Not only have I hosted a few memorable events at Barrett’s Olde Scotland Links but I have attended many there as well. One of the most memorable was our wedding! When you book your special day with Ally you immediately feel at ease and a priority throughout the entire process. Working with Alisa and Kristi on my winter Christmas wedding was both a pleasure and a joy! I got married at the Ridge Club on May 21st and it was the most perfect day. Right when we met Kristie, I knew she would be wonderful to work with. She answered all of our questions and was always quick to respond throughout the entire 20 month planning process. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests have not stopped raving about it. The set up with the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception hall all being close was perfect and the outside area with firepits was a huge hit. People could take a moment outside but still be able to see what was going on inside so it never felt separated. The food was AMAZING and again, all of our guests mentioned how good their meals were. We did steak and parmesan crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini and oh my goodness it was just so good. We also had late night snacks and people could not get enough!!!! Monalisa was also on site to help out the night before (rehearsal dinner) and day of and she was such an angel! She set everything up just how I explained and made sure I was taken care of. The ONLY negative thing was that the bridal suite, while gorgeous, did not have opaque curtains so it was a challenge to change in there. Such a small thing and it didn't really affect the day at all but just for future brides to be aware of! I could go on and on about how amazing The Ridge Club is and I am SO happy we decided to have our wedding there. It was truly perfect.

Myrtle is an exceptional wedding venue that we highly recommend. Their communication via email and telephone was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. The large indoor space with ample seating, along with the beautiful outdoor patio, allowed us to easily transform the venue into the wedding of our dreams. One of the owners is an experienced interior designer and florist, and they contributed greatly by assisting with the setup of the food and decor. Myrtle also accommodated our music and guest scheduling needs. The value for such a stunning and versatile space is unbeatable. We are thrilled with how our special day turned out at Myrtle.

We got married at Waverly Oaks this past fall and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. On our first visit to the venue, we loved all the beautiful spaces the it offered but what really sold us was the hospitality of Kathryn and Lindsey. They seamlessly guided us through a very detailed process that resulted in our unforgettable wedding day. The entire staff at Waverly Oaks is incredibly professional and Mary did an amazing job at keeping everything moving along on time. We had no issues on our wedding day whatsoever and that is a testament to how organized the team was and their ability to execute everything we planned. Kathryn and her staff really go above and beyond to make sure you feel valued and heard for anything that you need. We would highly recommend Waverly Oaks to anyone!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. Hotel Providence was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. I loved moving from room to room, having a dance floor away from space for folks to have coffee and dessert, and to be able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. We could not have been more happy. There has been a recent change in events personnel, which led to some miscommunications and a few things not happening as expected. While nothing that altered any piece of our enjoyment, I would recommend couples who are more anxious or type A to hire a day/month of coordinator to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The staff at HP are five-star, and they handled every questions, concern, issue, and guest with grace and professionalism. I thought it was well-priced., and for us, having a venue that "does it all" was super important.

Just a Girl Events had the pleasure of working here for a small wedding. The venue is amazing! With 3 onsite areas that would be considered suites it is perfect to host your wedding party from the evening before to the day after. The studio space itself is beautiful with gabled ceilings and a beautiful floor with a brick inlay that is of the original design. The outdoor spacing can host a small area for cocktails with great ambiance or just a courtyard to hang out. We LOVED having our wedding at Machines with Magnets. Everything about the night and the planning was absolutely seamless. We got compliments all night (and still to this day) that the drinks were the best our guests had ever had. The cocktails are that of a thoughtful bar program — not just a wedding venue. The same goes for furniture, art, and ambience. If you're looking to avoid the generic wedding venue vibe, look no further. Machines with Magnets is the type of place you want to go grab a drink or hang out for the night — not a large wedding venue created to churn and burn events. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors from all over, rather than having to stick to a small list. There's also a beautiful apartment attached to the venue that we chose to add-on, which was a great thing to have to get ready and store our belongings. Would highly recommend using the projector!

My husband and I recently got married at this beautiful venue in August. We had the ceremony on the water and everything about the day was so beautiful and perfect. It was also so very nice to have so many things within walking distance for our guests and more than enough spaces for people to stay nearby. Everyone we worked with was so incredible and helpful. Wedding planning is very stressful, but they all had a very calming, put-together presence. They were so organized and helped make the day go seamlessly. We are beyond appreciative of Franque, Mindy, Jack and Karen and everyone else who helped make this day so very special. They were so patient and worked with us to make it everything we wanted the day to be and more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach wedding!!

To say Emily and the team at GBC made our dreams come true is an understatement. From the moment we met, we were immediately impressed with her positive attitude, attention to detail, and organization. We fell in love with the venue initially, but now upon reflecting, it was the collective efforts of the staff of Galilee Beach Club that we will forever cherish and appreciate for the rest of our lives. Emily patiently listened and worked hard throughout the entire process, answering endless emails from me, while collaborating with Chris the general manager, Chef Rob, and the rest of her event staff to make all of our ideas come to life. Emily’s planning meetings along the way were focused, thorough, and super informative. She made time (even during her hectic season) for us, always. We trusted her completely with our vision and she knocked it out of the park. For me, I was in awe of her attention to the little things… the plate of hors douerves delivered to the bridal suite for us right after the ceremony, the signature drinks in our toasting flutes during dinner, the floating candles she suggested for the sweetheart table, right down to Emily locating our missing marriage license moments before the ceremony! She did it all with grace and ease. I could trust Emily and her team to set up all of the decor without an ounce of worry and on top of the beautiful set-up, Emily and her team packed up everything (and I mean everything!) into my car that night which truly was an unbelievable service. Chris, the General Manager, was our officiant and he was incredible. We had only met Chris a handful of times before we got married, but we felt as if he was one of our good friends. He knew exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. And the food! Everything was out of this world. Multiple guests claimed the short rib was the best they ever had. Chef Rob’s seared tuna steaks were prepared to perfection, even impressing a room full of tuna fisherman, which is certainly not an easy feat! The Galilee Beach Club was a warm, welcoming, highly professional, full service, simply spectacular place to get married. Our wedding surpassed our wildest dreams, which was undoubtedly the result of the hard work and long hours put in by Emily, Chris, Rob and the rest of the event staff at GBC. As two native Rhode Islanders and Galilee locals, we could not have had a more perfect setting for one of the most memorable days of our lives. We are forever grateful to have worked with such a remarkable team.

Could not have been happier at Jones River Trading! The venue is beautiful! So homey, eclectic, and charming! I just loved the vibe of the room and everything in it. The staff was beyond excellent. Michele is extremely organized and kept the night moving-I didn’t have to think about anything! Got sooooo many compliments on the evening! Also, the food was perfection. We opted for the buffet and it did not disappoint. The best part, extremely affordable. You can’t go wrong. Thank you again Michele for such a memorable evening!

The 1620 Winery once served as rope-braiding building when part of the historic Plymouth Cordage Company (The nations oldest and largest manufacturer of ship rigging since the early 1800’s). In 2015, Bob and Raquel Mullaney undertook a comprehensive renovation of the gorgeous historic building as a labor of love in order to restore and preserve its rugged beauty and its historic character. The project was completed in 2017 and the new 1620 Winery reopened as a fully operational Winery, wedding and events venue. The centerpiece of the Winery, our grand ballroom with its exposed brick walls, soaring beamed ceilings, wide plank floors and massive fireplace, this space creates an unforgettable setting for your celebration.Our newly-completed “Barrel Room” is a gorgeous spot for your on-site ceremony (or a smaller, more intimate reception).

After we toured 1620 Winery at Cordage Park, we immediately got in the car and said to each other that we should book it for our July 2023 Wedding. We have zero regrets! It was so beautiful and unique as a venue. We loved the convenience of everything being in one place- and so did our guests! We also loved that although it is primarily an inside venue (with air conditioning for a summer wedding!), there is a large outside deck for guests to enjoy. Logistics and planning were a dream. They are incredibly organized and prepared for anything. Jenn, the coordinator, clearly knows how to run a fantastic wedding and if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we have no idea! The wine was delicious and a fun talking point for guests. The food was hands down some of the best food we’ve had at a wedding (we loved going to the tasting ahead of time, too!) - our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how unique and fun the venue was. We love, love, loved getting married there and would suggest it to ANYONE looking to book with them. We are so happy with our decision to choose 1620 Winery at Cordage Park.

We couldn’t have made a better choice than EnVision as our venue for our 3 day and 550 guest Gujarati Indian traditional wedding. This particular venue was a perfect place to use not only as a venue but also as accommodation for many of our guests. The open concept building allowed them to freely mingle and attend events in a ballroom conveniently central to all the food, drinks and rooms. Christine, the Director of Catering Sales, was exceptional in contributing on her end in the wedding planning process. We appreciated the opportunity to meet in person with her several times throughout this period to touch base about all the details on the hotel’s end. She was very flexible, cooperative and understanding of our culture’s traditions and what they entailed. She truly did her best in ensuring we could do everything we wanted while also maintaining safety of all the guests, vendors and employees. Samantha from sales was also wonderful to work with. She was very quick to respond and very helpful in coordinating our room block and room assignments. Overall, highly recommend EnVision for all weddings, traditional or not!

782Wrentham was the perfect setting for our belated wedding reception. We had time to decorate and add personal touches on the morning of the event. My makeup artist (Gyna Paine) traveled to me and used the rental space as my bridal suite. The venue was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and parking for 100 guests. For dinner, we all were seated under a large, well-lit tent. The vendors we hired (DJ/photo booth, dance floor, bar service, and catering) made for a unique event that wow-ed our family and friends. We’ll remember August 24th, 2024 forever.

I got married at Lake Pearl in July 2024, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the entire staff was an absolute dream to work with. Their preferred vendors and the staff are like a well-oiled machine, working together flawlessly. Lake Pearl is also the perfect backdrop for photos, with a beach, dock, gardens, and tree-lined forest areas that provide diverse landscapes for stunning photo opportunities. I got married in the new Belvedere building, which is a showstopper filled with great lighting and tons of windows! I'm not sure I can properly describe it but the island, the venue, and the entire day was awesome and it was definitely thanks to Spring House Hotel that it happened perfectly. Tanya is unlike any other. She is great at her job, directive the day of as needed, and works hard to make your vision come to life. She is so responsive, attentive, and has contagious energy. I was a very hands-on bride and Tanya encouraged every idea I had which was truly amazing. It is no secret that the venue is beautiful but what made the day extra special was all the staff truly there to see the day through. We loved getting married at BIMI. It was great to be on the water and have an indoor and outdoor location. BIMI comes with its own tables, chairs, bar, kitchen, and dance floor as well as a back porch and lawn. We were able to personalize the venue to our needs for decorations. You also know when you’re getting married there that you’re supporting a great cause, as BIMI uses the funds for maritime education and programs on Block Island!
