With a passion for great wine, ethical farming, and hospitality, Barnstormer Winery was established in 2013 to embody these ideals. Located in a historic barn with roots stemming back to the early 1800′s, we have made significant renovations to preserve the integrity and atmosphere of this Seneca Lake gem while modernizing its aesthetic. We have a three acre “home farm” on the winery estate, along with rolling vineyards and rustic charm serving as the perfect backdrop to your elegant, low-key, casual. Our cozy barn provides a warm atmosphere to welcome guests to your special day, while our vast outdoor space houses a variety of possibilities for your ceremony and/or reception. Our vineyards provide a sense of tranquility and elegance, creating an ambiance that is distinctively romantic and celebratory. There is no place more beautiful than the Finger Lakes, and we are excited to bring a destination to the community where people can come together to enjoy each other, laugh and sip delicious artisan spirits. The venue also offers a tasting room with seating for 84 inside, a wall of full glass accordion doors that open to an outdoor balcony that seats 60, all with spectacular scenic lake views, and is well appointed with a full bar, whiskey barrel sinks in the restrooms, a viewing window of the still, and an aged tin ceiling that sets the space apart from others. The new 4992-square foot Finger Lakes venue features a state-of-the-art distilling room that is highlighted by a custom-built, 500-gallon copper, two-stage hybrid pot still/ reflux column still from HBS Copper, the commercial division of Hillbilly Stills in Tennessee.
