Welcome to The Mitten Building! Originally built in 1890 as the Haigh Citrus Packing House, it later served as the Mitten Letter Factory from 1940 to 1980. The current owners restored the building, appreciating its historical charm, including its sturdy brick walls, exposed rafters, and extensive wood features. Since 2000, our family has hosted a variety of unique events in its versatile spaces, including the multilevel Main Room, the basement Speakeasy Bar, and the Summerbell Room with its lovely Garden Patio. Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant, sustainable Little Tokyo. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: This multi-purpose room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Historic South Central/ Exposition Park adjacent daylight studio is a light and airy creative space for photography and events. The space is a bright and fresh brick architectural building with wooden beams throughout, fresh painted white brick walls, and high sheen concrete floors — complete with a dressing room, lounge, bathrooms and parking. We can design custom lighting for your event and also provide professional audio services.

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.

Built in 1906, The Huron Substation is a stunning historical landmark originally used to serve downtown’s Yellow Car streetcar system. This one-of-a-kind building now offers guests the opportunity to experience the grandeur and majesty of a bygone era in Los Angeles, with modern amenities and style. The elegance and unique historical character of the building make it a perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. The main floor hosts a magnificent grand hall with century-old brick walls, arched windows, 8’ wide chandelier, concrete flooring, and 45-foot cathedral-like ceiling with exposed steel beams. A fire the building survived in the 1980s left a stunning black patina across the historic brick walls. An open staircase leads up to a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine above the main level. Large dramatic barn doors open up to the gorgeous outdoor courtyard with a planted garden, industrial deco fountain, and bistro lighting, the perfect space for an al fresco dining experience.

NES is a gorgeous raw space and blank canvas for your creative vision with warm natural diffused skylights (8), a private gated closed campus, and additional parking across the street (also used for valet).

Carondelet House is a 1928 Italian Villa right outside downtown LA. With warm wood floors, expansive rooms, exposed brick walls, two exterior courtyards, high exposed beam ceilings and a beautiful fireplace, this is one of the most unique event spaces in Los Angeles.
