The team at Standing Rock Farms, LLC was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

I don’t even have the words to say how perfect our wedding was at sun valley!! All the employees were so helpful and communicative leading up to our day. Hallie ended up being our month of coordinator and she was PHENOMENAL. I mean it, if you have the funds, hire a coordinator!!! But the grounds were beautiful, my guests were blown away, the size was perfect for my 115 guests, but could accommodate way more if needed. Book this venue!!

My husband Noah and I were married at the Yellow House last year. We live in Charlotte, NC but our families are from Erie. I had never heard of the house before, but was tipped off by a relative. The property was recently renovated, and was brand new to the wedding market. I’ve been to my fair share of venues in the Erie area, but this one really stood out. There’s nothing quite like it. It’s absolutely beautiful and completely unique. We had such a memorable night, and some of our guests are still talking about it! The venue gets two thumbs up. I would recommend it to anybody!

The Madison was God sent! Literally! I was planning this wedding out of state and was super nervous, on top of that I'm not a great planner. Daryl and team made the process so simple and seamless. I couldn't thank this venue more. Even the day of, Daryl and team, continued to check on me to see if I needed anything. I was so grateful! Price point was great, venue is beautiful for pics, customer service was incredible. I'd rate them 10 stars if I could!

I Have had the privilege to work with the Ariel Centers for several years now. Their venues are gorgeous and are considered to be premier centers in the Cleveland area. The best perk couples get when they choose one of the Ariel centers is getting to work with one of their coordinators. All of them are knowledgeable, experienced and focused on creating the perfect wedding day for their clients. They also work hand in hand with all the vendors to ensure that everything goes according to schedule and the couples every need is met!

The stunning Ariel Pearl Center, a hidden jewel in the heart of Old Brooklyn! Located in a beautiful historic 1923 bank building, it features marble columns and floors, bank vaults, stone walls, large arched windows under an intricate decorative plaster work ceiling with magnificent crystal chandeliers. This stunning historic building was built in 1923 as the Pearl Street Savings & Trust Bank, which was designed by the famous architects Hubbell and Benes, who also designed the Cleveland Museum of Art, West Side Market, City Club, Masonic Temple and other famous historic buildings. The first floor of the Ariel Pearl Center has been converted to a beautiful event center which includes the Grand Hall with Rotunda and Vault, Cocktail Room, and Fireplace Room.

I originally had a different venue which ended up shutting down which put me at a very stressful place. After meeting with Tracey I felt like not only was the venue gorgeous but my mind could be at ease because she was on my side. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed and never put aside. Once our special day arrived it was as smooth as could be, even with covid restrictions. They worked closely with the health department and all of the precautions were applied. I highly recommend to anyone especially if you want a venue with a unique and elegant look!!

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. (If you know of Lakewood, you know parking is a hot commodity)

Lake Erie Building is the perfect venue if you want to decorate your space exactly as you want it! Having early access to the space days before the wedding was worth its weight in gold. And the “bones” of the space are stunning. The venue coordinator, Hannah, was great to work with too. She gave us great recommendations for vendors and insight into the planning process. The reason for the 4 stars for the clarity of communication is because the contract had some inaccurate information, which I found annoying because I’m a “rules” person. But I can’t recommend this venue enough!!

We had a great private party at The Hall at St. James. Clay was great to work with and helped line up catering and a photographer. The space had plenty of outlets and allowed us "to make it our own" with color LED lights on the walls and taking advantage of their ceiling-mounted projectors to create a fun dance floor.

My husband and I initially wanted to elope. That is, until, we found this space. If you want your wedding day to feel like an absolute dream, while still being intimate and beautiful, you need to book CoLab. We had our ceremony there, and it was perfection from start to finish. Maureen is truly everything—she was with us every step of the way, making sure everything was just right and exactly what we wanted and hoped for. She handled every curveball and question with total grace. The space itself is gorgeous. It's airy while still being moody. There are so many beautiful details around the space that make for a perfect backdrop. The decor adds so much to the space without taking away from your event. CoLab is gorgeous but I truly believe that it’s Maureen that makes it special. She genuinely cares about her clients, and it shows. I felt like I had a close friend there for me as we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, which is exactly what you want and need. Someone in your corner, hyping you up, and bringing the kindest presence to the day. Even if you opt out of her being there for you day-of, know that everything she does behind the scenes before the event is worth the cost and then some. If you want a ceremony spot that feels like a cozy, beautiful home for your big day, this is it. And if you’re on the fence—just do it. You’ll thank me later! (If you're doing ceremony-only at CoLab, I'd recommend that you book the extra lounge space, trust me! We booked both spaces and it made for such a seamless day and gave folks a place to mignle and chat before and after the ceremony!)
