We got married at the Picnic House in April 2024 and had a great experience! It's a beautiful space that you can do a lot with. We really appreciated both having both the flexibility of choosing amongst a variety of vendors, as well as the assurance that given their experience with the venue that they'd be easy to work with day of (which was true- we had a very smooth wedding day!). We really appreciated working with Caity, who was very responsive over email and quick to pick up the phone. Our only struggle was in acquiring our parking passes (that was really the mail's fault) and in getting some answers early on regarding external alcohol policies. And I would say be very careful in selecting your caterer, since they'll make or break your experience. But overall I would absolutely recommend the Picnic House to anyone! The price really can't be beat for what you're getting.

Our experience with CBH was nothing short of perfect! We had a small 54-person cocktail hour and reception, both in the Othmer Library, and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect space. The overall atmosphere of the library was incredible, and we leaned hard into the old-world feel of the space. Our guests were in awe when they walked in, and the fact that we were able to be involved every step of the way made it so special. CBH works exclusively with Purslane as their caterer, and all communication was done through Purslane, who are also amazing and make fabulous food. (We had many raving guests.) They also help arrange all the rentals, create the run of show, and ensure the night is running along as planned, which it did! A few things we weren't expecting: - The library itself is on the smaller side, so if you want to have dinner and dancing there, you're looking at 60 people tops. This worked out fine for us with plenty of room for a dance floor, but we did have to significantly cut our guest list. - Since the building is a historical landmark, no food or drink that could stain (red sauce, red wine, coffee, etc.) was allowed. This never bothered us, and none of our guests even noticed since we had a fully stocked bar and incredibly delicious food. - We were required to hire a professional day-of coordinator. This was not part of our budget, so be prepared if it's not in yours either. We ended up working with Mostest since they were the least expensive service we could find, and they were amazing. It turned out to be so useful to have our DOC there, so we're happy this rule was imposed, as it led to a seamless night! - The library set up a new exhibit a few weeks before our wedding in the Fransioli Gallery where we were to have our cocktail hour, and we did not know what it would constitute until a few weeks out. We ended up deciding the contents of the exhibit weren't very well suited to a wedding, and CBH/Purslane were incredibly accommodating, offering to put up pipe and drape or move the cocktail hour. We chose to move it to be in the Othmer and were so happy with that decision. Overall, CBH is a 10/10! Our wedding felt like a dream, and anything we had to sacrifice was far outweighed by the stunning space. We would highly recommend CBH as a venue if you're looking for a more intimate night with immaculate vibes!

People are still talking about our wedding. The food, service, views, everything is exceptional and worth every penny. Multiple people have said that it’s the best wedding they have ever been to. The cocktail hour had at least 8x the amount of food (passed and stations) as any wedding we had been to. There is a Mediterranean station, sushi bar, raw bar, dim sum station, martini bar, and more. Then you get to choose 8 passed appz (including lobster rolls, crab cakes, lamb chops, and more). We really cannot say more positive things about Tribeca rooftop!

I love photographing weddings at Manhatta restaurant in downtown Manhattan. The team at Manhatta couldn't have been more professional, accommodating and friendly! The last couple I photographed at Manhatta had such a great time, which was evident in the joy and love in the photos. The rooms were infused with light and a beautiful warm glow at sunset. The views of the city were breathtaking - the guests were very impressed. There was ample room for the couple of have a band perform and to also dance the night away with all of their family and friends. I highly recommend this venue!

What an amazing venue. Grand but intimate, this venue offers the best of both worlds. It’s old world charm made this the perfect venue for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding. The hospitality team MMEink the runs the venue took care of everything thing for us from start to finish. MMEink took care of all the hospitality and production needs all the way down to the wedding favors which made planning an out of state wedding super easy. We knew we wanted to host our wedding in Jersey City so our guests could enjoy the skyline and the water views. After viewing multiple venues, we landed on Maritime Parc for 7/20/24 and it was the best decision we made. Our wedding planning ran smoothly because we worked with Maritime’s team. Working with Priscila, the sales manager, was like working with family. She was available whenever I needed her which made getting answers to questions quick and easy. She went above and beyond her role. This venue offers a classy food tasting and cake tasting at their restaurant. Even though they host weddings every weekend, they made us feel that ours was very special and important. We appreciated working with Alexis on our timelines and floor-plan. She was very organized and thought of all the little things that we never would have!! Our day of Captains and Bridal Attendant, Marc, Rita and Patricia were the best!! Always there when we needed them and so so kind. My family members raved about their helpfulness. The entire staff at Maritime (servers, bartenders, valet, etc) were professional and attentive. It is rare to have such good and consistent service at a wedding. Lastly… the FOOD. What other wedding venue serves Scallops over braised short ribs?? None! Choose Maritime for a stress free wedding year!

We had our wedding here in February—it was a beautiful space with large windows that let in so much natural light. We loved how our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on different floors. The View was very accommodating of our request to also have a traditional Korean ceremony in the reception space. Overall, it’s a simple, but modern and elegant venue. Food and drinks were amazing—the guests particularly praised the cocktail hour foods. (We also had a donut wall, which was crazy!) And finally, the staff were all so lovely. Vivian and her team helped make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible.

I was extremely impressed by not only the polite construction and staff at the facility, but also how they had EVERYTHING figured out for large scale weddings and events to take place at their location. They have stunning-luxury hotel rooms & suites, a restaurant, bar and lounge space, gorgeous views of the Hudson valley, a cathedral -aesthetic ceremony and reception hall, lush gardens and lawns, plenty of parking, JUST A PERFECT SPOT for weddings and events so travel isn't an issue. ONE STOP SHOP :D I highly recommend this wedding venue!

The Royal Manor was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly kind, efficient and diligent in their communication, guiding us smoothly through the planning process. I have loved coming to the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat museum since I was a child so when my husband and I got engaged, we knew we had to get married here. It was such a magical venue and was reasonably priced. They truly don't try to nickel-and-dime you like a lot of other wedding venues, they just want you to have a good experience. The bridal suite was a beautifully decorated air-conditioned train car. We also decided to add on a roundtrip steam train ride down to the CT river and a steamboat cruise as our cocktail hour (honestly didn't cost as much as you'd think...). Our reception was inside the hall and was perfectly air-conditioned and decorated. We did a buffet option and the food was good! If you decide to get married outside, just remember that it IS an active train yard so make sure your officiant has a microphone. Meredith and Tyler were very easy to work with while planning the event. I highly recommend getting married here. Oh, and your photos will look INSANE.
