About Ruby Wedding & Party Band
Ruby Wedding & Party Band
Ruby band plays Weddings in the 9-county San Francisco Bay Area including Marin and Silicon Valley; as well as Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and Monterey-Carmel. The band features the vocals of recording artists Stephanie Hammack (of Flock of Seagirls fame), Maddy Hudson (of American Idol fame). All players & singers in the band are talented experienced entertainers and musicians who have performed in over 200 venues in Nor. Cal. and collectively have performed at more than 100 weddings. We perform as 7-piece without a horn section, and as 10-piece with our 3-piece horn section that features Grammy-winning players.
All the hits from Motown to Modern Pop! We're a classy music band mainly known for three things: (1) Fantastic singers and vocal harmonies (2) Getting your guests out of their seats and onto the dance floor for longer than they knew they could! (3) Diverse songlist that spans genres and time era's with authentic instrumentation from our having keyboards, two guitars, and our optional horn section.

4 hr Cocktail+Reception/ 1.5 hr drive

Package covers cocktail hour and reception. Band is on premises available to play 4 hours less breaks. Venue within 1.5 hr drive of Pleasanton or Dublin. Program: (A) 45 minutes at Cocktail Hour (example 5:00pm - 5:45pm) (B) 3 hour Reception which consists of 3 sets, with 2 breaks (one of them a 20-min dinner break) or 2 sets with one dinner break. During breaks we can play recorded music. Our dinner break can extend to 30+ minutes and we can arrange for DJ (extra fee) or you provide.

5.5 hour Ceremony/ Cocktail/ Reception

Covers all the bases. Band on premises 7 hrs available to play for 5-5.5 hours less breaks. Venue within 1.5 hr drive of Pleasanton. Program: (A) Live music as people enter Ceremony area, during Processional, and during Recessional. (B) 1 hour live music for Cocktail Hour or Dinner. (C) 3 hrs live music during Reception, less breaks. Consists of 2 - 3 music sets with pauses for toasts, etc. Our dinner break can extend to 30+ minutes and we can arrange for DJ (extra fee) or you provide.

Hands down -- the best band we could have hired!
My wife and I went in search of an incredible wedding band and we found it with Ruby Wedding and Party Band. The whole team, from the lead singers to the sound and light techs, was amazing to work with. Every step of the way they were courteous, on top of the details, and available to hop on a Zoom or respond to an email with our venue and our wedding planner. They took it upon themselves to make sure power and sound were all taken care of *and* they even tried to make sure we had tenting for the outdoor wedding (it wasn't even their job) just to take a load off of our plate. I'd hire this band again and again, and, if they'll do it for our 5 or 10 year wedding anniversary. Thanks!

I used to play guitar in Ruby Band. Joel, Andreea and the band have an incredible energy and cover a mulititude of songs. I highly recommend them!
