It offers a unique, rustic, eclectic charm in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown, Los Angeles. A growing artistic and cultured community surrounds it, just steps away from Little Tokyo, Japanese Village, and Southern California Institute of Architecture. This impressive, seventy-five year old, urban interior space consists of bow truss 14 ft. high ceilings, vintage architecture with exposed brick, large windows, and skylights.

This impressive, seventy-five-year-old, urban interior space consists of bow truss 14 ft. high ceilings, vintage architecture with exposed brick, large windows, and skylights. With 5,000 sq. ft., Seventh Place is an intimate space, which can accommodate up to 800 standing guests, 625-chair seating, and a 400 table seating capacity.

    We were so grateful to find an affordable venue in DTLA that had an exterior space for a ceremony interior space for wedding event. The bonus was that the space came with rustic farm tables, chairs, basic lighting & string lights, bar, and pipe and drape. After looking for months - nowhere else in the city offered the value and the wow-factor that Seventh Place did. The staff was attentive, detailed, and thoughtful. Highly recommend to attended one of their open houses, or see if you can take a tour while an event is being setup, that way you can see the space in use. The staff provided sample floor plans for researching how best to use the layout effectively. Things to consider: no kitchen, but if your caterer can prep/heat elsewhere, a buffet style or cooked outside on mobile kitchen worked perfectly. The greenery/ivy is breathtaking on camera - but beware, certain times of year the ivy drips/rains droplets of sticky sap. Not an issue but be mindful of dresses/suits standing beneath it. Parking was easy, load in/out was very easy as well. The space was turn-key, with everything setup as requested when we arrived.

    Seventh Place was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were always available when I had questions and concerns, and made the planning process so easy. The space was absolutely gorgeous when I first saw it - I knew this was where our wedding needed to be. On the day of, they made sure everything was set up perfectly and provided such a fun atmosphere for our guests. The team at Seventh Place contributed so much to making our special day truly memorable.

    My husband and I were married at Seventh Place this past August and they were so easy to work with! The entire team was extremely accommodating. Special shout to Ani - we had many questions throughout planning and she was patient with us through the entire process. The space was perfect for what we envisioned and I wish we could re-live the day over and over again.

    We LOVE Seventh Place! I would shout this from a rooftop if given the chance! From the moment we toured the venue, to when we coordinated to book, to walking through with our in-house coordinator, and finally to walking into our wedding... everyone was immaculate. The team's warmth and kindness lives in the walls of the space. Each word of communication was filled with support and flexibility and joy. I told everyone I could that our experience with Seventh Place was completely positive from start to finish. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us how "perfect" the venue was - open but cozy, industrial but warm, unique and comfortable! We beamed with pride. We cannot sing the praises highly enough about this spectacular space and even more spectacular TEAM! Our day wouldn't have been as special as it was without the whole Seventh Place team!
