“My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. He kept the night running smoothly despite the changes we made to the schedule of events at the last minute. Throughout the night he checked in with us and advocated for everything we needed. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. He was so flexible with us as we had so many changes throughout the planning process. He was willing to work with us regardless of what our contract stated, he just wanted us to have the best wedding we could. He was so helpful in planning meetings and his tool was easy and fun for us to use! We asked him last minute to do all the ceremony music and he was even willing to jump in the day of to marry us when we thought we were without an officiant. All of our guests raved about him! Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
