Not only are all of the members extremely talented, but they played an awesome combination of songs that we love dearly from artists like Phish, Jimi Hendrix & Talking Heads. Once we met John and the rest of the band, we knew their personalities meshed so well with ours and it was the perfect match. They were extremely easy to work with when we planned out our song list and gave us great recommendations. When it came to the actual wedding day we were blown away! Not only did they do an awesome job on the songs we requested, they added some more that they felt would keep the party going. We still get comments on how awesome our band was to this day. We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later everyone is still talking about how great our band was. They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and you should seriously consider booking your venue around whether or not THC is available. That's not hyperbole - they were that good.”

They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. I can’t say I wasn’t nervous, as they didn’t have any reviews posted yet, but Jon was very helpful in addressing all our concerns and they kept our guests entertained and dancing all night long! They learned our first dance song- Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves and put their own flair to it, which we loved. They are such a fun mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and played a good mix of songs for all ages. I would also recommend listening to some of their original songs and including them in your day, my husband and I were so happy we did. :) I want to have another wedding just so we can have them play again!”
