I' m Courtney, a photographer based in Salt Lake City Utah where I live with my husband and English bulldog, Winston. I began photographing at the age of 10 years old when I picked up my first pink camera from toys r us. I did little photoshoots with the neighbor kids and boy has that been one of the best decisions yet. I have been a professional photographer for 5 years. Capturing love, couples, self-love sessions, and so many incredible stories. Photography is the gift that keeps on giving. I have made the deepest connections and friendships, and been blessed with the opportunity to story tell and create art full-time.

Courtney did our engagements and our wedding day and it was beyond anything we could have hoped for! She was so intentional about making sure we were a right fit and we fell in love the moment we met her! She made us feel so comfortable and she was incredibly efficient! She made sure to capture every moment that was so important to us and we know that every photo will be magical. She coached us, cheered us on, and is a wonderful friend. If you want to feel like the only couple in the world, you should book her! Her photos really are absolutely priceless.

I am honored that you have made it here and are taking the time to look around to see exactly what I have to offer; from wedding photography to elopements, to couple sessions, or anything else you feel the need that deserves to be documented! My heart is extremely full at the fact that I get to wake up everyday and call this my job! I’m a Nashville wedding photographer with a big passion for travel.

Saul is beyond amazing to work with and genuinely great company during the photoshoot. He makes the shoot feel so natural and effortless. We absolutely love our photos. Our jaw dropped when we saw our couples session photos. They look like shots out of a movie scene! It means so much to us that we could have our special moments captured so perfectly for us to keep forever.

Betsy Newman Photography

  • Serves San Francisco, CA

Betsy is a lifestyle, wedding, and music photographer based in Los Angeles. She discovered photography as a creative outlet while studying theater at USC. Shortly after graduation, Betsy was hired as the tour photographer for Maroon 5 and documented 34 concerts across the country. Since then, Betsy has been on the road with One Direction, One Republic, Charlie Puth, and most recently Trevor Noah. Betsy's eye for candid moments and storytelling has led to photographing weddings around the world. She lives for documenting life and love through the lens. Betsy looks forward to hearing from you and bringing your vision to life!

I am writing this review wayyyy too late (over 2 years after my engagement photos were taken) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Betsy all the love and praise she deserves. Betsy photographed our engagement photos and would have done our wedding as well if she wasn’t already booked. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Betsy previously and she was always so fun, easy to work with and matched my energy on every level! She gets so excited when she knows she is ‘getting the shot’ that you can’t help but get excited too. I had a very specific vision for our engagement photos and she was 100% on board to make it happen. I love the photos so much and will treasure them forever as they document a very exciting time in our lives. I absolutely love working with Betsy and will definitely be booking her again in the future!

Briana Purser Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,900
  • Serves San Francisco, CA

Honest storytelling meets editorial portraiture is the core of what I do. I love a powerful portrait as much as I love real, honest exchanges between loved ones. The big moments get all the attention but what really fills my cup is the small, fleeting moments in between. Your wedding day is just 24 short hours & I want you to relax, be present, & soak it all up. Trust that I will be your eyes & ears, observing it all & documenting your day as it unfolds organically. Because in the end, your photographs will be the memory you are left with & the best ones will not only remind you of what the day looked like, but what it FELT like to be there.

Briana did an amazing job capturing special moments from our wedding. We couldn't be happier with our photos! Nothing felt posed or overproduced, and it resulted in natural, artful photos that beautifully captured all of the emotions of the day. Briana and her team also had such a calming presence on the day of the wedding, and it made me feel at ease, as I don't always love being in the spotlight or being photographed. Briana is incredibly talented, and we're so grateful that she was part of capturing our wedding day!

Hi! My names Marissa, and I have one of the coolest jobs around - hanging out with people on their wedding day! I love iced coffee and Jamie Fraser and spend my spare time reading or hanging out with my horse!

We had the best experience working with Marissa for our wedding! For one, she has an amazing personality - she is fun and lighthearted, so easygoing, AND also very responsible and on top of things (which I so appreciate)! For two, we had the unfortunate timing with COVID of having to postpone our wedding and our engagement shoot, and she made it super easy. She helped me many times in the planning process, from walking through the timeline, to picking out my bridesmaid dress color. Day of, she contributed so well to the fun vibe of the day, kept us on time and therefore not stressing out, and captured some AMAZING photos of us! She also captured so many awesome candids during our day, that looking back you can really see and remember how people felt, what the vibe of the day was, and the funny things that happened too (like when my friend spilled white wine on my dress and Marissa came to the rescue with napkins;)) Thank you so much Marissa!

I've never been much for tradition, so you can imagine weddings were never really my "thing" when I first picked up a camera. Luckily, I found that the wedding industry has been evolving away from the old cookie-cutter format and that is what keeps me doing what I do. My favorite weddings are the ones where you & your partner's personalities show throughout the day rather than getting lost in all the things you "have" to do. I love being part of a day filled with so much love & excitement and what I aim to do is find you in all of it. Because weddings aren't about fitting into a mold anymore - they're about you getting to celebrate your love.

In our search for a wedding photographer, Sarah's artistic style caught my eye right away. She offers a blended service of candid and semi-posed photographs which matched how we hoped to capture our wedding day moments. From our first phone call and in-person consultation, Sarah put us at ease. She helped organize our style preferences and 'must-capture' moments as we planned for the wedding. Her questionnaire helped bring focus in the planning phase and on the wedding day, we knew we were in good hands. I highly recommend Sarah's services, she has an eye for the little details you want to remember and she was discrete during the ceremony and reception while snapping candids (which I appreciated as someone who gets nervous in front of a camera!). We are so pleased with our photos and had a great time working together with Sarah.

Life is full of amazing moments. Moments we want to hang onto tight, moments we want to never forget, moments we want to be able to re-experience anytime. There is a way to do just that - photography. How often have we looked at a photo and the whole memory comes flooding back? How often does a photo make us laugh or cry? When we share photos with others, they want to know more about the moment. We share the stories, and in doing so, we bring them in on the memory too.

Without Angela & James my wedding would have been postponed or cancelled. Angela gave me info to help my wedding possible in the time of COVID. And let me tell you... they are TRULY A BLESSING. The best investment we made for the wedding was photography. I told my husband that was something I would not budge on and I’m glad I didn’t, Angela and James became like friends to us. I text Angela on the holidays and even when my son was born! They pay so much attention to detail that looking back at my photos they captured moments that I didn’t even realize were a part of my wedding. Their turnaround time is remarkable, all the sneak peaks made me want to see more and more and when I got the final photos I was in awe of all of them. Thank you to Angela & James for capturing the beautiful moments of our wedding!!!! Such genuine people and I’m glad that we met them and built a friendship!!!!

I'm a San Francisco bay area based wedding photographer. However, I am available for travel anywhere! Passport is ready and willing! Truth: I am slightly obsessed with all things girly, and anything that sparkles. Ok, well, maybe it's not slightly, more like severely. I think it's because I live in a house full of boys; I have an amazing hubby and 3 little men. Shooting weddings and seeing people on their amazing day is my happy place. When I'm shooting your wedding I want it to be so fun and relaxed that you are able to enjoy the process.

Brooke and Laurel photographed our wedding in November 2023 at Casa Real in Pleasanton, CA. We started at 10am and ended around 9pm (a long day!!). Brooke was extremely communicative and detailed oriented through the entire planning process. On the wedding day, Brooke and Laurel were awesome the entire time, guiding us through lighting, poses, and making sure everything was captured. They were also extremely nice, and it was so much fun to work with them. Highly recommend!!

I'm a Bay Area native born and raised with a small stint in NY but I'm back, however continually on the move! I was raised by a single parent with my two sisters so family means absolutely everything thing to me. They are literally my biggest supporters and ultimate hype crew.

Torez's services are so much more than simply taking photos. She takes the time to get to know your story as a couple and your overall vision for your wedding She also maintained steady communication over the 8 month process with an initial zoom meeting followed by questionnaires and resources to assist with the planning process. It was so helpful to have the online guide as a foundation for our DIY wedding. Closer to the wedding she worked behind the scenes with our wedding coordinator to make everything flow seamlessly. On the day of, she brought her sister to assist with capturing behind-the-scenes footage and they both had the best energy! I felt very relaxed with them the whole day. All of our photos felt perfectly posed with very little fuss over or too much effort! Reflecting on the photos, I'm really impressed with all the candid moments she captured as we adventured around the city. Overall, Torez is a professional down to earth person who is genuinely excited to capture your love. I'm so glad we trusted her with being part of our special day!!

Right after graduating from CSU Sacramento in 2012 (with a BA in Photography, might I add!), I did photography as a side-hustle while working a couple of various jobs: part-time as a Summer camp counselor and full-time at a medical device company. After getting married in 2016, I moved to Modesto with my husband since he was working there at the time. Because of the move, I had to leave my jobs in the East Bay. I took this move to the Central Valley as a sign that I should do photography full-time. So, since 2017, I've been a full-time wedding photographer. We are now in beautiful Sonoma County!

Oh geez, I don't know where to start with how much I loved working with Diane! We originally worked with her for our engagement shoot, and from the beginning she was responsive and all of her communication was detailed and transparent. She put so much time into getting to know my partner and I so that she could capture us in a genuine manner, and also so that she could help us feel as comfortable as possible taking photos (it was our first time taking photos professionally, and neither of us is super comfortable in front of a camera). Taking the photos was so much fun, and her final product captured that so incredibly well. We were OBSESSED with the photos. Her Instagram really captured her skill and artistry because we saw them in our final products, too. Working with her for our wedding was such a clear choice! In the process of preparing for the wedding, she again collected so many details from us to make sure she understood what kinds of photos we wanted, and her timeline for the day ran perfectly! We got every shot we wanted, and she checked in along the way to also get any photos we hadn't thought about leading up to the wedding. She is an absolute PRO!!! Not only that, but she brought so much joy, light, and fun to the day. Our guests loved her too!! I heard so much from them after the fact about how they felt like she was somehow everywhere all at once, not a moment to be missed!! The wedding JUST happened, and we already have LOTS of sneak peeks that look incredible. We absolutely loved working with Diane, and seriously cannot recommend her more highly. She is an absolute joy and gem, and we will absolutely be working with her in the future for any special occasions we want help capturing. THANK YOU DIANE!!

Hilo & Ginger

Hilo & Ginger was founded by me in 2013. Born in Austria and raised around the world, the traveling gene has been soever present. I am based in New York City, shooting weddings & editorials worldwide.

Luca, at Hilo & Ginger, was an absolute gem to work with! You will not find a more versatile, go-with-the-flow, able to adapt to anything photographer. She is professional, hard-working and personable which really puts you at ease while you are posing and standing for tons of pictures throughout the day. Sometimes we didn't even know she was there capturing the greatest candid shot. Seriously, we cannot recommend her enough. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel stressed and Luca makes sure to alleviate any potential stress, while staying on top of her A game with every shot!! Luca never missed a single moment- not one. She captured moments that we didn't even know had existed, until we were looking over our photos together. She perfectly captured all the joy of our day in laughing candids, funny photos and still took some of the most gorgeous and breathtaking shots I've ever seen. Did I mention she did the entire shoot in the rain in freezing cold weather? Not once did she complain and the photos she took came out stunning. She was ready to work on the fly in any environment. Like I said, a no-stress wedding photographer is absolutely a MUST when it comes to weddings ladies, trust me! When my husband, James, and I got married in NYC, we were very worried that we would not be able to find a quality photographer in Manhattan that would fit our limited budget, but Luca exceeded our expectations in giving us a great deal that fit right within our budget and she gave us GORGEOUS photos. Not to mention she sent us some of the edited photos the same day...THE SAME DAY. I'm telling you, working with Luca was unlike any other experience I've had, witnessed at other weddings, or heard of from my friends. 10/10 would recommend. You would be foolish not to consider hiring Hilo & Ginger to make your wedding dreams come true.

Sam Sarkis Photography “Photography is more than a job for me, it is my passion! It is who I am as an individual. Some call me a friend or mentor; my family calls me a Father and a Husband. But everybody calls me a Photographer. That is who I am and what I am known for. As a young man growing I had a dream to capture the dreams of others and bring them to reality on film and canvass, this was what I was born to do. Each day I walk into my studio, I thank God for allowing me the privilege of living out my dreams.”

-Overall: We loved working with Sam and his daughter Loreen – they were professional, kind, and captured so many wonderful moments at our May wedding. -Photo Style: We hired Sam and Loreen for our wedding photos for their cinematic qualities. We looked at several photographers, but we saw a lot of photos that looked like they could have been taken with an iPhone. Sam is different - his style is classic photography, and Loreen's attention to detail really complimented Sam's style. -Working with Sam and Loreen: We did many portraits as a couple and with our wedding party, and Sam and Loreen worked the room during our cocktail hour and reception. In addition, we interviewed Sam and he reassured us that working with my brother, Seth, who is autistic, wouldn't be a problem - and it wasn't! Sam and Loreen gave great, clear instruction, which is always helpful and appreciated.

If you're searching for a photographer who will make you feel comfortable, cool, and let you thrive as your true selves, hello, you've come to the right place! I genuinely want to forge a connection, hang with you, and earn your trust. I'll capture everything, and I'll be there for you whether you need a safety pin or someone to wipe away your tears.

Where do I even start?! Our journey with Sydney began 3 years ago when we fell in love with her style and video chatted with her before hiring her to take our engagement photos. From the very beginning, Sydney felt like a good friend, made us feel totally comfortable, and had amazing ideas for great photos. We were above and beyond happy with our photos and couldn't wait for her to shoot our wedding. Our wedding day finally came around and OH. MY. GOD. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful our photos are! She knew exactly what I liked and somehow managed to capture all the little details and ALL THE LOVE perfectly! I've had multiple people tell me that her photos are the best they've ever seen! Every single one! There weren't just some good photos, they were ALL good! Sydney is very communicative, open to changes, easily reachable, and will work hard to make you happy! Thank you so much for allowing us to relive our perfect day! <3

A&H Photo Co.

We're Ammy & Hien, a husband & wife wedding photographer team. Our photography style is natural, fun, and modern. We use a mixture of photojournalism (candid, documentary) and organically posed portraits to create a wedding day album that makes our couples both look and feel like rockstars.

The best choice we ever made was to get married, and the second best choice we made was to hire Ammy & Hien as our wedding photographers. After securing our date and venue we began searching for a photography vendor right away because it was one of the highest priorities for us. I don’t know how to review Ammy & Hien without sounding like I’m exaggerating my appreciation and respect for them but I genuinely feel so unbelievably lucky to have worked with them so reader beware-this gets gushy. We worked with A&H for both our engagement and wedding photography and they blew away our wildest expectations with both- for their photo quality, professionalism, and personalities. We are sad our wedding is over because it was so fun, but also because we won’t have an excuse to get together with these two in the near future again. We consider ourselves camera awkward people and their kindness and friendliness made us feel (and look!) so comfortable. They both took the time to get to know us to understand what we were expecting from our wedding photos and our experience working with them. On our wedding day- we felt their presence and didn’t feel their presence at the same time-in the best way. It was important to us to “go with the flow” of the day and make memories laughing/crying/dancing/eating/hugging etc. and not have memories missing out on important moments because we were being posed for photos. Ammy and Hien worked so well with this concept and our timeline (and the sudden timeline changes!) so that we didn’t feel pulled in any direction by them at all, but when we needed them they were there to get the important shots and to provide delight and encouragement for our day. I remember multiples times during the day feeling my nerves creep up (as brides do) and I’d look over to see Ammy’s reassuring eyes and feel her calm energy and instantly feel at ease. I remember multiples times having a blast on the dance floor or laughing at cocktail hour and catching a glance of Hien’s bright smile-he was taking our photo of course but it never felt like he was-just felt like another friend enjoying the moment with us. Hiring Ammy and Hien for any photography occasion-especially a big celebration like a wedding-will be a brilliant decision for you that will benefit you in more ways that you expected. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts A&H for everything you did to prepare for our wedding, the way you showed up the day of, and the beautiful photographs we will have to remember the best day ever-forever. We know you both went completely above and beyond and we’ll be forever grateful.
