Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Isaac did a wonderful job photographing our backyard wedding. He did a brilliant job capturing my visions as well as brought ideas of his own. We are very grateful we were able to book Isaac for our wedding, he truly immortalized the day and we have so many beautiful photos to reflect on for the rest of our lives.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jess. We used her for not only our engagement photos & wedding but our pregnancy announcement, maternity photos with both my babies, & newborn photos. I know Zola is a wedding website so I will keep it wedding related. She’s professional & fun. She makes you feel beautiful & comfortable but also makes you feel like she’s not even there. She captures every tiny detail and is true master at finding the perfect lighting. If her photos aren’t a testament to her work just trust me (a complete stranger to you) when I say “book her now!”

With a candid style and two decades of professional photography experience, my passion is capturing real moments and creating photos that tell your story. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am proud to work in the diverse communities here, and welcome the diversity of my clients who are looking to both honor past family traditions as well as create some of their own. My approach to wedding photography is simple; the day of the wedding is about two people coming together to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones, and photos are about connection and trust. My goal is to have your photographs remind you of how you felt that day.

Sonya was truly a pleasure to work with and we are extremely glad we went with her over all the other photographers out there. We were first interested in her when we saw her online portfolio and liked her style. Afterwards, we met her in-person to ask questions and go over the whole process. Sonya was extremely pleasant to talk to with her warm and professional demeanor. She answered all our questions and went over the contract with us in great detail. After deciding to go with her, Sonya reached out to set an engagement shoot date. The engagement shoot went smoothly and Sonya never rushed us or seemed in a rush. Even when we went over the designated hours set for us, she stayed until we finished going throughout the entire place we went to. Of course the photos all turned out great and we even used a few inside the wedding as features. On the day of the wedding, Sonya showed up exactly on time with her assistant photographer. She is very professional, personable, and wonderful to work with! In between our ceremony and reception, we were able to do a 20-min photoshoot. Sonya knew immediately which shots to take and the photoshoot went very, very smoothly. She has amazing attention to detail and she knows exactly what she is doing. After we received the photos back from her, we loved her work and had so many amazing photos to choose from! Overall, we give our highest recommendation to Sonya! Additionally, she replies very quickly to inquiries and when we were planning the wedding. It was great to have quick communication. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Sonya!!!

I am an Oklahoma born, but Cali raised - dancer, roller skater, photography stylist, photographer, momma to two little girls, foodie, crafter, lover of laughter, action and pyscho-thriller movie watcher, and sports player. I also find peace in the outdoors and California trees. I like to keep it active and adventurous. I believe in giving 110% at everything I do, but also want it to be fun. I chose photography to be my vocation because I have a true obsession with humans and the way we love, interact, and celebrate rituals personal to our families and cultures. I stand up for equality and justice for BIPOC and LGBTTQQIAAP.

Joy Coakley was a dream to work with. She was professional, responsive and did an outstanding job. Her photography was stunning. I am pleased to recommend her and hope to see her at my venue often.

My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

My wife, Meredith, and I had the immense pleasure of working with EJ & Sarah Stavick for our wedding this year, and we cannot recommend Stavick Studios enough! From the very first interaction, EJ & Sarah's communication was exceptional. They made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, ensuring that every detail was covered and that our vision was understood. Their organizational skills were impeccable, leaving us stress-free and able to enjoy our big day. On the wedding day, their team was phenomenal. They were everywhere, capturing every special moment, yet they were so discreet that we barely noticed their presence. Their creativity and attention to detail were evident in every shot. The candid moments especially, were some of our favorites. When we received the teaser film and the photos, Meredith and I were left speechless. Their passion and dedication were clear in every aspect, from the carefully planned photo setups to the spontaneous video moments they were able to capture. I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hannah is a joy to work with. She completely understands that success for a team of wedding vendors is achieved by cooperating as a cohesive group and not as disparate individual vendors doing their own thing. Her friendly and optimistic demeanor motivates us all to perform our very best for our mutual clients. And the photos she takes are full of such life, perfectly capturing the spirit of the day - you almost feel like you were there!

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn captured our elopement in November 2024 at Timber Cove Inn. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, and was very small (just us and our kids) we wanted to keep things simple, focusing on the beauty of the landscape with a simple, sweet ceremony. Cherlyn absolutely nailed it - she captured the vibe we were going for perfectly and the photos are absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the photos and the experience as a whole. She made us so comfortable and that led to great photos where we look at ease, which is just how we felt.

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Connie was so awesome to work with! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to communicate with and always responded to my emails quickly. When my wedding day rolled around she was at the venue on time and got to work. She was patient with everything going on, she had an assistant as well that was great! I told Connie that I was worried about taking pictures because I never considered myself photogenic, she told me not to worry. She did a great job! The pictures turned out beautiful! I love them! Now the hard part is choosing which ones to print.

Hey, I'm Diep, the photographer at Warm Heart Photography. Based in Concord, California, I offer service around the Bay Area, and beyond. My goal is to sharpen my skills every day, serve my best, and create happy memories for my clients. Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to meeting you.

We are so happy we chose Warm Heart Photography (Diep) for both our engagement and wedding day photos. For our engagement shoot, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and was very accommodating--even bringing a quick-change tent! She made sure to capture every shot we wanted from our shot list, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning and ethereal (exactly like we had envisioned). On our wedding day, Warm Heart Photography was equally amazing. Despite the hectic environment, Diep and her second shooter came prepared, was professional and adapted seamlessly to the ever changing environment. They worked hard to get every shot on our list, and the photos turned out beautiful and candid. (There were so many nice shots, that it was hard to choose our favorites!) They did such an amazing job with capturing everything on the day. We didn't have time to soak in everything around us, but with the photos, we were able to relive the day! Diep has a great work ethic and we wouldn't hesitate to refer her to our friends and family. We're so grateful for her talent, dedication, and kindness throughout the entire process. Hey, I'm Marisa! I work with couples to help capture their dream wedding day! Most days you can find me drinking coffee in front of my computer editing the day away. If I’m not home in the SF Bay Area, I’m most likely in the Sierras or at a session off the grid. Outdoor adventures light up my soul! I basically live out of a duffle bag. In my free time you can find me drinking wine with friends, maybe on a run, laying around with my dog, near a lake or finding the best tacos.

We could not imagine working with any other photographer for our wedding! From our first video meeting to touch base, to our engagement shoot, and ultimately our wedding day, Marisa collaborated with us and other vendors with so much grace and a great sense of humor. She communicates clearly and punctually. We were particularly impressed with how she was able to wrangle our large families and get group photos together with confidence, but also captured the small, intimate moments so perfectly. We will forever cherish the photos that perfectly encapsulate the best day of our lives. Thank you so much, Marisa!

I recently worked with Kathy for an engagement photoshoot at SF City Hall. She was incredibly flexible when we arrived late, which we really appreciated. She took the time to capture a wide variety of shots around the area, and her friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable. She also provided helpful directions during the shoot, making it a fun outing overall. Thank you for your hard work! (Added my favorite photo. I like the motion of it which is quite apt given we were dancing, and the lighting is romantically moody.)
