I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have a team of talented wedding photographers with a passion for capturing your life’s biggest moments and all your candid in betweens. Choosing a wedding photographer is more than just hiring someone with a camera to document your day. They should be someone who inspires you, helps ease wedding day jitters, and is your biggest fan, empowering you to be in the moment, while capturing what you want to remember forever, with creativity, boldness, and authenticity.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we started planning our wedding, Anna and the team at Hey Honey Photography were an absolute joy to work with. She was an excellent communicator even through COVID and our wedding date shifting multiple times. We could not be happier with our wedding photos, we are absolutely obsessed! All of our images came out so beautiful, Anna captured the day even better than we imagined. She not only photographed every detail, she also surprised us with a very sweet card and a sneak peek of our photos with some beautiful polaroids she took that brought us to tears. We absolutely loved working with Anna, she was very professional, sweet, and her work is amazing. We also used her services for our engagement photos and they came out beautifully as well. We highly recommend Hey Honey Photography!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.

I am an East Coast transplant wedding photographer based in the SF Bay area. I’m super laid back and kind of a goofball… I like to have fun during my photo sessions to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jess. We used her for not only our engagement photos & wedding but our pregnancy announcement, maternity photos with both my babies, & newborn photos. I know Zola is a wedding website so I will keep it wedding related. She’s professional & fun. She makes you feel beautiful & comfortable but also makes you feel like she’s not even there. She captures every tiny detail and is true master at finding the perfect lighting. If her photos aren’t a testament to her work just trust me (a complete stranger to you) when I say “book her now!”

With a candid style and two decades of professional photography experience, my passion is capturing real moments and creating photos that tell your story. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am proud to work in the diverse communities here, and welcome the diversity of my clients who are looking to both honor past family traditions as well as create some of their own. My approach to wedding photography is simple; the day of the wedding is about two people coming together to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones, and photos are about connection and trust. My goal is to have your photographs remind you of how you felt that day.

Sonya was truly a pleasure to work with and we are extremely glad we went with her over all the other photographers out there. We were first interested in her when we saw her online portfolio and liked her style. Afterwards, we met her in-person to ask questions and go over the whole process. Sonya was extremely pleasant to talk to with her warm and professional demeanor. She answered all our questions and went over the contract with us in great detail. After deciding to go with her, Sonya reached out to set an engagement shoot date. The engagement shoot went smoothly and Sonya never rushed us or seemed in a rush. Even when we went over the designated hours set for us, she stayed until we finished going throughout the entire place we went to. Of course the photos all turned out great and we even used a few inside the wedding as features. On the day of the wedding, Sonya showed up exactly on time with her assistant photographer. She is very professional, personable, and wonderful to work with! In between our ceremony and reception, we were able to do a 20-min photoshoot. Sonya knew immediately which shots to take and the photoshoot went very, very smoothly. She has amazing attention to detail and she knows exactly what she is doing. After we received the photos back from her, we loved her work and had so many amazing photos to choose from! Overall, we give our highest recommendation to Sonya! Additionally, she replies very quickly to inquiries and when we were planning the wedding. It was great to have quick communication. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Sonya!!!

I am an Oklahoma born, but Cali raised - dancer, roller skater, photography stylist, photographer, momma to two little girls, foodie, crafter, lover of laughter, action and pyscho-thriller movie watcher, and sports player. I also find peace in the outdoors and California trees. I like to keep it active and adventurous. I believe in giving 110% at everything I do, but also want it to be fun. I chose photography to be my vocation because I have a true obsession with humans and the way we love, interact, and celebrate rituals personal to our families and cultures. I stand up for equality and justice for BIPOC and LGBTTQQIAAP.

Joy was so amazing from start to finish! We booked Joy and her team for our Engagement session and Wedding Day. She helped brainstorm ideas for the engagement shoot and made all our visions a reality with bomb photos of us featuring my husbands old school. As all brides know, the planning experience can be stressful and full of anxiety dealing with multiple vendors - but I never had that experience working with Joy. I 100% trusted her to capture our big day. I’ve heard stories from other brides about “I wish our photographer did this, was able to take photos of that..” but not with Joy! She communicated great leading up to and on the big day. Everywhere I looked Joy and her team was on the move capturing the best shots in the right spots. Our photos turned out amazing and we were so happy to have Joy there with us on such a memorable day. I highly recommend and trust Joy for any photo sessions, whether it’s family holiday shoots, grad photos, engagement sessions and wedding day! She is an absolute gem, so talented and pleasure to work with!

Katherine is incredible to work with. She took our photos for our elopement in the San Francisco, California courthouse and she made the process so smooth!! We had no idea where to go, where the best picture spots were, etc- but Katherine had it all laid out, she even told us where the best spot to park is. She is so easy going, makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and took the absolute best photos. Seriously- she exceeded our expectations and I am in LOVE with our photos. I’m so excited for your special day! This is not just another transaction to me - I’m here to support you every step of the way. You want to have a Star Wars themed wedding? I’m here for it! You wanna elope in the Dolomites in Italy? I’ll all in! I want you to have the best experience and I’m here to empower you to do what feels most like you, because I care about you.

Awarded Best of Zola
My partner and I decided this was our year to elope.... and we were in search of a photographer to capture the ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. I looked on instagram geo tag of SF City Hall and saw really cute photos of other couples getting married. When I clicked into them, the majority of the ones I liked were taken by Joyce. I had my partner reach out to Joyce and she quickly responded and provided us very detailed information about the services she offers. We told her we wanted to proceed and she did a quick meet and greet over the phone to get to know more about us and our story. It was a very sweet and personable touch that I really appreciated. During the photoshoot, my partner and I were coached by Joyce on how to pose and where to stand. She even pays attention to the little details of hand and foot placement as well as gestures. She's very sweet and creative. We really appreciated her guidance since my partner and I are not comfortable having photos taken. Joyce had brought her partner Olivia to help her take photos. She was also very sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to help us hold our belongings as well as guide us during our photoshoot at our second location at Sutro Baths. Both Joyce and Olivia were kind enough to squeeze in photos of our immediate families as well without additional fees. She even made cute gifs of our kids circling us while we spun and kissed. The photos came out amazing and are very playful and cutesy. I am very glad we went worked with Joyce for our Elopement. I highly recommend her to document any of your special events. FYI: She offers really nice packages to fit your special days needs as well as guided dates which would be cute for a photo session on vacation.

She is such a kind person and very easy to get along with. Many compliments from our wedding party on how great she was. She was also very quick to edit and deliver our photos. My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

Their passion and dedication were clear in every aspect, from the carefully planned photo setups to the spontaneous video moments they were able to capture. I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn captured our elopement in November 2024 at Timber Cove Inn. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, and was very small (just us and our kids) we wanted to keep things simple, focusing on the beauty of the landscape with a simple, sweet ceremony. Cherlyn absolutely nailed it - she captured the vibe we were going for perfectly and the photos are absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the photos and the experience as a whole. She made us so comfortable and that led to great photos where we look at ease, which is just how we felt.

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Connie was so awesome to work with! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to communicate with and always responded to my emails quickly. When my wedding day rolled around she was at the venue on time and got to work. She was patient with everything going on, she had an assistant as well that was great! I told Connie that I was worried about taking pictures because I never considered myself photogenic, she told me not to worry. She did a great job! The pictures turned out beautiful! I love them! Now the hard part is choosing which ones to print.

I recently worked with Kathy for an engagement photoshoot at SF City Hall. She was incredibly flexible when we arrived late, which we really appreciated. She took the time to capture a wide variety of shots around the area, and her friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable. She also provided helpful directions during the shoot, making it a fun outing overall. Thank you for your hard work! (Added my favorite photo. I like the motion of it which is quite apt given we were dancing, and the lighting is romantically moody.)

We are so happy we chose Warm Heart Photography (Diep) for both our engagement and wedding day photos. For our engagement shoot, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and was very accommodating--even bringing a quick-change tent! She made sure to capture every shot we wanted from our shot list, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning and ethereal (exactly like we had envisioned). On our wedding day, Warm Heart Photography was equally amazing. Despite the hectic environment, Diep and her second shooter came prepared, was professional and adapted seamlessly to the ever changing environment. They worked hard to get every shot on our list, and the photos turned out beautiful and candid. (There were so many nice shots, that it was hard to choose our favorites!) They did such an amazing job with capturing everything on the day. We didn't have time to soak in everything around us, but with the photos, we were able to relive the day! Diep has a great work ethic and we wouldn't hesitate to refer her to our friends and family. We're so grateful for her talent, dedication, and kindness throughout the entire process. I love creating images with movement that capture the heart and soul, the candid moments, the playfulness and personality. So get ready to adventure and let's tell your story!

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Carrie as our wedding photographer, and also have done an engagement photo session with her. We're both somewhat camera shy, and didn't know quite what to expect with a photo session, but we had a wonderful time with Carrie and enjoyed the whole experience immensely. She has been fast to respond and stay in touch, and we just got our engagement photos today. Among the comments we've already received are "wow, those are the most beautiful engagement photos I've ever seen!" What initially attracted us to Carrie was the excitement and enthusiasm she had from when we first met, and she's maintained that same attitude through every interaction we've had with her. We enjoyed working with Carrie for both our engagement session at a regional park as well as our wedding photos at an old church and rose garden. She took indoor and outdoor pictures well, and captured fun moments and interesting angles that highlighted the locations we chose well.

Welcome. "I BELIEVE...connection matters. Photos tell our story and carry our legacy. Melanin matters on camera. Every human deserves to be seen. 8 out of 10 humans say they feel awkward in front of the camera; Laughter is the antidote." It is my loud passion to capture the personality of relationship...within couples, families, communities, and even organizations. And I have been this way since I was a kid. With my hot pink camera in tow, 8-year old me would capture the loud joy of my BIG extended family. Little did I know...they were my training ground in photography. And I am happy to say that my approach to photography hasn't changed.

Working with Brandi and her team has been an absolute pleasure! We've collaborated on five events together, and each time has been an effortless and seamless experience. When I popped the question about her availability for my own wedding, her enthusiastic response sealed the deal. From the moment my wife met Brandi over Zoom, she knew we had found our perfect match. Her warmth and professionalism shone through, and it was evident that she was not just a talented photographer but also someone with whom we could easily connect. Our wedding day was captured beautifully, with every moment immortalized in stunning photographs that we will cherish forever. Such was the impact of Brandi's work that we didn't hesitate to book her again for my wife's birthday celebration in November 2023. Once more, she delivered beyond our expectations, capturing the essence of the occasion flawlessly. If you're in search of a photographer who not only has an eye for detail but also possesses a wonderful personality, look no further than Brandi. She's attentive, creative, and a joy to work with. Trust me, hiring Brandi will be one of the best decisions you make for your special day!

Hi, I'm Christina Hernandez, and I am passionate about emotional, documentary photography. After working 15 years as a staff photojournalist at the San Francisco Chronicle, I've taken my years of experience to create rich, memorable images for my couples. My goal is to create a photo gallery that tells YOUR story. You are unique and your images should be, too. I cry at weddings. I can't help it! I get emotionally invested and I won't apologize for it. It allows me to get into the zone where I am completely immersed in the moment and I strive to make images that reflect that. I love being inspired by new locations, and I go with the flow.

Christina was amazing, her photos are beautiful and she is so wonderful to work with! We didn't really know what wedding photos we wanted specifically, and she just curated us and the photos, and they turned out brilliantly. She isn’t intrusive during the ceremony, we didn’t even notice her and nor did our guests -yet there were so many photos! She is very responsive to emails, texts and calls. She does great check-ins and even asked if we needed help with anything the day before. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Offbeat Photography with a Narrative Twist. I've been having fun photographing weddings for over 18 years. I find the excitement, nervousness, love, and joy inspiring to create great photographs that tell a story. I have been in love with photography since I've been a kid. Since then I have photographed actors, film directors, authors, and some very unique characters that have informed my perspective on life.

Awarded Best of Zola
Pat was amazing at our wedding, she'd show up at places, corners you never expected her to be, she'd hang from the ceiling if she could get a better shot! We felt like movie stars with the paparazzi's on us at all time! She shot from beginning to the end of the wedding party and came out with over 500 beautiful photos we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Patricia, you really captured to mood and what we worked so hard for to create a memorable wedding for everyone with the focus on us but also all of our guests and the three phases of the wedding. You did a AMAZING job!

Relationships and Connection - most important in life. That's what my photography is about. Love, joy, sweetness, tenderness - emotions to capture and communicate. These are what you want to see in pictures.

We met Eliot back in 2008 when he photographed our engagement and wedding photos. They turned out so beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests. We recently hired him to photograph my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary banquet, and once again, he did not disappoint with his work. He is patient and skilled with lighting, flexible and accommodates large parties, and is a natural at his craft. We would highly recommend Eliot to be your photographer for any special occasion.

We couldn't be happier with our wedding photographer, AJ! He was an absolute pro, expertly capturing every moment despite WIND, weather, difficult guests, and me and my husband’s different skin tones, making sure we both looked our best. He handled everything with ease, made us feel super comfortable and taken care of, and he delivered absolutely stunning shots that exceeded all our expectations! Every single photo we received was amazing—truly more than we could have asked for

Want a trusted, unobtrusive, thoughtful pro photographer friend on your wedding day? Someone to capture the way the wedding FEELS as well as it looks. A little direction during portrait time, a little leadership during family portraits, and near invisibility all other times? I think you’re onto something. I’m in. What's exciting? What’s important? What's confusing? Let’s sit down for a discovery meeting and I’ll ask, listen, lay out options, and share suggestions. I want to learn about you. I'm on your team 100% before, during, and after your wedding. Bonus: I've shot 400+ practice weddings before yours and I absolutely LOVE what I do!

We found Olivia to be a wonderful, skilled photographer! Her eye for composition is creative, yet she demonstrated the connectiveness of us as a couple. The one thing that stands out is how Olivia totally put us at ease by using innovative ways to relax us as we were posing. She had us, as we were holding a position close to each other, to tell each other 3 things we love and appreciate about each other. This of course brought smiles and was totally relaxing and sincere. She made us so relaxed and comfortable . As a result , the photos look completely natural. We actually became engaged the afternoon, immediately after these photos were taken. She made the moment so relaxing and magical. It was serendipity. I recommend her highly, and will be spreading the word amongst my friends and contacts. We will treasure these photos forever.

My style is natural and photojournalistic. I love capturing unscripted moments because those are the type of photos that tell a richer story of your day. Working with me means nothing overly posed, nothing awkward, nothing that doesn't feel like YOU. While we'll spend some time doing portraits, my priority is for you to be present and enjoy your wedding day. I like to shoot discreetly with an emphasis on candids so from the moment you first see each other to that last hilarious toast, you’ll be relaxed and focused on one another and not even noticed I’m there.

We cannot recommend Vivian highly enough for your wedding photography! We had multiple guests compliment her professionalism and stealthiness on the day of the wedding. Vivian’s calm demeanor was MUCH appreciated on the hectic wedding day. She is a superstar. She made sure we didn’t fall behind with our timeline even though we had requested a large number of portraits. Even though we’re a bit camera awkward Vivian was great at posing us and guests for shots. But where Vivian really shines is all of the candid shots that capture the pure joy and excitement of the day! She was so fast to provide us with our wedding photos, and we love looking back at them. The photos are framed well, have true to life coloring, and are just beautiful.

Wanderlust and a social curiosity led me to study photojournalism in the American West where I fell in love with people and places; everything from the way we live and work, build and break, love and pray. Here's to you!

I love our photos of my daughter Anna and her husband Zach's wedding reception. Due to Covid we waited a long time to celebrate, and I was so glad we chose Luke George Photography. I highly recommend Luke, He is professional and fun. He is able to capture the moment and not be intrusive, His pictures are so detailed, using a variety of views such as panoramic and aerial drone. He photographed all the aspects of Anna and Zach's reception and did a fantastic job. His fees are reasonable, and he was generous with his time, not charging extra, and even staying longer than his time was contracted. Thanks Luke

I highly recommend Julia for wedding photography. She was easy to work with, and helped us feel more comfortable even though neither of us like being the center of attention. She also came early to both locations to scope out the best spots to take pictures and helped us through the pre-wedding planning process with ease. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding!
