Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. “The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect venue for our September wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and thoughtful in their communication. Their professionalism and expertise put us at ease throughout the planning process even when unforeseen circumstances created a change in coordinator; the team was available in person or via phone or email to talk through any of the ideas we wanted to see on our day. On the day of, the venue made for the most beautiful backdrop to our special day; our guests got to go on a journey through the stunning grounds as they transitioned from our greenhouse ceremony, to cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the mountains and lastly dinner and a night of dancing in the barn. Krysta and her day-of coordination team were absolute stars, and they made us feel like family throughout our entire wedding experience. They set up all of our decor and personalized touches, as well as worked with our outside vendors to help them prepare for the day. Her and her team truly brought our vision to life, down to the smallest details like the blue goblets and rust-colored napkins. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were so kind and attentive to us and our guests. We could not recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough!”

“Attean Lake Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Josie was always responsive, reasonable and kind throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is a gorgeous, magical private oasis with spectacular views, charm and ambiance - all at an amazing price. Josie was super flexible and really allowed us to execute our day however we wanted, from hand picking the menu to assisting all of our guests with their bags and even making extra late night trips to pick up late arrivals. The entire staff at Attean were a complete joy to work with. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true! The cabins are comfortable with stunning views, the food was out of this world, and we felt so welcome and comfortable as a queer couple. We wouldn't change a thing about our experience at Attean Lake Lodge.”
