  • Starts at $3,700

After 10 years of shooting I can tell you happily that I still think I somehow got away with having the best job in the world. I adore being able to photograph the moments of life that make it worth living. Weddings, birth, family, there are concentrated amounts of love in these moments and being able to give someone a way to hold on to that visually is absolutely wonderful.

Christy is a true professional - she is meticulous, creative, and a master of her craft. She captured my husband and I so authentically for both our engagement and wedding photos. She and her team were responsive, professional and accommodating from start to finish. Christy remained calm and composed despite the summer heat, family chaos, and various photo requests throughout the night. She made us the priority and ensured we felt comfortable and taken care of. We intend to hire her a million more times for life events worth capturing! Can’t recommend her enough.

I’m Jackie- Your guide to planning a unique, customized elopement day experience anywhere in the world. While I am based in Southern California, I help couples all over the world plan and execute their dream elopements. I help you through the process step-by-step with location recommendations, local vendor recommendations, excursion and activity ideas, timeline planning, and more. You can find more about adventure elopements and myself + get in touch with me about your elopement vision through my website!

My husband and I had initially planned to do the big wedding thing, but after I came across Jackie I was SOLD on the idea of eloping somewhere beautiful & forgetting everything else. Photos meant more to me than anything else going in and jackie is worth every penny we’ve spent with her. She helped us completely plan the best day ever and I couldn’t imagine having done it without her expertise. I had no clue about permits, where to start with choosing a location, etc. and she went above and beyond to send me a customized list of recommendations on locations + info on each (I would love never even thought of most of them), ideas of things to include, how to customize our day, etc. I could go on and on, but long story short we are just so grateful that we came across Wild Honey Photo and she walked us through planning our elopement and made sure we had the best day ever and the photos to last a lifetime. I can’t wait to receive my album and wall prints- Thank you again Jackie!!

Tori Parker Photography

5.0

  • Starts at $2,900
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

Although Tori lives on the east coast, her art & lifestyle is largely inspired by the west coast. Tori grew up just outside Los Angeles and her art reflects the airy, relaxed and purposeful atmosphere that exists in the Golden State. The Tori Parker team intends for their photos to reflect a similar air: relaxed but with a powerful undertone of golden hour hues and genuine joy. When Tori isn't taking photos or managing her amazing team of associate photoghers, she enjoys intentional time with Jesus, watching New Girl with her husband, being outdoors with her dogs, and eating the spiciest thing on the menu.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tori and her team since 2020. Every time one of our couples books with TPP, I know they are going to be in the BEST hands. Watching Tori grow her business over the last few years has been an honor and a joy. She leads her team with such grace and all of her associate shooters are so kind and talented. Tori works with such intentionality and it comes through in every gallery she delivers. I will continue to recommend her for as long as she is in business!

Nick Cruz Photography, LLC

5.0

  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

My parents don’t have professional photos of their wedding. It’s ironic being that I photograph weddings for a living. Long story short, my Grandfather hired a distant cousin as their wedding photographer, his customer service was beyond subpar and pricing was vague. He eventually went out of business and apparently took the photos down with him. It’s a sad story but it is something that fuels my mission as a wedding photographer. To give my clients a memorable experience from the first Zoom meeting to the delivery of their gallery and beyond.

Nick is such a fabulous photographer -- he captured every big and little moment of our special day. He put us at ease and made us feel comfortable on a nerve-wreaking and exciting day. The photos are some of my favorite of my entire life. He's amazing!

Natalie Schutt Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,900

Hi you guys, my name's Natalie, & I'm so glad you're here! I’m a joy-filled, Southern California surfer girl who is in love with capturing weddings.  My style? It’s timeless, romantic, adventuresome, & personal. I’m dedicated to capturing fine elegance + raw beauty all the while keeping it real + being authentic. Your job is to be in love & live in that excitement with each other. My job is to make it easy + enjoyable for you two to be yourselves, 100%, as I frame and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments in a way that only my mind can. Congratulations to you both! Looking forward to getting to know each other! xx Natalie

Natalie is the most professional, genuine, and talented wedding photographer. I promise you that you cannot and simply will not find a lovelier, more generous, or more brilliant person to help you sidestep stress and make the wedding planning process and wedding day a joy. At our wedding, three different people asked me if I'd later share her contact information with them for whenever they got married. Just think about that for a moment: three people were so blown away by Natalie's warmth, energy, and beautiful, bubbly personality that they would hire her on the spot without having yet seen her stunning work and even though they weren't engaged. Natalie's smile brightens up an entire room, and she has a truly remarkable way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. She'll make you laugh, she'll keep your energy up, she'll capture the moments you dreamed would one day hang on your walls, and most of all, she will make you feel like your day, your marriage, and your love are the center of the entire world. This gift of her presence and love is extraordinary, and I promise you that it extends beyond anything you could ever hope or expect to receive from any wedding vendor. I cried when she sent us our photos because they are so profoundly beautiful and so full of the true emotion that she naturally drew from even the most reserved of our family members. Every photo was so natural and full of light and joy. Natalie has so much talent, and if you're one of her brides you'll quickly realize how lucky you are to have someone care so deeply about you and about capturing your special day. Before our wedding, Natalie spoke with me over email and on the phone, sent a thoughtful questionnaire to help us articulate our aesthetic and photography hopes, sent a quick engagement gift, and even checked in over text to make sure I was doing well the week before the wedding. After the wedding, she sent cute thank you gifts and GORGEOUS photos (you will love yours too!). But my favorite memory will always be from our wedding day when she took a moment to dance with my shy 5 year old nephew and draw him out of his shell so he could enjoy the party. The huge smile on his face will always be one of my most precious moments of our wedding day. My nephew, like so many of our guests, still ask about Natalie all the time. It was a pleasure to work with Natalie and to get to know her, and I hope you too will be fortunate to experience Natalie's light, love, and unparalleled talent.

Jonathan Moore Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

My name is Jonathan Moore. I am a Los Angeles based wedding photographer and available worldwide. I'll get right to it: The very last thing I want is for you to think of your experience with me as a "photoshoot." I think that posed "prom" photos are totally lame and reflect absolutely nothing unique about you or your partner. After all, you are not actors pretending to be "in love," so why should your images reflect that? At the core, your images should ultimately remind you of why you fell in love in the first place. This is what we're celebrating!

Awarded Best of Zola
Jonathan Moore is an absolute dream to work with! Besides the fact that his images are fantastic, he is a true professional in every way. I appreciate that Johnathan captures the true essence of an event with his images: from the candid shots, to décor shots, to the more formal shots. He works well with people, works great under stressful elements, he communicates, is reliable, creative ... and overall, fun to be around. As an event coordinator, Jonathan makes my job easy! I wish I could say that about all photographers.

Hi, my name is Alexandra Marie and I LOVE capturing love and freezing your memory forever. Getting to know you guys and hearing how you met is one of my favorite things ever. I understand the importance of preserving your memories and making them last a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Alexandra and her Sister Michele for a wedding their package came with a complimentary engagement session. We met Alexandra for the first time. Our first impression is as soon as she started talking she made us feel at ease. She took charge of the session, posing and directing us in many ways. My husband isn't the type to want to do photos ever and she had him smiling the entire time. By the end of our engagement session, it felt like we had known her for years. Fast forward to our wedding day, everything was going wrong. When Alexandra arrives she notices my face and right away goes and takes charge. She directed all the vendors to where they needed to be she made sure no one bugged me as I was getting ready. The entire night they were capturing everything without being asked. they made sure that we had pictures with almost every single guest. they took almost 4000 photos and provided them all to use edited within 3 months. They didn't charge us extra most of my friends were surprised when I shared that with them as most photographers charge extra after so many edits. I highly recommend them both they make it so easy to talk to and the booking process was really easy. I am forever grateful I had them capture our day. Gave us so many memories to look back on

The Hendrys

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,700
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

We're Sarah and Darren—nice to meet you! We are LA transplants originally from Scotland and we're been in the wedding photography game for a while (almost 14 years to be exact!). We are not your typical cookie cutter wedding photographers, that is for certain! We go against the usual grain, and that’s exactly how we like it to roll. Normal is boring. Well, for us, at least.

We're actually rating The Hendrys one trillion stars out of five because they are "out of this world" amazing photographers and you should stop reading this review and book them ASAP! If you're still reading though, let us break down our perfect experience with them: They were recommended to us by our venue (Valentine DTLA) and we fell in LOVE with them as soon as we saw their website! Their portfolio and "about me" won us over because we were looking for wedding photographers who could capture the in-between moments, do some fun stylized shots, and be just as fun and goofy as we are! We reached out over the website and heard back from them immediately over email. Their super funny, yet professional personality came through and that got us so excited to work with them! They were also open to us asking as many questions as we wanted (especially when it came to the contract), which made us feel even more comfortable! We then got to meet them over ZOOM where we broke down how the day would go, they asked us what kind of pictures we were looking for, and we just got to know each other. We honestly may have become best friends with them as we couldn't stop talking to them about everything and anything for 2 hours. After that, we knew we were gonna be in the best hands, but we could never have ever imagined how perfect they really would be! When it finally came to the wedding day, The Hendrys went above and beyond! They were extremely professional as they kept us on schedule while experimenting with different types of photos (using a Fish Eye Lens, prisms, neon lights, etc.). They knew how to make everything feel super relaxed and fun and just let us do whatever was natural to us no matter what kind of photo it was. While we were losing it over the fact we just got married, The Hendrys just let us take everything in while politely directing us for photos. When we weren't doing staged photos, they were out of sight, but taking stunning photographs of everything that was happening in between. They were like ninjas as they would disappear and then reappear and grab us for the next shoot! It really was so cool! A few weeks after the wedding, we received our photos in record time and they were the COOLEST PHOTOS EVER (which you can see attached to this review)! We cannot thank The Hendrys enough for their hilarious stories, non-stop professionalism, unwavering kindness & selflessness, and being true magicians with their cameras and artistic vision. We couldn't be more grateful for everything that they did and we feel like the luckiest married couple in the world thanks to them! Now quit reading this review and go be the next luckiest married couple in the world and book The Hendrys! They're worth every single penny! - The D'Elia's

I'm a caretaker by nature. (Enneagram fan? I'm a 2w3) I love to laugh and am often told I have a calming presence. My friends tell me I have a huge heart and am a good listener. Except my husband says I am a horrible listener but I think that's just to him! I love cats, craft beer, burlesque and radical self care!

Awarded Best of Zola
I met Melissa working in the industry on one of the most difficult shoots I've ever been on. That night she was a total professional and amazing photographer and we quickly bonded. I trust her so much that when it was time for my wedding she was who I asked to capture it. She travelled to France to photograph our wedding and was there like one of our family. She kept us calm and having fun in the stressful moments and her creativity made some of the most incredible wedding photos we could have imagined. Now years later Melissa is the person we call first when it is time to capture our family growing. If her photographs aren't enough to convince you, take it from someone who filmed weddings for 13 years; Melissa is the person you want capturing your day.

I am so fortunate that Yin and I found each other on a wedding thread and I was able to see some of his work and book him for my wedding. If you are looking for a true artist that will capture raw and genuine emotion, look no further. Not only can you feel it when you see his work, but he also made the whole planning process and the day of my wedding that much more special. Yin is not only incredibly talented but also an organized professional, great communicator and a gentle, calming soul who brings the right energy to every moment. I have only had the chance to see my sneak peak photos and my husband (ahh!) and I were literally obsessed with each and every one. Being the type of people who do not do well with all eyes on us and are generally awkward in posed photos, we simply could not choose a “favorite” as every one of them held a special memory or captured a raw moment. I literally feel like I fell more in love with our love story after seeing our photos of nervousness, excitement, joy, bliss and emotions. He is truly a storyteller and his 2nd shooter Catherine did just as phenomenal of a job. It is truly wedding vendors like Yin that make dreams come true on this huge milestone. I just can’t stop raving! I literally plan to hire Yin for any and every future event!!! Thank you, Yin for capturing my wedding story and making our day so special. You are so gifted and I am so lucky we crossed paths!

Your photos should do more than simply capture a moment. They should spark memories of how it felt. The laughter, the tears, the warmth of a shared embrace, and the electric energy of moments too extraordinary to put into words. Years from now, I want you to hold these images and be transported back: to the sound of joy, the glow of love, and the memories you never want to fade.

Where do I even start!! Rachael was absolutely amazing to work with! We had the pleasure of taking our first family photos with Rachael Hulse Photography & we couldn't be happier! Having a 5&1/2 month old, we were very nervous to see how it would go, but Rachael went above and beyond to make it such a memorable and fun experience for us. She worked amazing with our baby girl & even sang along with us to "twinkle twinkle little star" to get her playful and smiling! Photos can always feel a little nerve wracking, but Rachael eased our minds right away with how calm and professional she was. She put us into so many great poses and we are obsessed with every photo she delivered. I highly recommend her & we already can't wait to book with her again! Thank you so much Rachael!

Welcome! My name is Maisie but I also so by my nickname, Maze! I am a professional photographer based in San Diego, California! I have been in the wedding industry for 6+ years now - I am so proud of the work I create and the connections I form. To ensure I perform at my best, I only take on around 12 weddings a year. I truly cannot wait to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

I wanted to gatekeep cause she's the best photographer in San Diego and I don't want her to get too busy for me. LOL jk but Maze is seriously a pro yet she is so personable and she felt like an extra bridesmaid, coordinator, and friend on my wedding day vs just another wedding vendor. No one could figure out how to bustle my dress but maze stepped in and literalllyyyy saved my dress. She also fixed my eyelashes when my glue was coming off and made sure my hair was perfect in the photos. A woman of MANY talents! I will forever cherish our photos. As usual they turned out amazing and I could not picked a better photographer to capture our day. I am eternally grateful for you!

We are Sienna plus Josh, adventure elopement photographers [who also eloped!] in 2011 and we have been shooting weddings and adventuring ever since. We are here to help you navigate the path of forging your OWN path. Going the adventure elopement route is intimate, authentic, and empowering...with a day that is truly reflective of your relationship and defines the two of you! One of the best things about eloping is that you get to throw away the rule book and write your own. Whether that is spending your wedding day on a mountaintop in Oregon, among the waterfalls in Iceland, or the warm desert of California.

Sienna and Josh were so helpful with our elopement. They went above and beyond to make the event as fun and easy going as possible. Their suggestions for locations and floral arrangements were perfect! They really helped our elopement plans take shape and made us feel comfortable so we could each our special day to the fullest! They took the time to get to know us and take unique photos that captured the day perfectly. We were very happy with the final result and impressed with the amount of dedication and kindness that they showed to us.

Hello! My name is Katya! I am thrilled you are interested in choosing me to document your special day! I believe that choosing a wedding photographer is about more than just hiring someone with a camera to document your day. Your wedding photographer should be someone who inspires you, and someone who eases wedding day jitters. And, hopefully someone who eventually becomes a friend. I'm excited to give you a little tour so you can learn more about me - the process of working together - and my wedding collections!

Katya was so amazing to work with! She was so efficient, kind, and took gorgeous photos! The spot she took us in Farragut had a beautiful background and was perfect! The photos turned out so beautiful and were everything we were hoping for! I got married at a church, and so the lighting was difficult, but Katya still managed to take great photos inside as well! Thank you Katya, for doing such a wonderful job!

I'm not a regular photographer, I'm a cool photographer. Telling stories all up and down the coast of California. This girl (me), is a bomb mom of two trying to teach them to do what they love. As for me, that's telling your story. I've always loved the thought of traveling, observing and telling others stories. That's where you come to play. What's your story? Are you marrying your high school sweetheart? Are you traveling to your favorite place in the world to express your love? Is it just going to be you two? Do you both have a big family? Let me know. I'm here for it!

Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

I recently used Shutter & Sound for my wedding and they were fantastic! The team was super friendly and really skilled at capturing all the important moments without being intrusive. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors which made everything go smoothly. When we got our photos and videos back, we were blown away by the quality and how they managed to capture the feel of our special day perfectly. I'm a wedding photographer who blends film and digital with an editorial and documentary flair. Movies, TV shows, Vanity Fair magazines, and the timeless style of the Mad Men era have always captivated me. There's something enduring and meaningful about photos of icons like Marilyn Monroe and JFK, both posed and candid. I strive to bring that same timeless quality to your wedding memories, making them feel like pages out of a magazine.

We booked because we loved her style and our first call to get to know each other went so well! Georgie has a fantastic team. We had Elaine as our first shooter and Richard as our second shooter. Georgie picked out an amazing spot for our sunset photos before the day, plus provided tons of helpful info, like checklists for the day of. Georgie and her team really keep your best interests in mind and work hard to get the right shots and keep you on schedule!

Upon graduation in the midst of the pandemic, I have rediscovered a newfound passion for capturing important moments. Working alongside others to bring those moments to life is what I live for! Hello babes! I’m Laura (she/her/hers) and I’ve fallen in love with meeting down to earth couples who share an intense bond. I’m currently based in Southern California but am always open to travel! I’m ready to pack my bags and be your number one third wheel.

Laura was wonderful. Before booking, she took the time to get to know us, learn more about our wedding, and what our vision was. (She even helped fill some gaps in our day that we didn't even think about). After booking, her communication was outstanding, not only with her consistent follow ups, but she was able to really vibe with us. Day of, we felt really comfortable with her taking our photos. Our guests commented on how professional, friendly, and helpful she was. At the end of the experience, it felt like a friend was taking our photos and not someone we just met on Zola. The photos came out great and captured exactly who my wife and I are.
