“We cannot recommend DJ Neema enough. He is the BEST of the best. As a musician and dancer and coming from American (Texan) and Indian backgrounds, the music for our wedding was very important to us. Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. When it started sprinkling, neither our guests nor DJ Neema wanted to stop so with the help from some friends, they constructed a cover for DJ Neema’s set up with a table cloth and dry cleaning plastic and kept the party going (see pic)! Just incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our wedding day unforgettable. When we hired them after a recommendation/commendation from another couple who called Blind Date the highlight of their wedding, we thought maybe they were being hyperbolic, but we knew at least the band would be good enough for a good time. Never in my life could I have imagined a band was capable of being as great as they were. From the beautiful jazz dinner set (it felt like I was listening to the jazz greats themselves), to the best two hours of dancing I’ve ever enjoyed in my life, Blind Date blew us away. He offered a discount if we paid in cash and threw in extras like uplighting which really helped set the mood.
