Calamigos Ranch

The Redwood room is the most historic site on Calamigos ranch. Rustic charm flows from the 100-year-old weeping willows and the growing vines of our malibu wine country. The storied oak trees, soothing waterfalls, and flagstone pathways all create an endearing environment for your special day. Guests are seated on garden chairs of the ceremony lawn and are shaded by a canopy of redwoods and eucalyptus trees. Inside the lodge, you are welcomed by a natural stone fireplace greeting your friends and family with its flickering warmth. The stone wall fireplace was the original fireplace in the main lodge house before the fires destroyed the building in the 1970’s.

Nestled in the heart of Malibu wine country, Calamigos ranch is the only destination for weddings both whimsical, and elegant. A secluded little meadow ringed by trees and natural landscaping. Couples tie the knot on an earthen terrace beneath a majestic spreading oak, or next to a clear pond at the base of a river rock waterfall. Dining and dancing takes place under an elegant white tent draped with sheer fabric and enhanced by twinkle lights.

The birchwood room is nestled between a majestic natural waterfall, and breathtaking 100 year old weeping willows. Ceremonies are held with the backdrop of a limestone waterfall on an intimate grass meadow. Guests make their way up to the Ranch House reception area surrounded by oak trees and private outdoor patios draped with twinkling lights. Dine alfresco under the stars or choose to flow into the intimate dining room. The Ranch House the most intimate location, perfect for summer sunsets, and evening affairs.

Backdropped by natural stone waterfalls and set apart by a symbolic bridge, you will walk across a calming pond to begin your ceremony. If quiet elegance is what you desire this location is your picture perfect. Across the pond from your ceremony site is your reception area with natural light filtering from the 360 degree French oak doors. Inside, gather under exposed beams, cascading twinkle lights and rustic iron chandeliers. Anchoring the picturesque reception area is a warm river rock fireplace setting the ambiance for your closest friends and family.
