I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

Thankfully, there are vendors like me who are here to help manage your day for you and keep the stress off of your shoulders as much as possible. I actually got started in this field when my sister-in-law needed some extra hands for her wedding in 2022. I stepped in and helped her create decor, oversaw the set-up process, and even coordinated between the DJ and the newlyweds to be sure they were ready for each special activity before it was announced. I'm so grateful I was able to fulfill such a vital role in making her special day perfect.
