She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). My name is Katelyn, I’m 26, and I’m based out of the Portland, Oregon area! I am beautifully, unapologetically, and loudly queer, and my pronouns are she/her. On any given day, you can find me meditating and reading by the water somewhere. I’m deeply into all things spiritual—moon phases, energy work, astrology, you name it—and I try to bring that sense of intention and magic into everything I do. Photography has been my outlet, my healing space and my rebellion for as long as i can remember. But I am inspired by all forms of art. I write poetry, I paint, I make pottery.
