It’s Cheri Tran, your photographer. I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for a decade , and my passion lies in photography and traveling. My trusty Nikon D850+z7ii have survived many terrains, from capturing the Northern lights in ~32*F in Alaska, to a few drops in the oceans in Bali and Patagonia. In fact, I had traveled to 30 countries by the time I turned 30, so don’t hesitate to ask me to be your travel companion in capturing some beautiful moments.

I know when to be serious, but I also know when to start singing Whitney Houston’s, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” (I can even hit them high notes). From the moment you inquire, to the day I send you your goods, i’ll be over using the exclamation point! Some say that’s overly enthusiastic, but life is so much better this way. I'm a Bay Area native born and raised with a small stint in NY but I'm back, however continually on the move! I was raised by a single parent with my two sisters so family means absolutely everything thing to me. They are literally my biggest supporters and ultimate hype crew.

Right after graduating from CSU Sacramento in 2012 (with a BA in Photography, might I add!), I did photography as a side-hustle while working a couple of various jobs: part-time as a Summer camp counselor and full-time at a medical device company. After getting married in 2016, I moved to Modesto with my husband since he was working there at the time. Because of the move, I had to leave my jobs in the East Bay. I took this move to the Central Valley as a sign that I should do photography full-time. So, since 2017, I've been a full-time wedding photographer. We are now in beautiful Sonoma County!
