“Mushmouth is an absolutely incredible band—they had people asking us all night (and still to this day) how I found them. I think I turned quite a few of our wedding guests into Mushmouth groupies! “Highly, highly recommend the Barnstorm for a wedding or any event. We hired them for our wedding the last weekend of September 2019 in Montauk, and they absolutely put the night over the top! First and foremost, they are a great band; not your typical “wedding band”. They aren’t cookie cutter (i.e. you won’t hear them playing the same songs that you hear at every wedding) and they certainly aren’t stiff. They vibe off each other and the room. They are legitimately having a fun time performing with each other and that permeates throughout the room. Everyone will be up dancing, singing, drinking, and sweating their butts off, and having a blast! What to expect: -Professionalism. Brooks responds promptly and covers all bases. No detail will be overlooked during the planning stages. Day of, they get to the venue well ahead of time to sound check and make sure everything is sounding perfect. During the event, they are great at providing direction and making sure everything runs smoothly. -Personalization and flexibility. The guys truly care about making the event as special as possible and are very open to any idea to bring the event over the top. In addition to our “special request” songs (which they nailed) the band was incredibly gracious at my request to join them onstage to “surprise” my wife and guests by playing a song along with them. It could not have gone over any better…my wife was thrilled and it absolutely brought the house down! -Party! They know what will get everyone up and moving. Their catalogue of songs is well over 200 and it includes all decades and genres. “I came across Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo on Instagram & was immediately amazed by how great they sounded in their videos. And boy did that translate in real life, they are AMAZING. Lori and Scott are both so talented and just so fun. It literally felt like they were part of the family & they kept the party going all night. They take so much pride in their set up too to make sure the speakers & the sound really work for the space. They also set up the microphone and speakers for the ceremony which was a huge help. We also had added Billy on the percussions for the reception and that was such a big hit to really turn up the party. “I don't know where to begin! First and foremost, book DJ Nate for your wedding ASAP! My fiancé(now husband) and I were looking for a DJ that was not your typical, "gaudy, corny, and obnoxious" wedding DJs these days. He was professional, organized, accommodating, and easy to talk to. Our first initial "meet-up" was through the phone. He listened to all our suggestions and helped plan our reception timeline to the T. His recommendations were spot on when we were unsure of things. His website was also easy to use. It helped us to start up the wedding reception program, add songs we loved( and hated lol), and everything else you can think of while planning the reception program. He was also very prompt with answering back emails and phone calls. He even took his time to ask us how to properly pronounce ALL the bridal entourage's full names(Filipino last names are a little tricky when it comes to proper pronunciation, and he nailed it during the reception!). Guests came up to me and said his voice was perfect! They liked how HE WAS NOT obnoxiously screaming through the mic to hype up the crowd. He let his music do the "talking." My husband and I danced the night away. Our dance floor was full the entire time, and this is not an exaggeration. Our full wedding video without a doubt showed how everyone was on the dance floor enjoying themselves. We are VERY PICKY with our music, and DJ Nate literally played all the songs we wanted. DJ Nate did an absolute amazing job with our reception music. Seriously guys, book him for your wedding/event. We cannot recommend DJ Nate from Terrace DJ enough. THANK YOU, THANK YOU NATE!”
