Rob and our DJ Jordan B were so great to work with and were one of our favorite vendors for our wedding! The booking process was easy, and communication was fantastic. Any questions, requests, or info I needed was answered and addressed so quickly and efficiently, and it really makes the entire wedding planning process just that much easier. All our favorite songs playing throughout our wedding at key moments like our ceremony, reception, and first dance made the event feel so dreamy and cinematic, and I can’t thank Rob and Jordan enough for making our event so memorable. We also booked our photo booth (Feature Booth) through them, and it was the same amazing communication and day of execution. As a graphic designer, I wanted to customize the text around the photo to give it a little bit of a special touch, and they were able to accommodate this and send me a digital preview as well. Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!

We originally discovered www.azbestdj.com through a Google search and got those good vibes when we did a 15 minute video chat before we booked. After we booked, Working with our DJ was a breeze—super chill and gave us total confidence in planning our ceremony and reception music to our taste. The wedding dance floor was a hit, and the music was absolutely fantastic. We hit a minor snag at the first 5 or 10 seconds start of the ceremony with the wireless microphone acting up, but our DJ swiftly pulled out a second backup mic. Just 30 seconds into our pastor speaking, our DJ made the mic swap, and everything flowed smoothly. Major props for having that second backup and being on top of things!

Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!

The Team at Precise blend were amazing! They were timely, professional and were dressed up in a suit for our wedding. They include a logo of our name with a design they can add to the front of their both. It made our wedding set up look extra put together. They have an easy to use app so you can choose the music you want. You can even add more friends and family on the app so they can add music too. They go above and beyond too. James was able to remove the vocals on a song so that the live singer could use it to sing our first dance song. The most important part, they had the best music going continuously at the right times. The dance floor was full at my wedding the entire time even though the AC stopped working in the hall and it was really hot in there. After my reception, everyone wanted to keep dancing, they didn’t want to stop! The DJ James, made the reception so much fun. My friends and family still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding! I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and will use them for my events in the future!

The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.

Felix & Fingers was the best addition to my wedding! We had a BLAST. It’s the best mix between a live band and sing along karaoke (but you don’t want your uncle to get the mic, you know?). They did beautiful ceremony music, incredible sax jazz during cocktail hour to keep it classy. Then, they kept everyone engaged and entertained for the reception, from my aunt in a walker to my college friends twerking. We danced the night away but lost our voices from screaming along with the songs too. 10/10 you can’t go wrong with dueling pianos - DJs and wedding bands are out, Felix & Fingers is IN!

This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.

Manny and his team were amazing. Before the wedding he made sure to ask if we wanted specific songs for different parts of the ceremony and reception. We didn’t have a ton of specific songs, but we made a list of music with the vibes we wanted. Manny took the list, ran with it, and really took care of us. The dance floor was packed all night! He even played Tagalog pop songs and managed sound for a Filipino folk dance group. We also loved the little details like the template for our photo booth photos, the lights for the dance floor, and our initials projected on the wall. He created a timeline for our wedding that was so helpful because I did not have a day--of coordinator. He even gave my brother some pointers since it was his first time being an officiant. The party was so much fun, the music was great, his lighting was awesome, and all of our guests enjoyed the photobooth. 10/10 would recommend!

Christina was one of the first vendors I booked through Zola and I am so lucky and happy to have found her! I wanted to have both live music and a DJ set at the reception, and many people told me I couldn’t for varrying reasons. But when I found L Rock Entertainment’s page, I knew it was the perfect fit for my dream wedding. Christina has amazing DJ skills and plays guitar and sings beautifully! We customized the package to have her duo Modern Highway play for cocktail hour then the DJ set. She was very communicative throughout the whole process, helping me with my timeline as I planned my own wedding. The day of, the band played beautiful guitar live during our first look, something we didn’t plan but Christina went with the flow like a true professional. The live music was perfect for cocktail hour and then DJ set was BANGING! Everyone on the dance floor came up to me at some point complimenting her perfect beat matching and transitions. Richard did an initial call with my partner to discuss the general vibe we were looking for, and we knew immediately he would be a great fit for our wedding. Richard gave us a helpful questionnaire to fill out key songs and general musical interests (and do not play songs). Richard was also happy to jump on calls with us to talk through our questions and hopes for our big day. I especially appreciated that Richard was able to play some German songs for some guests who had flown in from Germany, as that got even some of our older relatives on the dance floor. People were partying all night thanks to Richard! Richard catered to our wide age range of guests, and even gave us a couple of bonus closing songs that were the perfect conclusion to the night. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Tiger is the best DJ ive ever seen at a wedding. Ive been to a million. He can tailor the playlist hugely based on what you like and keep things fresh. He also has no issue picking the perfect songs to lure people out onto the dance floor and KEEP THEM THERE. also his cocktail hour music was soo fun and dinner music was fantastic. He's also just super flexible if you need to add songs or swap them or change up the schedule. Hes just the best energy and super funny also. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of music and will know and have any song you ever request. And if it just came out like two days ago he can quickly download it also. To sum it up, looking for a cool DJ is almost impossible, this guy is going to give you a good DJ set without any effort from you, he will just bring the party with him.

Let's get to the point, shall we? There were so many involved in the planning process that we didn't know where to start. I skip to looking for our DJ process. I thought it would be easygoing but there are so many DJs to choose from. I asked a friend if he knew anyone and had mentioned of a wedding out in Redwood City where Taj had the crowd going. So we met with Taj and was a complete Godsend. Not only was he professional, he made my wife and I chuckle as he is a humorous person in good fashion. He also gave us a ton of ideas that made so much sense that we did not think about ourselves. We hired him on the spot and thanked him for his time. He was early and on time with his wonderful wife. He had already unloaded and was waiting on the staff! Fast forward to the reception, we had a wonderful time, my grandparents never dance and they outlasted almost everybody on the dancefloor! Wedding was a success, my wife and her guests were happy. Happy wife, happy life indeed! Thanks to Taj.

We are a husband and wife videography team who worked with DJ Rockalot at a wedding in October 2020. He is by far the best DJ we have worked with, and we highly recommend him! He reached out to us in advance of the wedding to discuss audio recording options through his system, which is extremely important to us as videographers. On the day of the wedding he was very friendly and accommodating to help us plug in our recorder to capture audio for the ceremony and toasts. It ended up being the cleanest audio we've gotten out of a DJ board. He also had the coolest DJ set up with lights and played great music. If you want a memorable event, especially if you are planning to hire a videographer, we encourage you to choose DJ Rockalot!
