of the best night of our life because of Millwick, the Marvimon team, and all our amazing vendors who made our vision come to life to a whole another level of perfection!! Thank you Millwick!! We can't wait to visit you again!

Guests were blown away by the modern elegance of St. Anthony's. The coordinators were amazing and so accommodating. I truly cannot recommend St. Anthony's enough!

Last October my son got married in down town LA. Grooms side from NY & Brides side from Dallas. Our family and friends all stayed at the Hoxton downtown. We ate, drank and partied for 4 days. The hotel and staff were generous and accommodating in every way. The good bye Sunday brunch was warm and comfortable, I felt as if I was home. The food was remarkable. If I need a hotel in LOS ANGELES I would stay at the Hoxton every time.

We were so grateful to find an affordable venue in DTLA that had an exterior space for a ceremony interior space for wedding event. The bonus was that the space came with rustic farm tables, chairs, basic lighting & string lights, bar, and pipe and drape. After looking for months - nowhere else in the city offered the value and the wow-factor that Seventh Place did. The staff was attentive, detailed, and thoughtful. Highly recommend to attended one of their open houses, or see if you can take a tour while an event is being setup, that way you can see the space in use. The staff provided sample floor plans for researching how best to use the layout effectively. Things to consider: no kitchen, but if your caterer can prep/heat elsewhere, a buffet style or cooked outside on mobile kitchen worked perfectly. The greenery/ivy is breathtaking on camera - but beware, certain times of year the ivy drips/rains droplets of sticky sap. Not an issue but be mindful of dresses/suits standing beneath it. Parking was easy, load in/out was very easy as well. The space was turn-key, with everything setup as requested when we arrived.

The Revery really is a dream of a venue. I call it, a hidden oasis! Conceptually, I wanted to create a speakeasy bar-like wedding and the revery was the perfect space for that. Anyone walking down the street in the industrial area would least expect to walk into such a transformative space -- I loved how unique the locale was, and loved even more how beautiful the outdoor veranda was. The clean, white interiors act as a blank canvas to design and utilize the space in endless ways. At the time, the indoor construction wasn't fully complete, but I took the risk and booked the site anyway, and am so glad that I did. My husband and I held a 100 person wedding in the fall renting the outdoor veranda, and it was absolutely perfect. Monica, the founder, was incredibly attentive and accommodating - I really appreciated her attention to detail, as she made sure the space was seamless for wedding day. I am hopeful to celebrate more milestones in this space, as it holds such value and is so special to me. I have every confidence that this dream of a place will be loved and favored by many. I promise, you won't be disappointed!

A fire the building survived in the 1980s left a stunning black patina across the historic brick walls. An open staircase leads up to a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine above the main level. Large dramatic barn doors open up to the gorgeous outdoor courtyard with a planted garden, industrial deco fountain, and bistro lighting, the perfect space for an al fresco dining experience.

The Huron Substation was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the staff was prompt, thorough, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. Their attention to detail and willingness to collaborate with our other vendors ensured our special day ran seamlessly. The venue itself is simply stunning - the historic architecture and character of the space made it feel like the ideal backdrop for our celebration. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful and unique the Huron Substation was. The combination of the indoor and outdoor areas allowed us to transition effortlessly from the ceremony to the reception. Working with the Ebell was an absolute joy, every single person we interacted with was professional, kind, funny, and most importantly, cared so deeply about our special day. I’d be remiss not to mention our coordinator, Katie, who I could not extend enough gratitude to if I tried. If location and people weren’t enough, our food and drinks were actually insane. Two months after our wedding, we are still getting compliments on the food. Finally, the banquet staff, the real stars of the day itself, were remarkable. Such professionalism and poise that you could only expect from a place that looks like the Ebell. Truly an absolutely incredible experience, a dream come true.

Casita is a beautiful and versatile venue. We were very comfortable with 150+ guests, a mobile wood fired pizza oven, gelato cart, DJ & a bar. The courtyard is open and classic looking with a beautiful fountain to which we decorated with greenery and tea lights. The staff was an absolute pleasure to work with and very accommodating.
