The Woman’s Club of Evanston was the perfect venue for our June wedding! After an extensive venue search, we were so excited to find the Woman’s Club. The venue checked every box we had - close enough to the city for us and our friends and close enough to the suburbs for our family. The venue is also located right between a reasonably-priced parking garage and a lovely Hilton, which accommodated anyone flying or driving into our celebration. Our vendors also raved about the ease of working in that space, from the vendor parking lot to loading areas to elevators. The venue manager, Gretchen, was the best! She is an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly, and was on top of all the tasks that needed to be completed. The BYOB policy of the venue also helped us save some money on our beverages. The list of preferred caterers was great and we found someone that was the perfect fit for our fusion wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was just right for us. The first floor is so warm and welcoming, and was perfect for our photos and for the cocktail hour. The second floor ballroom is grand and had such a wow factor. We were able to keep our decorations to a minimum because the venue itself is gorgeous. The space has so much natural light. We used the gardens outside for our first look, which made for some lovely photos. There’s nowhere else I would rather have gotten married!

I got in touch with the banquet manager for my wedding, and He explained me every minor detail about the setup, decor, food, stage. They were very kind to accommodate extra guests on the day of the event. The banquet is clean, spacious and looks beautiful. The bridal suite which comes with all of their wedding packages, was so helpful and I got ready in my room comfortably.

I had my wedding at Fountain Blue and it was amazing. I worked with Georgia and she was so helpful throughout the whole process. The food was amazing to the point where people still tell me how good it is months later. The food isn’t even wedding venue good it’s just good overall. They were also packed any extra food we had from the no shows which was great. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The professionalism was like non other! They made sure my wedding was absolutely perfect! I got married on the hottest day of the year with a heat index of 119 F and the tent kept all of my guests cool! Emma did an outstanding job and her communication was stellar! Pete offered rides for guests on his golf cart throughout the wedding to make sure people did not have to walk far! I knew from the moment I took a tour here that I just had to have my wedding here! They offer many decorations that you can add to with your own hint of color to make your night beautiful! I needed to change my date unexpectedly and they were able to accommodate without any issues! I heard they were planning on making more improvements on years to come with an addition of a new barn and that is just so exciting for all the future brides! How can you make improvements on something that was already so perfect! All brides should save their time and visit this venue first because I know you will just fall in love with it! I think I am one of the very few brides that can say nothing went wrong on my special day and it was all due to the help of Emma, Pete, and the Northfork staff! P.s. I was looking over from previous reviews and brides have full capability of choosing their own DJ and food vendor, but Northfork offers a nice list of PREFERRED vendors that work well to help with the search! I chose all my vendors (Uncle Bubs and DJUj) from their list and my night could not have been more perfect!

CityGate Grille is THE hidden gem in Naperville! I have DJ'd several times at CityGate Grille and this is one of the few venues in the Chicagoland area that I will refer to my clients. First of all, the staff that you work with is literally second-to-none. Barb is extremely nice, professional, always has a smile on her face and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is absolutely perfect! The staff on the day of your wedding are timely, professional, courteous, and will stop at nothing to give you one of the best experiences of your life! Even at a vendor table, they treat you with respect and ask if there is anything we need - and, again, that's just at a VENDOR TABLE! Secondly, the space is beautiful! CityGate's lawn and patio ceremony areas are perfect! Confined to just your family and friends, there will be no worries of having random people walking by during your ceremony - which I personally love as your ceremony needs to be intimate between you, your spouse, and your guests. The actual reception space is gorgeous! Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the patio coupled with aesthetically-pleasing ceiling lights and bar with all of the fixin's for that perfect cocktail will keep you and your guests more than satisfied throughout your reception. Finally, the service is FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! This should be the single most important aspect of selecting your wedding venue. As I stated above, from your first meeting down to the minuscule details, Barb and her team have it covered 100%. Everyone will treat you with kindness, respect, and will be genuinely excited about your celebration! Do yourself a favor and look no further than CityGate Grille for your wedding reception. Eaglewood was a wonderful venue to host our wedding at! Everything was perfect from the look of the room to the kindness of the waitstaff. Our wedding at Venue 5126 was amazing beyond our wildest dreams. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful and perfect the venue was. The ceremony in the pergola, the cocktail reception on their gorgeous paver patio, dinner in the upscale tent and dancing in the barn all flowed perfectly and looked incredible. More importantly to us, the staff at Venue 5126 is what sets the apart from other venues we considered. We worked with them for over a year to plan every detail of our wedding, and anyone and everyone on their staff was available night and day to answer all of our questions and ease our worries. The day of, the staff was incredible and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. From their in house florist to DJ, their styling and coordinating staff to the owners themselves, we couldn't imagine having worked with a better team or a more beautiful venue.

I did the family-style menu and all the food was delicious. The reception area in the all seasons room was beautiful with the light globe. The bartenders and servers were very attentive and polite. All of our guests loved the food, the chocolate fountain, and of course the late-night bowling!! The communication with the venue was my main pain point as I was appointed multiple sales managers as it seemed like they were going through a management change. I thought it was odd that I talked with the sales manager for all of my communication regarding the wedding up until the day of I was assigned an event manager who I met 1 hour before my ceremony. The sales manager was still on property the day of but I thought it was weird I didn't receive any information that I would be working with someone else the day of. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful and fun place to get married!!

Let me start with this, one of my friend’s is a retired wedding/event coordinator and she said she’s never seen a team as good as the MBR team in her 20 years. The atrium is a beautiful ceremony location, the ballroom is classy and perfect for a wedding bash, their vendors are excellent, and they are just a well oiled machine. They take great notes throughout the process and check in with you, their software platform makes it easy and I just can’t say enough good things about the day of. I had someone constantly checking in to see if I needed something to drink or food, etc. We went down the street for pics and a coordinator came with us and made sure we had water when we got back. 100/10 rating. Also, so many photo opps near the venue.
