Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

I rarely write reviews for anything but in this case, I can't help myself. I am so grateful to have found Amy and Cloud 9. Amy helped me through every single step throughout the wedding planning process. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, creative, organized, understanding, and fun. She brought a sense of calm to the whole experience and went above and beyond again and again, helping me problem solve when I was stressed. She facilitated beautiful and creative ideas (like lining our outdoor ceremony aisle with individual floral stems in miniature vases stuck into the ground) that I would have never thought of. She helped my vision come to life (even when I often didn't have a vision) and kept everything on track. She even surprised me the day of by showing up early to check on me to ensure that I had everything I needed. Amy's day of assistant, Mary, was also very hardworking and thoughtful. Working with Cloud 9 is easily some of the best money I've ever spent. Worth every single cent.

Hansen Weddings and Events was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. The vendor was there promptly and available to help out and direct the wedding party to the right areas. Their work was solid, contributing to our special day in several ways. They were extremely punctual, which was greatly appreciated. The only gripe was the undecorated wedding arch - I've been to many weddings where a fully ornamental arch was provided, but the one here was simply wood. As a bridesmaid, I was unsure of the communication with the venue beforehand, but the bride had been under the impression that a ready-to-use photographer's arch would be available. We had to make a last-minute trip to the craft store to get it decorated. Overall, Hansen Weddings and Events did a great job and I would recommend them.

Jacki and her team are simply fabulous! There is so much more to hair and makeup services than simply making you look and feel your best, though they will do that too! Just as important is Jacki's understanding of wedding days and special events, their timelines, working with other vendors as a team, and how best to be able to touch up your makeup throughout the day (esp those lips!) and making sure you look fresh! She takes care to listen to her clients' needs rather than choosing what style to use. Jacki is just one of the kindest, most lighthearted and fun wedding professionals out there. I texted when I need advice and we had calls closer to our date to finalize timeline and details. She arrived to our venue the day before to coordinate our rehearsal and morning of was there to greet us. She handled all vendor delivery and pick up. There is so much work that goes in behind the scenes on your wedding day with set up and take down and you will not have to even think twice about it with Celynn there coordinating your day! On top of all of this, Celynn is the most down to earth and caring person. She didn’t feel like my planner day of, but my friend! I could tell she really cared about everything we had both put into creating a really beautiful and memorable day. I can’t recommend her enough! Second to saying yes, hiring the Duchess of Denver was the best wedding decision we made! From spending hours truly getting to know us, to having all the right connections, to gracefully navigating a weather pivot on our wedding day, Alex surpassed every expectation. My husband and I knew we wanted to create a unique, beautiful wedding experience that we, our family and friends would cherish and remember. We’d wanted elements of a traditional wedding weekend but one that felt fun and not like every other wedding we’d been to. We also knew that, as a busy engineer and lawyer, we had very little knowledge about what goes into a great wedding and very little time or desire to learn the intricacies of “the perfect wedding.” Alex spent hours asking probing and fun questions. He really got to know our visions, desires and quirks. There were so many times when we said things like “we want a dinner the night before, but not a typical rehearsal reception with people standing around at hightop in a bland conference room.” He absorbed all of it and turned it into a fabulous weekend. Alex’s encyclopedic knowledge about James and Rebecca was invaluable when my work got super crazy a few months before the wedding. When I told Alex that I could do big decisions, but the little ones, like choosing ribbon color or envelopes for invitations, were hurting my brain, Alex stepped in and planned everything based on what he knew about us. Alex found us a breathtaking space in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor, he coordinated flowers to match my colorful dress, helped pick perfect delicious meal stations that suited a variety of dietary needs, organized the music and stayed on top of the hotel until their 3,000 square foot Parker suite opened up. Alex interviewed and found the best make-up artist, designed hand calligraphed journals for our guests, and created guest bags that with fun and useful things. I could go on and on! Alex’s management of every detail meant the weekend ran smoothly and everyone was happy! He created a bowling night for our out-of-town guests and wedding party, worked with the hotel make sure family members with friction had rooms far away from each other, stocked our bride and groom suite with snacks and champagne, moved us us through the precise schedule of photos, ceremony and reception, and organized a fun and delicious good-bye brunch. When a surprisingly rainy June meant our outdoor ceremony space was a mud-field, Alex pivoted and redesigned a large alcove in the reception space to be a cozy ceremony space. So many of our friends and family have said that ours was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended. Ok, ok, maybe they have to say that, but in this case, I think it’s probably true! We would recommend Alex to any couple, especially successful professionals who want to create a first class, memorable experience (but might now have the first clue of how do to it).
