The Carmichael House, a wedding venue situated in Jackson, Georgia, carries within its walls a rich and full history. This historic mansion dates back to the year 1898. Today, this venue, which is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been renovated and restored to provide couples with a vintage and elegant site for their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. On your wedding day, The Carmichael House provides you with both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from. The interior, though it has been renovated, still reflects the original Queen Anne Victorian style. The main home is quite spacious and the perfect setting to get ready for your wedding day. The Event Hall is perfect for larger size weddings. In this space, you and your guests will be also able to relax as you enjoy the fireplace, loft, and bar. Couples and guests will also have access to the outdoor gazebo, veranda, and garden areas.

The Corry House is named after the Corry family that settled the land in the late 1700's. That same family built the house in 1869, and continues to own the land to this day, ten generations later. After meeting and marrying in Greenville in 1989, Drs. Bo and Ruby Cheves moved to Bo's family farm in Union Point, Georgia. Here, they began the work of remodeling the 150-year-old farmhouse and surrounding grounds. As their two kids grew older, Bo and Ruby decided to build a new house overlooking the Ogeechee River further back on the property in 2007. With the help of Erin and Stanton Porter, The Corry House held its first wedding in 2010. At that time, we didn't have our reception barn or the meadow and forest wedding sites. Folks got married in the garden or in front of the farmhouse. After a few years of weddings, Bo and Ruby decided to run with it and built our temperature-controlled barn in 2014.

The Dogwood barn is situated on a 600 acre ranch. Enter the gravel road, wood fence on each side lined with oak trees.It’s a 7500 sqft climate controlled newly built barn, rustic & elegant everywhere you turn.Chandeliers run down the middle, with blown glass fixtures & iron wall sconces.The ranch is so peaceful & surrounded by nature.The ceremony overlooks an 18 acre stocked pond, permanent wood benches with backs, no hassle of moving chairs here.The barn can seat up to 300 but can be conformed to a small wedding. Hand made farm tables & cross back wood chairs will be set up for you on your big day.A gorgeous bridal suite makes getting ready memorable!Kitchen with a warming tower, double oven, 500lb ice machine, fridge & microwave.This property is truly a majestic place that must be seen to fully appreciate its beauty. Our venue features amenities found nowhere else including the pre-civil war grist mill, open air pavilion overlooking the creek side ceremony area, a large cottage house dedicated to our couples to get ready in. You will love the bridal side and a private groom’s loft. In addition, the venue has onsite decor, catering prep area and 3 guest restrooms conveniently located.

The Golden Door Event Hall is conveniently located outside the city of Atlanta off of Interstate 20. The ballroom can hold a maximum of 150 guests banquet style. The ballrooms are a blank canvas so you can decorate to your liking with no restrictions. We offer both ceremony and reception space.
